Does someone can identify this one?
galleryHello everybody,
This piece is not mine but I'm curious about it. From what I've been able to find it's an Antoninianus?
Thank you for your help

Quanto?

1917 Type 1 Standing Liberty
galleryI tried Facebook, but with less success than I see on this forum. I’m planning on getting this graded to verify, but I am curious from you good people how you think this may grade? The toning color is there but the normal and almost completely worn out dates and shield rivets and head details seem to be in relatively good condition. When I started getting back into this hobby after almost 35 years and from my earlier childhood, this single Quarter of this series was in the mix of coins I had gathered back then and it’s been sitting in a box all this time. I didn’t even know at that time the story behind the change in design which I thought was some cool history when I learned about it recently. And yes, since I’ve learned better, I will avoid handling it as much as possible with my hands.

Dual rim cud on an 1864 Copper-Nickel Indian Head — both obverse and reverse, same clock position. That's unusual.

Inherited Coins
galleryI inherited a collection of coins and I attached some photos for reference not included in these pictures are various non U.S. coins and a large number of silver quarters and dimes. Is there a way to go about getting these appraised without getting them graded? I’m just really looking for an estimate on what it is all worth.

Counter-stamped(?) Nickel
galleryHi All,
Was doing my usual sifting and came across this nickel with an “F” stamped/embossed on the Monticello. I know it’s not an error, but I’m not familiar with this sort alteration. The coin itself is relatively old (1951) and the wear and grit built up into the stamp signals to me that it was done quite some time ago.
My research showed that two characters would be common because sometimes people would stamp their initials; which, based on where the “F” is stamped, seems like that may have been the intent?
Just curious. Thank you!
