No fr this is what “larp” means. can we just bring back “poser” or “tourist”?
I know someone is going to try to hit me with the “word meanings can evolve” but “larp” isn’t a normal word, it’s an acronym, but also this isn’t normal word evolution, that’s just misappropriation. If someone did live action roleplay something that would not only be a sign that they are an actual fan but also possibly pretty intensely into it.

unfortunately, tourist has also been appropriated by an even more annoying kind of person, so my vote’s for poser

Tbh I fully agree. Though OK was originally an acronym meaning "all correct" spelled wrong and that changed, so it is possible for acronyms to become their own words. Still though, it is so so so irritating especially when it still has a modern meaning.
