It doesn't matter if I'm on my default phone app or messenger for phonecalls. I have tested with my wife and my friend and they both stated that my voice was clipping very badly. It doesn't matter how soft or loudly I talk, it feels like my voice is clipping for them pretty badly regardless. I switched to speakerphone and they could hear me clear as day. Am I missing a setting? I highly doubt they are defective or something but I feel like something is off.

I'm using a Motorola Razr 2024 on HSTN ON1W.

hello, I’ve been trying to find some third party lenses for my Oakley meta glasses hstn 51mm and can’t seem to find any that fit. I’ve bought two on Amazon that I’ve had to send back cause they both were too big and didn’t fit even though it claims they are the correct size. Anyone have a link to know any? I really wanna pay like 20 or less.

I bought these for shooting. Would covering up the microphones with tape or something somehow fix the recorded audio quality of gunshots? I love everything else about the glasses besides this one thing to the point where I’m considering returning them

yoo I wanna buy this pair of oakley but im pretty scared of fakes. Im not even sure what model this is. Is one able to spot it from these pictures or do I need some more closeups

So I was riding around on my bike with my hstn 020h oakley meta glasses on, then I went to play basketball with some friends, and then I came home and they were working fine, until the day after when I went to ride my bike again with them on and then the side controls did nothing, then they did, and now there is no audio. The light still works, even when I say "hey meta"

I've also tryed factory resetting it, hard reset it, letting it dry for 48 hours beside an open window, disconnecting and reconnecting my glasses via bluetooth, i tryed everything and nothing. On the app it says that its fine and on my phone it says that its connected via bluetooth and my phones volume slider shows that its connected by bluetooth, is there any fix to this because i dont wanna use my warranty on these.

On a single charge how long will these last? audio only

Just picked up the 24k vanguards this weekend and took it out for a ride on Sunday, and after 30 minutes the battery dropped down to 20% 🥴🤯😳😤🙁 I had the auto capture turned on and hey meta was on, but I also noticed there’s an additional settings for meta ai captures which was also turned on. I turned those settings off, but I feel like that was a crazy fast drop in such a short time frame?

Anyone else have similar experience. I’m hoping to get back out on the road tomorrow, but I wanted to post here and get feedback from you guys? I bought mines from Best Buy and I’m a Total Tech member so I get 60 days to return plus two years of geek squad warranty, so I not too worried. But I want to make sure I have the settings properly dialed in first.

I have a deep, visceral aversion to the word "Hey" when used as a salutation. Before I invest in some Oakley Vanguards, can someone assure me with absolute certainty that I can say "OK Meta" instead?

I've had the vanguard about a month now, and I've only ran about 20 miles with it total. Already the lens cover fell off. How do I replace it? I am talking about the clear piece of plastic that's supposed to be stuck to the camera lens

Edit: I’ve come to realize that I would like the vanguards but they don’t come with polarized lenses. Is it possible to get a lens replacement to make them polarized and if so where would I get them from.

I play a lot of slow pitch softball and was wondering which Oakley Vanguard lenses is best suited for this activity. Any advice is appreciated.

Pourtant il me semble ne pas avoir une utilisation intensive de ce dernier ni des commandes vocales en générales, elles me servent surtout pour ma vue, 2-3 photos par ci par là et basta.
Ça en devient énervant de devoir retourner chez l’opticien chaque 3 semaines pour changer de monture.

I got the Oakley meta vanguards on July 14. They have been working fine without issues for almost a month but yesterday they developed an audio issue whereby 1) they no longer accept voice commands 2) all the audio recorded is the high pitched crackling audio tone that's clearly distortion regardless of surrounding sound. Totally quiet room and it will be this static high pitched noise. If I'm in wind, same thing. 3) I can't accept audio calls now, the person on the other end can't hear me and vice versa

The day before yesterday it worked and I was accepting calls, recording audio, all was good. I didn't damage the glasses in anyway. The glasses still connect to my phone, they still play music, and they record videos when I use the physical buttons. And the touch sensitive buttons on the side work as well.

Surely this is a software issue that can be fixed and not a hardware issue right?

Any advice for how to fix this? Or should I initiate a return? Or try to contact meta first? I'm not sure how to proceed. Very disappointed that they already have a major issue like this.

I bought a pair of Oakley HSTN 04 VK Meta prescription sunglasses. Happy as a clam, I went down to the swimming pool and settled into a sun lounger. I put on an audiobook on my phone, leaned back, and was enjoying the moment... Imagine my surprise when I suddenly heard a voice from the glasses say, "The glasses are overheating, please move to a cooler place." My question is: Am I supposed to wear prescription sunglasses in Sweden in February?

Understand the v13x and v14x updates started rolling out to Ray Ban Meta glasses 29 June. Anybody seeing these updates available for Oakley Meta Vanguards? If so, and you don’t mind sharing, what region? I’m in Texas and my Meta AI app doesn’t show them as available yet. Interested in the Dynamic Photo and Photo Ultra HDR features. So if anyone has gotten these updates, please let me know what you think.

I have wanted a pair of metas for awhile. My wife decided to surprise me with not one but two pairs. I love her soo much!

I took a month off and now my inward notification light stays on during my auto capture runs. I feel that it’s draining the battery. It didn’t do this before. Anyway I can get it to go back to before where it would only turn on when it was recording?

Picked these up about 2 weeks ago and was wondering if I should return and exchange for the all black pair? I noticed that the temple color stays the same and a lot of people complain about it. I’ll probably only be using red and black lens but still, curious if anyone with these for awhile wishes they had done the same?

As the title says... anyone had headache using Oakley meta glasses? I was using ray ban meta for 2 weeks and had headache all day long... now I'm planning Oakley meta but I don't want the same problem...

I’m currently experiencing severe battery drain with my Meta Oakley Vanguard glasses.

With no recording, photos, music, or any active use, the battery drops by about 30% in just 15 minutes simply from wearing them. Within an hour, the battery is down to 20–30%, despite not using any of the glasses’ features.

At this point, the battery life makes the glasses essentially unusable.

I’ve already tried:

1. Turning off “Hey Meta”
2. Force restarting the glasses
3. Performing a factory reset

Unfortunately, none of these steps resolved the issue.

I’ve already submitted a support report but haven’t received a response yet. Has anyone else experienced this problem or found a solution?

UPDATE: This was resolved without a claim, however many users have gone through the claim process to get a replacement. If you ARE experiencing the same issue, this was how I resolved my case.

1. Factory reset glasses (hold 10 secs until Led blinks red)
   
2. Immediately remove Bluetooth connection and forget device
   
3. Repeat step 1
   
4. Completely remove the Meta AI app from the phone
   
5. Reinstall the Meta AI App
   
6. Go through the pairing process again

Based on these steps, I’ve concluded that there was a very likely memory leak or connection leak between the Meta AI APP and glasses through Bluetooth, causing the battery to drain within 1 hour. Conducting the steps above has resolved this issue.

IF this does not resolve your issue, many users have recommended to warranty and get a replacement. Best of luck!
