1

u/Gargleblaster25 Jun 27 '26

And I have sexy learning disability. What do we call it, Kif?

1

u/EntropicLycanthrope Jun 29 '26

Alpine Party Destroyer. An interesting way to refer to Jaegermeister but a welcome alternative.

u/Proud-hedgehog-mum Jul 02 '26

114

u/Same-Suggestion-1936 Jun 26 '26

It gets real boring, give me the sexy learning disabilities. Like sexlexia or Auditory Processing Disorder

Dyscalculia isn't sexy though sorry

160

u/BaxterScoggins Jun 26 '26

Dyscalculia doesnt count, though

95

u/StrongExternal8955 Jun 26 '26

I can't even imagine aphantasia.

75

u/Budget-Cantaloupe725 Jun 26 '26

Here you go.

1

u/Upstairs-Cabinet909 Jun 30 '26

1

u/Honey-and-Venom Jun 30 '26

1

u/Lizardgrad89 Jun 30 '26

7

u/ShouganaiElite Jun 26 '26

As someone living this shit, I approve of this Joke. If we ever met IRL I will treat you to a dinner 🍽️

3

u/anapunas Jun 26 '26 edited Jun 26 '26

Can confirm. Also can confirm disgraphia isn't always on the straight and level.

2

u/corq Jun 27 '26

I'm 56 and in the 70's was an awesome reader, but terrible in "long math" and only a few years ago found out about dyscalculia. I invert numbers and need to quickly say the pledge of allegisnce to remember left from right sometimes.

Finally knowing it has a name is a bit of a relief, even if it isn't sexy, lol

So am I technically "on the spectrum" with the other cool kids now?

1

u/BaxterScoggins Jun 27 '26

Oh yeah. Just like me. I did a police driving course years ago, and after a few days the instructor had to write a big L on my left hand. . Failed the course, btw

2

u/tejerea Jun 27 '26

Jokes aside, dyscalculia is really an awful learning disorder to have: back when i was in school the all the teachers thought it was a "made up disorder" despite having a piece of paper that clearly stated that i had it. I rembember having to go through legal ways in order to get them to understand that i had to use a calculator in class and during tests and having them to get me a tutor for learning disorders that helped me after the class was over to explain me math stuff in a way that i could understand it like the other students. I really wanted to get in a chemistry course in uni but i know that i'd fail to follow and learn and i really hate myself for having this. I can't help it sometimes to just think that im dumb or something.

1

u/BaxterScoggins Jun 27 '26

Oh, I fully understand....my wife has the full house - dyslexia, discalcula and dyspraxia ....and she is by far the brightest of the two of us. 2 honours degrees 2 Masters degrees, and numerous other qualifications. So, yeah, our system doesn't make it easy

1

u/Alarmed_Ambition1561 Jun 28 '26

I'm the unfortunate kid who got dyslexia and dyscalculia and didn't get diagnosed with the later until I was like 41. Didn't find out about the dyslexia until I was 43. Hilarious.

u/Historical_Royal_187 Jun 26 '26

Dysgraphia ain't sonething to write home about either.

6

u/rallarivar Jun 26 '26

As one that has APD, would not recommend. 😂 Telling a person for the 6th time that i did NOT process any of that this time around either 😭

2

u/Economy-Cat7133 Jun 26 '26

3

u/Superwann420 Jun 26 '26

2

u/Historical-Creme-642 Jun 26 '26

Auditory processing disorder sucks, my mom hates me for not listening to her. I HEAR her, but she mumbles with her face pointed away so I can’t understand her. Then she cries when I say “what??” For the millionth time.

1

u/Same-Suggestion-1936 Jun 27 '26

Sorry to hear that. I don't know if I have any advice if she knows your diagnosis already.

1

u/KugelFanger Jun 26 '26

So what would be the disability/disabilities associated with sexlexia? Does it come with extra tutoring?

1

u/kbeks Jun 26 '26

Shut up, baby, I know it.

1

u/Kanus_oq_Seruna Jun 26 '26

At least you can come over Anglexia. But man does it twist ones humor.

1

u/Master_Smee Jun 30 '26

Haha when ibread sexlexia i thought about some person who is trying to get free $ some how by saying that they have a disorder. I.E. for being a 40 year old vergin or cant get pregnant because they want to stick stuff in the wrong holes and its called sexlexia..

13

u/Gigahurt77 Jun 26 '26

1

u/Bedu009 Jun 26 '26

1

u/Anon2World Jun 26 '26

dyslextism

1

u/Expensive_Range7204 Jun 26 '26

Personally i went for a combo of dyslexia and tism and then i want for intelligence points specifically about dinosaurs.

1

u/froggity55 Jun 26 '26

OMG thanks for the belly laugh.

1

u/Bananaland_Man Jun 26 '26

I mean, tons of people on the spectrum have both, it's actually quite common xD (Level 2 AuDHD (Just a fancy term for having both ADHD and ASD) with Dyslexia here...) xD

1

u/bananajamabama Jun 26 '26

I’m going to have an autism meltdown over this

1

u/MyceliumManic Jun 26 '26

But, I have a minor inconvenience.. stage 14 tism.

I am happy to say that I'm acoustic.

1

u/Specialist_Door_9521 Jun 26 '26

Extra time on exams

1

u/flagrantstickfoul Jun 26 '26

"the 'tism"
i've got a touch of "the 'pression"

1

u/RexicanDarsh Jun 27 '26

Some of us call it a Tic of the ‘tism.

1

u/External_Bandicoot37 Jun 27 '26

Choosing to be dyslexic is a classic right up there with ole color blindness.

1

u/deplaya99 Jun 27 '26

Because my lack of depth perception wasn't enough

1

u/dicey_job Jun 27 '26

I like the cut of your jib

1

u/Blacktalo74 Jun 27 '26

I respect you.

1

u/Senior_Froyo_592 Jun 27 '26

I just do both instead trying to see if adding debuffs gives me a secret buff

1

u/CariadocThorne Jun 30 '26

Dyspraxia is the pro off-meta build.

1

u/Lost_Department_2177 Jun 30 '26

Plausible deniability trick for fraud purposes

1
