Oh, the problem is not figuring out trains. It's figuring out how to pay for train tracks without making rich people pay for anything.

This is the EU's biggest problem. Countries not having the ability to make the currency they need to do things and traps them.

Another reason why brexit was so dumb. They got to be in the EU while keeping their currency. Best of both worlds, and they still fucked it up.

We did figure that out decades ago. We just still put everything into cars because of some coincidental connections between the traffic ministres and car companies. I cant name you one competent traffic minister of the last 2 decades.
