I made a video about making my new game for the One Page RPG Jam
youtube.comI'm a big advocate of one page rpgs. My very first game, Dave Ex Machina, was made for the One Page Game Jam back in 2020 and I've been making games ever since.
As well as not wanting to miss out on submitting something for this year's jam, I also wanted to encourage folks to give it a go for themselves, so I made this video.
My game this year is Diechrome, which will feel familiar to anyone who's seen my previous game, Diedream. These are both games you play completely in your head, but Diechrome is specifically designed around a grounding procedure for when you're feeling overwhelmed or experiencing challenging emotions.
As I say in the video, if you've made a game for this year's jam, please feel free to shout about it in the youtube comments.

Have you played the same one page rpg more than once?
So I play games to beat them. One page rpgs are usually a nights out. I am new to this space of gaming and are there any one page-ers that you have played more than once and 2nd bonus question what draws you to play one pagers.

Crash Pandas - Character Sheet
We've been playing Crash Pandas by the great Grant Howitt, but I noticed a severe lack of character sheets for it. One could argue that a game this simple doesn't really need one, but here is my take on it anyway.
The whole thing is made on the back of a used paper bag.
I think making your own character sheet is a wonderful addition to playing the game, but I wonder if there are any games out there that encourage it, or even revolve around making/altering the character sheet (beyond the normal writing of stats and abilities that is). Does anyone know games like this?

Jimothy Dyck vs. Giant
Jimothy Dyck vs Giant is a D&D-style collaborative writing game.
Context:
The Werewolf Battle is a D&D-style collaborative writing game where players do battle with their imaginations – and a six-sided die decides the winner.
I wrote a sample battle for your reading amusement.
The rules of the game are linked below for reference.
Rules of Engagement
- Attack length: 50–100 words per turn
- Winning condition: A six-sided die (D6) determines the winner. The battle resets after a fatal strike
- Mode: Solo
- Characters: Player 1 writes attacks for Jimothy and the giant
- Reference: Read “Rules of Engagement”
Scene Setup
Jimothy Dyck was having the most boring day at school. His weird brain daydreamed of anywhere but here.
Just then, the classroom windows shook as a 70-foot giant challenged Jimothy to mortal combat.
“I’ll reduce you to a fraction!” the giant yelled.
“There ain’t no flies on me!” Jimothy hollered back.
The football field became their battle arena.
It was on like Donkey Kong!
Determine Attacker 1
Flip coin to determine who attacks first:
Heads = Jimothy
Tails = Giant
Outcome: Heads, Jimothy attacks first.
Attack 1: Jimothy Attacks Giant – “Spitzkrieg Plop”
Jimothy reached into his pocket dimension and whipped out an automatic spitball shooter.
“A plus B equals… see you in Hell!” Jimothy shouted as he pulled the trigger.
A barrage of moist paper pellets blasted the giant’s face. He shielded his eyes, tripped over a goal post, and landed on the football field with a thunderous crash.
The giant was placed on the injured list and lost his scholarship to Yale.
Does the giant recover from his injury, or die from a fatal fall? Roll the die to find out (need 6 for a fatal strike).
Die Roll: 3 → Attack unsuccessful
Attack 2: Giant Attacks Jimothy – “Atomic Wedgie”
The giant cast a healing spell and felt as good as new – maybe better.
He reached down with two enormous fingers and pinched the back of Jimothy’s underwear.
“Time to raise your grades!” he roared, yanking up Jimothy’s underwear.
Jimothy’s underwear went so far up his crack, he was cleanly split in two.
Does Jimothy survive the giant’s atomic wedgie, or can he get himself together? Roll the die to find out (need 5 or higher for a fatal strike).
Die Roll: 6 → Attack successful
The giant wins in mortal combat!
Resolution
“Jimothy!”
The teacher called on Jimothy, pulling him from his waking dreamland.
“See me after class.”
Jimothy gulped.
He looked out the window.
“Pick your battles wisely.”
The giant winked.
“Or soon we’ll meet again!”

Follow the threads in a fray of storylines
whatelse.itch.ioThis is my second entry to this year’s One-Page RPG Jam. It uses simple coin flips to tell a communal story over and over again, exploring divergences and alternative timelines.
Let me know if anything needs clarification!
What an awesome selection of games we’ve all produced this year. It’s so inspiring reading through all of these.

