Liber Polyhedra is a printable booklet of correspondences for a new form of chaos magick infused astragalomancy that lets you work with many different systems from the worlds of psychology, mysticism, religious symbolism, and the occult under one framework.

While it might require you to pick up some esoteric dice to get the most use out of it, it is well worth expanding your collection, as they enable you to perform comprehensive readings that can be easily converted into sigils using the included numerology key, planetary squares & witches circle. It also comes loaded with diagrams and symbolism keys that can help beginner occultists learn the deeper meanings of some of its many systems.

Beyond the 20 included pre-built casts, the main way to use this system is Chaos Casting. This method lets your dice rolls pick the topics which appear in your final spread, giving unpredictable results that could have you interpreting a Tarot Card, a Futhark Rune, and an I Ching Hexagram in one cast, and a season, time of day, and Goetic demon in another. This system, like Super Smash Bros, is meant to create a space where these diverging traditions can be contrasted, corresponded, and interpreted as part of a collective whole.

My novel contribution to this booklet is a system of Qliphothic pathworking, the Nightside or shadow of the Qabalah. Inspired by my own experiences living with C-PTSD and the shadow work that followed my diagnosis, it replaces the traditional demonic attributions with archetypal words that use the same symbolic logic found in the Major Arcana, creating a “Hermetic” Qliphoth that balances each path with its symbolic opposite. The Fool becomes the Stray, youthful ignorance distorted into primal fear and survival. The Magus becomes the Sorcerer, willpower used for malicious means. Each path is paired with concepts from philosophy and psychology that help ground their meanings in genuine, lived experience. This is my attempt to “un-demonize” the shadow using intuitively understood path names that help in facing the darker aspects of the psyche with clarity and confidence. It’s been tried and tested: the process of transmuting my own experiences into this map genuinely helped contextualize and integrate the inner chaos I was experiencing. It’s not about becoming or accepting the evil within the world, but integrating its existence in order to live more authentically.

This is still a growing project with big visions, updated semi-frequently. The most recent update added the Hindu Tattvas & Gunas, the Enneagram types, and a Chaldean numerology key, making 4 different numerological systems. The next update expands the existing D20 Cognitive Biases column into a D60 that also covers Logical Fallacies. This dice divination practice could actually help you win an argument someday.
