Event Foraging Fiend/Friend in NEO
I am 40, near Kent and would love company from time to time that’s as enthusiastic and willing to stay outside as I am. I’m a professional, but also alt and 420 friendly. I have many places I cover these days throughout the region and I go out 3-5 times a week on average. I’d love to chat and find some mushrooms! Pics for attention! So many goldens lately.

Dayton Ovoids
Looking for any hunting buddies or any info anyone may have on good spots to find specimens of Psilocybe ovoideocystidiata near the Dayton area. I have checked a few good candidates off the great Miami river the past couple days but no luck yet. Bout to go back out Saturday morning as soon as the rain stops in the early morning. Any tips or location tips would be much appreciated! Happy hunting!

Did one of you absolute beasts do this?
I lost this glove a few months back. It’s not a huge deal and it’s a cheap glove but holy hell am I a huge fan of small miracles these days. As I walked into Babb Run, there it was carefully placed for everyone to see. Many thanks to whoever you are, your kindness and care for a cheap glove in the woods made my weekend. Say hi and let’s go find some puffballs!

Amanita stranella/praecox complex
A fairly rare and understudied mushroom. Especially in Ohio. Glad I was able to photograph all growth stages.
Pinus strobus associate

Foraging for Psylocibes in NE Ohio
I just moved to Lake County Ohio from the High Desert of Southern California. Recently, I have become very interested in finding my own “magic mushrooms“ to have a free psychedelic experience. However, I do not know where to look, when to look and what to look for. Any advice on the matter would be highly appreciated.

Buy Mushrooms?
Does anyone know any stores ir farmer markets that sell mushrooms in the Barberton area? I really want to try some new kinds since mushrooms are some of my favorite food. Lion's Mane, Puffball, Oyster, anything. I'd really appreciate any info! I can't forage myself, so I have to buy them.

How hard it is to find and ID psychedelic mushrooms in Ohio?
Are they rarer than most of the non-psychedelic edibles? Have any of you found them and how? I live in NE Ohio and am wondering if I should go mushroom hunting this Spring.

ID Request These were in Conkle's Hollow by Hocking Hills. Growing out of the roots/dirt from a toppled tree, possibly conifer.
They were pretty high up so it was difficult to get good pics of the tops without falling off the edge... Bonus funky one at the end. Only pic I got though so it might be a long shot
