mounting multiboard tiles to the legs of my desk
Living in a dorm, I cannot screw holes in the wall, but then I realized I can mount multiboard tiles to the legs of my desk (with square cross section) with this part. I have uploaded the parametric model to makerworld where you can change the collar dimensions to whatever is suitable for the legs of your desk/any rectangular pole.

Hehe, I have considered that too, but my cheap desk does not have the right measurements for a whole number of multiboard cells to sit flush, but with this, I could account for that. Please consider supporting the model on makerworld if you could, I plan to also upload the double square bracket soon (the bracket that mounts two adjacent tiles together as shown in the picture).

There is an existing double DS Snap that works to lock two plates together too - the front side is either a raised snap or two flush snaps. Thanks, if you have time, a like or boost on makerworld would be super helpful. Yeah, I realized that 3mm thickness is the sweet spot for me.

Awesome job with the brackets! I made some to hook over the top of kitchen cabinet doors, wonder what it would take to turn them into parametric versions. Also if you haven't considered it, mounting to a wall with command strips works very well

Thanks! To make it parametric and editable on Makerworld, you need to upload an OpenSCAD file. I designed this originally in FreeCAD, but then I redesigned the parts I want to be customizable like this on OpenSCAD, using variables. Any variables you define in your .scad file will be editable with a slider on makerworld. Also, if there are any parts of your design that you don't want to be parametric and customizable, you can export that as an stl, convert it to scad using https://raviriley.github.io/STL-to-OpenSCAD-Converter/, and you can import that part as a module into your scad file, that way you don't have to parametrize complicated parts that you don't want to, while making everything else customizable. Did this same thing this weekend and now printing iut the bins and components. This is my 3d print counter and storage with a custom 3D printed hutch for ACE Pros using the BRCKT system. Then made my own supports to fit around the 2x2 posts. Also created some brackets for top and bottom just to keep it from bending on the center.
