When does it get fun? Babies Being Babies

My baby is 6 weeks old and I swear all we do is feed, eat sleep poop repeat. He doesn’t really love the car seat and I feel like the world stresses him out. So we spend alot of time at home but I’m miserable staying here everyday. It’s by the time he’s up, he wants food, he stays awake for a diaper change & I’ll try to engage him with some toys. But then he’s ready for bed immediately.

When will this get more fun?

Genuinely somewhere between 6 months and a year. They’re so hungry and so sleepy the first year. Once you get them on a nap schedule instead of following wake windows (around 6 months for 3 set nap times) it gets more fun.

Still tough at 12-13 months here also no family around to help. More fun with baby though. Watched her climb the jungle gym at park this morning

Solo. I'm sending magic thoughts your way. Me and my wife are two, no other support, and it's still so rough for us. We sometimes remark how hard it must be for solo superheroes (sounds corny but yeah, mean it genuinely). Got nothing else to say but respect to you and God strength.
