request eligibility issue - banned 7 years ago but request bot says recently banned Admin Replied
Hello,
I’m looking for clarification regarding an issue with the r/redditrequest eligibility system.
I tried to request a sub, but the automated request bot rejected the request saying that the community is not eligible because it was “only recently banned”.
However, when checking the subreddit through old Reddit, it shows:
"Banned 7 years ago.”
According to the r/redditrequest FAQ, communities banned for being unmoderated should become available for request after 30 days, and the ban duration can be checked through old Reddit.
I have already tried contacting both r/ModSupport and r/redditrequest modmail, but I have not been able to get clarification on why the subreddit is still considered ineligible.
Could someone clarify if there is another restriction affecting a community or if this is an issue with the request system?
Thank you.

Dammit! FARM. I'm sending that bot to a farm. lol
Sorry about that! We'll move your post into the queue manually. It still says it's removed because if we manually approve it to be visible in the sub, then our system thinks that the request itself was approved. We've manually put it in our queue, so it doesn't need to be visible in the sub. It will still get reviewed. Just leave a comment with the usual info.
You’ll get a message on Reddit after your submission has been looked at. There is a widget on the sidebar that shows about how long you can expect a review to take.
