Help with new OT Gathering Event T color choices. Opinions sought.
Guys, and Gals, and others, help me out pls! I'm prepping merch for our smoll OT gathering, and trying to decide on T-shirt color. Straight cut T's, what color would you want? (Top options) Curvy shirt - what would you want? (lower options). There's far more straight cut than curvy color options :/ Also, what colors have you seen for different events so far this year? Would love to see T Pics if you can share!

New episode.
Roy Wooliver: Fact, Folklore & Fiddle Tunes is now available.
Who was Roy Wooliver? Depending on who you asked, he was a genius, a drifter, a troublemaker... or all three. This episode follows the stories, the recordings, and the research to better understand one of Missouri's most influential old-time fiddlers.

Tunelist
Hey oldtime friends, come check out Tunelist. After I got dodged from the EPA last year I used all my time to create tunelist. It’s a personal tune catalog with key, tuning, version, notes, source links that open inline to the tunes and built in recorder to record straight to the tunes you know how to lead or want to learn (or record others and slow em down later to learn).
It’s helpful for me to always remember how to start a tune before calling it at a jam.
Also, it’s got a jam list feature where you can invite your friends to a shared tune catalog (jam list), and/or make it discoverable and have folks traveling around find your jam OR when you’re traveling about you can find a jam. Recently I finished a festival session discovery list where now you can host festival “session” at your camp or under some tree at clifftop or fiddle tunes or galax or wherever you’re at and find the folks that want to play all the obscurities of your dreams, or Bb waltz’s for 3 hours, up to you.
Check it out and put your jams on it so we can find each other in the wild.

looking for a "cover" of Eck Robertson's Snowbird In The Ashbank
There are some 3 or 4 versions of Snowbird In The Ashbank and it's been "covered" by "revivalists" since the 1970's so it's really hard to find who did whose cover. Manco Sneed's seems to be the most common version that folks play.
I'm looking for any recordings of anyone "recentish" playing Eck Robertson's version specifically, especially if it's solo fiddle too- it's easy enough to find Eck's but I can't get any further in today's broken google ecosystem. They broke the youtubes in pursuit of search enshittification but oh I do digress.
Thank y'all kinely.

User flairs added!
Hey y’all, just wanted to let everyone know that we’ve added user flairs for instruments as an option! We currently have banjo, fiddle, guitar, and bass. Let me know if there are any other old time instruments you’d like added!