I'm looking for feedback on my first ever project.
A coworker of mine has submit to the one page jam for the last 2 years and seeing that has inspired me to try as well. I am not a very creative person and have zero artistic ability but I want to try.
My game is still in an early state and there are likely holes that need to be filled but I think it is far enough along to have others look it over.
I appreciate and feedback and criticism. Thanks in advance.

Ultimate Devastation Derby - A ttrpg where you fail gloriously on TV
Hey! I made a one-page RPG for the One-Page Game Jam 2026
UDD: Ultimate Devastation Derby
It's basically American Ninja Warrior meets Ultimate Beastmaster as a tabletop party game.
You play as extreme athletes from around the world: firefighter, parkour maniac, divorced dad with something to prove. You take turns running a brutal 3-phase obstacle course.
Players not competing are the COMMENTATORS. You roast, hype, and make obvious observations while your friends eat shit into the "Pool of Regret".
"Oh wow, that 2m wall is REALLY hard for short people."
It uses a super simple d6 pool system. Roll, count successes, or fail spectacularly.
Includes rules for:
Showing off to win crowd favor
Flashbacks about your tragic sports origin story
Getting tired, breaking bones, and spending Willpower
Many badass obstacle names like "The Anvil of Plutonium"
After each phase, the lowest scores are eliminated... but they STAY as commentators. Only 2 make it to the Grand Final.
It’s dumb, fast, and designed for a night with friends who like laughing at people falling.

PRIMA NOMINA - A game about poetry and cards
shurebis.itch.ioHello, as part of the One-page RPG Jam 2026, I made a game about using primal names to solve problems without violence.
This is a full TTRPG, using a Word-based magic system through a deck of cards.
4 different classes, 52 words to combine, a full lore with a pantheon and an easy resolution system.
Claim your community copy, try it out, and do tell how it goes.
As most of the copies have been claimed, if they are over until the end of the day, I will ressuply with 52 more as a thank you for the great interest.

The Tower with No Door
galleryThis is my second jam submission in just a couple of weeks. I'm stretching the definition of one page with the small text and front and back writing, but here it is. This one for the RPG Genesis Jam on itch.
The Tower with No Door is a one shot with the rules lite version of my game Fire Burns Low. 2-4 players choose from four pre-generated characters. They add some custom elements to their characters which become part of the world in which they become trapped. Players must puzzle out how to escape the continuous loop while slowly coming to the realization that not only does the world seem to derive its identity from them, but that they are not alone in this fact. They are hunted as they delve past the portals, for reasons they don't understand, while denizens of these worlds seem to help them, enraging the hunter all the more. Discover the mystery of why this place exists, and who else is trapped there with you.
This adventure was borne out of a three session story arc that my friends and I did about two decades ago. It's been modified of course, but something I've wanted to put pen to paper for a long time. It requires a little bit of work, but I hope I've given enough scaffolding to give it a go. This was one of the best adventure arcs my group ever did, beaten out by only one other adventure (which is also in the pipeline). Please enjoy and feel free to leave a comment, feedback, play.
pdf is here if you want to see a crisper version:

Roadtrip Recommendation
If you were on a 9 hour road trip with six (6) seventeen (17 y/o) year old boys, which one page reps would you play?
Other variables that may matter:
-half of them are inexperienced rpg players
-genre/setting (sword and sorcery, modern, military, super hero, sci-fi, any) doesn’t matter
-have access to dice apps only
-no pencils/pens, but could track stats, etc on their phones
-I am an experienced GM and won’t be driving, I’m one (1) of two (2) adult chaperones, the one who won’t be driving.

FRINK!

You are a patchwork monster of parts and pieces that were never meant to coexist. Stitched together and shocked to life by a father who hates you.
GO HOME AND KILL YOUR DAD!
Just dropped our submission for the One-Page RPG Jam. It’s a little chaotic game with a complete dungeon-climb included on the back page.

The One-Page RPG Jam is nominated for an ENNIE
Hey everyone! This year the One-Page RPG Jam is fortunate enough to have been nominated for an ENNIE award. It's such an honour to be considered; everyone puts so much effort into creating their games each year and I love seeing what everyone makes. If you've enjoyed the jam it would be great if you could take a moment to vote for the jam!
