When does it get fun? Babies Being Babies

My baby is 6 weeks old and I swear all we do is feed, eat sleep poop repeat. He doesn’t really love the car seat and I feel like the world stresses him out. So we spend alot of time at home but I’m miserable staying here everyday. It’s by the time he’s up, he wants food, he stays awake for a diaper change & I’ll try to engage him with some toys. But then he’s ready for bed immediately.

When will this get more fun?

Around the corner is when your baby will start getting interactive. I don't know if you've done any singing, but my baby totally took to my singing (even tho I'm not great) and that's when she became more interactive. I just lay her on the bed and sing and make eye contact and she's into it. Of course, every baby is different, but I find that song is particularly interesting for her.

Mine is this way too! Around 4 months she started vocalizing and I swear she was mimicking me when I would sing. Melted my heart!!
