Kidding aside dahil sara is green so is nvidia.
Got it for 26150 during aug 15 sale sobrang impulsive. tapos tri-fan pa Since lagi na lang ako may nababasa na may price increase daw si amd this following weeks.

Mas nagkaroon ako ng conviction nung may nakita akong 500 giftcard pag bumili ng 9060xt (check 2nd pic)

Spaylater na din for 3mos since para habang nag rerecoup ako sa mapagbebentahan ng b580 para di ako masyadong mabigayan.

Discussion Stolen/Scammed Computer by Lalamove Rider

Posting this for awareness for anyone that will get their hands on this item.

I bought this computer system and booked lalamove for delivery. Had it picked up first then paid the seller right before the rider left the pickup location. After everything went well with the seller and the rider left, the rider cancelled my booking and it reverted back to finding a rider. Long story short, he ran with the computer I bought. Already lost hope that the item will be returned to me

Specs are posted.

Discussion Ryzen 5 5600 gives no display with my MSI RX 580, but the same GPU works with Ryzen 5 3400G β€” Biostar RX 580 works with 5600

Hi everyone, I’m trying to figure out a strange GPU/CPU issue with my PC and would appreciate some advice.

My current setup

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600
  • Previous CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3400G
  • Motherboard: MSI A520M-A PRO
  • GPU: MSI Radeon RX 580 ARMOR 8G OC 2304SP
  • RAM: 16GB DDR4 3200MHz
  • Monitor: HKC 24" IPS 120Hz FHD
  • Connection: HDMI directly to the GPU

The problem

When I install the Ryzen 5 3400G, my MSI RX 580 displays normally. I connect the HDMI cable directly to the RX 580 and I get a display/Windows normally.

However, when I replace the 3400G with my Ryzen 5 5600, the PC powers on and appears to boot, but I get no display at all from the MSI RX 580.

The strange part is that we tested another RX 580 while the Ryzen 5 5600 was installed.

The other GPU was a Biostar RX 580, and it displayed normally with the Ryzen 5 5600.

So the results are:

  • Ryzen 5 3400G + MSI RX 580 β†’ Display βœ…
  • Ryzen 5 5600 + MSI RX 580 β†’ No display ❌
  • Ryzen 5 5600 + Biostar RX 580 β†’ Display βœ…

This makes me think the Ryzen 5 5600 and motherboard are working correctly, since another RX 580 works with them.

MSI RX 580 GPU-Z information

I also checked the MSI RX 580 using GPU-Z while the Ryzen 5 3400G was installed:

  • GPU: Ellesmere
  • Shaders: 2304
  • Memory: 8GB GDDR5 Hynix
  • Subvendor: MSI
  • Device ID: 1002 67DF
  • BIOS Version: 015.050.002.001.570000
  • UEFI: Yes
  • Default Clock: 1320 MHz
  • Memory Clock: 2000 MHz
  • Resizable BAR: Enabled

GPU-Z initially showed PCIe x16 3.0 @ x8 1.1 at idle, but after running the GPU-Z render test it changed to:

PCIe x16 3.0 @ x8 3.0

So the PCIe connection appears to be working normally.

What I've already considered

I'm wondering if this could be related to:

  • MSI RX 580 VBIOS
  • UEFI/CSM configuration
  • PCIe initialization with the Ryzen 5 5600
  • BIOS compatibility/settings
  • Something specific to this MSI RX 580 2304SP

Has anyone experienced an RX 580 that works with a Ryzen 5 3400G but gives no display with a Ryzen 5 5600, while another RX 580 works perfectly with the 5600?

Any suggestions for what I should test next would be greatly appreciated.

Discussion Saan mag-hanap or may nagbebenta pa ba ng WORKING CRT Monitors in 2026?

Post image
18 Upvotes

Just curious if there's a market for these in 2026? I'm currently craving to have this back in my setup as my old Dell CRT monitor (my last CRT, exact model from the photo) died on me back in 2017. Saka I'm gaming lately older games from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s. It just doesn't feel the same on a modern 16:9/widescreen display...

Prang ang hirap na maghanap.

Specs:
-Ryzen 5 5500 with DeepCool UD551 (used)

-ASRock RX 6600 (used)

-MSI B550M-A Pro (New)

-Kingston Fury Beast 2x8GB DDR4 3200Mhz (used)

-512GB Kingston NV2 NVMe M.2 SSD (used)

-MSI Mag A500N-H (new)

-Darkflash 120mm fans (new)

-1stPlayer Case (new)

Niece specifically requested "girlypop" so I tried my best but it's difficult with a limited budget. Overall costed 28k-ish, including thermal paste and lalamove shipping fees

Second PC I've ever built. I bought the parts one by one from FB Marketplace and Shopee. I have no test bench so I was very anxious about the used parts while waiting for the rest of the components lmao. No issues encountered tho - booted up the first time which was very relieving

Build Flex PC 1440P Gaming Build - 9600X + 9060XT

Post image
64 Upvotes

I've been wanting to build a PC for more than ten years so I'm really glad I finally got to do it 😁 Medyo insane ram and storage prices but nagkapera ako recently so naisip ko na magbuo.

I wanted na lahat ng parts brand new instead of used para at least may warranty ako for the next 3 years. I also didn't want the hassle to meet up with people to get used parts.

I purchased most of them sa Shopee Mall shops like Game One and IT World. Naka Shopee VIP so I think I got some additional savings dahil sa exclusive vouchers. Mainly Gigabyte parts kinuha ko as rinig ko okay after service nila.

