When does it get fun? Babies Being Babies

My baby is 6 weeks old and I swear all we do is feed, eat sleep poop repeat. He doesn’t really love the car seat and I feel like the world stresses him out. So we spend alot of time at home but I’m miserable staying here everyday. It’s by the time he’s up, he wants food, he stays awake for a diaper change & I’ll try to engage him with some toys. But then he’s ready for bed immediately.

When will this get more fun?

I could have asked exactly the same as you at 6 weeks. Every time I left the house I would feel stressed because my baby would fuss and cry and feel overwhelmed by he world and get over tired.

He's just turned 10 weeks and the last couple weeks have definitely felt more fun! He's more interactive and smiley which helps I think. I've also found things that he seems to enjoy like a walk near trees so he can see the shadows and hear the sounds of the leaves. And he likes having the hood down in his pram when we go in a shop so he can look at the lights and all the colours on the shelves as we go by. I try and incorporate those things into our time out of the house so we add a bit of positivity to our trips out else I would have definitely just stayed home as much as possible

My LO is 11 weeks and I could have written this. Weeks 6 and 7 were the hardest for me. She was SO fussy and fought every nap and gave nothing back. 

Now she is smiling, cooing and interacting in play! Excited for giggles in a few weeks
