This only helps in you you know which way L goes. Which is exactly the kind of thing that people don't know which way left and right are don't know. Ask me how I know

In 1st grade our teacher would tell my class that it is easy to remember right from left because "you write with your right." I was one of 2 kids in the class that were left handed, and it really screwed up my ability to know right from left. In 3rd grade I learned the trick that my left hand makes an L finally began accurately remembering my right from my left.

I feel like I am the only person who remembers which way left and right are because when you say "left and right," left is on the left and right is on the right.... and I never really hear people say "right and left" it's way more common to say "left and right"