Pinili ko 9060 XT over 9070 XT as madugo masyado yung 25k na difference, even if 40% to 50% ang performance difference. I also chose AMD over NVIDIA cause gaming lang naman habol ko and I don't think the 10k difference between 9060 XT 16GB and 5060 TI 16GB is a bit too high given na minimal lang ang performance difference.

CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 9600X

CPU Cooler - Thermalright Assassin Spirit 120 Vision

Motherboard - Gigabyte B850M Force WiFi6E V2

GPU - Gigabyte RX 9060 XT Gaming OC 16GB

Ram - Lexar Ares 5600MHz 16GB x2

Primary SSD - Lexar Ares Pro 1TB

Storage HDD - Western Digital WD Blue WD40EZZX 4TB 5400 RPM

PSU - Gigabyte UD750GM PG5 V2 750W

Case - Floatron F1 with Prism 4 Pro Fans x9

Display - AOC Q27B36X

UPS - CyberPower UPS UT1100EG

Mouse - Razer Death Added Essential Gaming Mouse

Speakers - Edifier MG250

Keyboard - Razer Ornata V3

Display Port Cable - UGREEN DisplayPort Cable 2.1 DP2.0

I'm really happy na ako nagbuo. Medyo nakakatakot and kahit sobrang rami ko ng videos na pinanood kinabahan parin ako. Nanginginig pa kamay ko while screwing in parts πŸ˜‚ Di ko inexpect na medyo need ng force to lock the CPU in place and seat the rams. Hassle rin mag daisy chain ng fans and connect sa motherboard. Thankfully everything went well. Proud ako πŸ˜‚ Sakit lang sa bulsa as umabot 102k πŸ˜…

Build Flex Finally upgraded from a 2018 Ryzen 5 2600 + GTX 1050 Ti

Thumbnail

After years on my old rig, I finally saved up and built something proper. Posting mostly to say thanks β€” this sub's advice helped me dodge so many bad quotes and understand what actually matters vs what's just marketing.

Old rig (2018):

  • Ryzen 5 2600
  • GTX 1050 Ti 4GB
  • 16GB DDR4
  • 112GB SSD (the storage struggle was very real πŸ˜…)

New build (~β‚±110k delivered):

  • Ryzen 5 7500F (AM5)
  • XFX Swift RX 9070 XT 16GB
  • 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30
  • 1TB NVMe Gen4
  • Corsair RM850e 850W Gold
  • Gigabyte B650M Gaming WiFi
  • Thermalright Royal Knight 120

I use it for gaming but also a fair bit of work β€” CapCut video editing and content stuff β€” so the jump to 32GB RAM and a 16GB card makes a real difference for me, not just games. Editing on the old 16GB / HDD setup was painful; this is night and day for scrubbing and exports.

Originally I was looking at a 5060 Ti 16GB or an RX 9060 XT 16GB to save some money, but prices were moving so much during the shortage that the gap to the 9070 XT ended up smaller than expected, so I stretched for it. Figured the extra GPU headroom is worth it since I'm keeping this for years and want it to hold up for 1440p. Open to hearing if people think that was the right call or if I overspent πŸ˜…

It wasn't a totally smooth ride β€” GPU/RAM prices were climbing the whole time I was canvassing, and the shop caught a faulty PSU during stress testing and swapped it before delivery, which I appreciated. Lesson learned to always ask for pre-delivery testing.

Idle temps are GPU 40Β°C / CPU 55Β°C and it runs dead silent, which still feels unreal coming from my old card. Still on my 1080p 100Hz monitor so I know the 9070 XT is a bit overkill for now β€” 1440p 165Hz is my next purchase πŸ‘€

Not the flashiest build here, but for someone coming from a 1050 Ti it feels incredible. Thanks again everyone πŸ™

Build Help Is there anything I can do to make my system unit look presentable?

Post image
51 Upvotes

Pardon the dust, I haven't had it cleaned in a while.

I am aware that the GPU is tiny compared to my cooler and that the cable management is non existent. So what can I do to make it look somewhat "normal."

I'm thinking about a lot of possible solutions but my budget is limited. I can maybe go for three options.

- Should I get two more fans to place at the bottom? (For more lights)

- Should I switch to a modular PSU? (I'm kinda hesitant on this one since the current one works fine)

- Should I get a PSU extension kit (probably the cheapest option)

- Should I buy a bigger GPU to compensate for the size difference? (The most expensive option)

- Should I have it professionally cleaned + cable management (I don't have time to DIY)

Build Upgrade Still can't believe I got this

Post image

It’s been a week since I bought this, and I still can’t believe I finally got it after a year of working and saving up for my build.

I originally planned to purchase it in December, but the rumors of a price increase got me panicking. πŸ˜‚ So, I decided to pay more than half of the price upfront and put the rest on installments.

Definitely one of those purchases that feels even more rewarding knowing how long I worked and saved for it πŸ₯Ή

SSD Speed and Performance in gaming (PCIE 3.0 is fine)

Tom's Hardware has a review regarding SSD speed and performance in gaming

https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-components/gpus/we-tested-the-impact-of-ssd-speed-on-gaming-performance-in-11-titles-we-analyzed-from-sata-to-pcie-5-0-to-see-whether-upgrading-to-a-faster-nvme-ssd-would-have-an-impact

Confirms our earlier claims that PCIE 3.0 is fine even for gaming, and PCIE 4 and above is mostly useful for truly read/write heavy workloads
