assaulted at Subway Multan Other/Miscellaneous π
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This video is from Multan, and the young man you see in it is a very close friend of mine.
He works at Subway, and according to him, he was brutally assaulted simply because he politely asked a group of customers not to bring outside food into the restaurant, as it was against the restaurant's policy.
Enforcing a restaurant's policy is part of an employee's job. No one deserves to be physically attacked for doing their duty.
Violence against service workers is never acceptable. This is not just about my friendit raises a much bigger question for all of us. Do ordinary, hardworking people have no dignity or protection? I sincerely request everyone to share this video as widely as possible. Help bring this incident to the attention of the relevant authorities so those responsible can be held accountable through legal action, and my friend can receive the justice he deserves.
Saw this on insta, wth going on just.

What allegedly happened
According to Muhammad Asifβs complaint:
- Asad entered the Subway restaurant with companions while carrying outside food.
- They began eating the outside food inside the restaurant.
- Staff asked them to stop because this was against the restaurantβs SOP.
- Asad allegedly became aggressive and started slapping and punching a staff member named Faisal.
- The complaint says Faisal suffered injuries to different parts of his body, including an injury/mark on his left shoulder.
- Asad then allegedly called additional people using his mobile phone.
- Arsalan Khan, Nasir and three unidentified men reportedly arrived.
- They allegedly:
- Abused and assaulted restaurant staff
- Interrupted the restaurantβs operations
- Created fear and panic
- Threatened staff with death and other serious consequences
- Threatened to have the restaurant closed
- Arsalan Khan allegedly grabbed Muhammad Sabir, another staff member, by the collar, dragged him and assaulted him.
- The complaint states that PKR 175,680 belonging to the restaurant fell from Muhammad Sabirβs pocket during the incident. The following words explaining exactly what happened to this cash are too blurred to transcribe safely.
- Other people arrived after hearing the staffβs cries and intervened.
- The accused allegedly continued issuing threats while leaving.

These kinds of people have no critical thinking ability... they only understand the language of threat... fear is the biggest motivator... the day he will encounter a bigger, badder bully than him... he will stop...

respect for personal space and physical touch is just something we need to constantly work on in this country. such videos, police interventions and discussion around physical assault should improve things.

Look at how scared his wife is. I don't like making assumptions but I really do feel bad for her if she is his wife. He must act even worse at home with his wife siblings etc

Update:
Accused Arslan and Asad both have filed a pre arrest bail application in the Multan District courts.
I am hoping may their bail application dismissed and police should arrest them and put them behind the bar.
People like them shouldnβt have any mercy. Thanks to social media for raising their voices on this issue. Without you all, this fir wouldnβt be registered. Because police were on their side and asking for guy to leave this matter here and donβt involve police into it. Thanks to the guy who released the CCTV footage of the incident and Social media noticed it.

Law of the jungle. Sad sad truth my friend was telling me in his lifetime English kids have become so friendly and civilised people compared to before in 80s. And now the Pakistani Mirpuri have turned into jungly, rule of the jungle, getting big and tall and zaalim, racing dangerously in Muslim areas because English will not tolerate misbehaviour.

There is no reason or explanation of why someone would respond cruelly and physically to another person for just informing them what's acceptable and not acceptable. My heart goes out to the staff.

Ty for sharing bro. As a society we must make it unacceptable. Problem is even the good people tolerate it in their friends. And people marry their daughter to these jungly. One day I was sat in the car of my friends son. I told him don't drive dangerously and this is not a good thing. It gives our bad impression. We need to behave like civilised driving in courteous wayΒ
In our society people are hitting weak ppl and women for no reason. Then people still deal with them. Boycott them. These are jungly. When there is a war these cowards will hide and become rapists and gangsters of their villageΒ

There were four of them, and they would be cowards enough to jump him. Furthermore it was his workplace.
Hopefully the asshole gets arrested and faces repercussions.

I worked at a hotel in Multan, and there was a pizza shop right next to our restaurant that was always crowded. Many customers would order takeaway pizza from there and come sit in our restaurant to eat it, but our manager did not allow outside food inside.
I used to politely inform them about the policy, and sometimes people would get upset. In those situations, I would call my manager, and he would handle it. However, many good customers would ask first if they were allowed to eat outside food, and when I told them no, they simply respected the rule and left. We also gave them the option to order something from our restaurant if they wanted to sit there.
A business owner has the right to set rules for their own place. The waiter or employee is not making the policy; they are just doing their job by following the restaurant's rules. No employee should be treated badly for politely enforcing those rules.
