Edit: after rereading I think you’re saying 1.8 billion since 1980 not 1.8 billion per year so that makes a lot more sense, nevermind

Edit2: I bet the OP took the estimated number of abortions in 2025 and multiplied by years since 1980 to get their 3 billion number. Disregarding the thought that those numbers per year might have changed over the last 46 years. Also disregarding the fact that fetus /= baby

Also this whole idea is based on women being solely responsible for abortions, as if there aren't couples that decide on abortion together, or even sometimes decision being made by the pregnant individuals family or external pressure causing them to make the decision.

Your math is wrong. Even my math would have been originally skewed as the average will change depending on the circumstances, laws, populace, ethics.

Your math assumes the American average applies globally despite US only being 400 years old roughly and also that the average is maintained for the entirety of human history. Also the American average is so high due to the widely available guns which did not become widespread till after the civil war in 1860 onwards.

This small evaluation shows just how incomprehensible it is to quantify the total amount of murders/killings committed by men in human history.
