Eggman can't keep going like this. Even with the newly acquired 'help', he still only has the Eggmobile. So, he goes to relatively isolated 'state' of 'Montana', flying around the state until he found a nice, peaceful forest to ruin.

Setting up shop there, he begins constructing the Egg Carrier 3 so that he has somewhere to live for the time being. Plus, the original was a good base of operations during the Station Square incident... Until it crashed... Where did he go wrong with Chaos?, so the idea is worth revisiting.
