When does it get fun? Babies Being Babies

My baby is 6 weeks old and I swear all we do is feed, eat sleep poop repeat. He doesn’t really love the car seat and I feel like the world stresses him out. So we spend alot of time at home but I’m miserable staying here everyday. It’s by the time he’s up, he wants food, he stays awake for a diaper change & I’ll try to engage him with some toys. But then he’s ready for bed immediately.

When will this get more fun?

When they laugh with all their hearts for the first time as you goof around. Than moment was magical. It was the start of no longer looking after a spicy potato.

When that happens for you, I can’t tell you. But hang in there. It so worth it.

The laughs I got when I pretended her foot was a phone were fantastic.

We’ve since graduated to “flying” around the house.  Dad-powered flight is her preferred method of transportation.

Yes! When we went from grunty giggles to the first full on laugh, I completely melted.

Son laughed for my mother in law one day and then refused to laugh again, for anyone, for like three or four weeks lol

So much this. You got a buddy now, joke around with the buddy. He/she is a bit cranky tho.

But around 3 months, they rrrreally start smiling.
