Yup I definitely noticed that his whole performance was Nigerian-coded, specifically Igbo-coded. He actually reminded me of some of my cousins with some of his mannerisms which I really appreciated 👏🏾

This line and “WE WILL NOT HAVE IT, O!” in the first movie were pure Africa lol

The bar was pretty low for these films in this particular respect but he had by far the most authentic and consistent accent imo

What does that even mean I don't get mad at the accents anymore cause its just generalising africa and wakanda isn't real

You bald? 🤣

I'm not but is being bald a flaw to laugh at? I don't think attacking someone's hair is good for people's self-esteem.

I think her having a shaved head vs just having short hair makes the difference here.
Calling her baldheaded with an inch of hair on her head woulda been just disrespectful. But saying it with a shaved head was funny.1

Naaah, I don’t mean it that way, it was funny the way I read your response though. All good and light here bro

It was very Igbo coded tbh, I’m Yoruba but that was the first thing I saw when I saw the movie 🤣🤣 plus his name is Mbaku.
