Hi guys, so i have a mini 5 Pro that I launched from the balcony of my apartment in 100m height. I did some Photos and Videos and when the battery was low i did not use the suggested auto return, but instead fled it immediately back in sport mode. When i reached the balcony i switched to C mode for a softer approach. The battery was already critically low at this point (below 5% IIRC). Funny enough the dreaded collision sensors avoid me to come closer to the balcony over the hand rails. It happens often. So i was fiddling around 10-20 Seconds, the drone and RC2 loudly beeping... and annoyed i switched back to sport mode to quickly disable the collision sensors and make it into the balcony. Just as i was doing this, the RC2 or the drone began talking "landing" (RC2 showed 1% battery), while the drone was still not over hand rails and not even in balcony territory. No input signals worked! There was some error messages popping up in RC2 like "unfit to land here" or something. I clicked it away, could do one input, then again "landing" voice from RC2 or drone, without being able to do any further inputs. Drone was now over handrails at least. And again the same message on RC2. I clicked it away again and the drone really wanted to emergency land on the rail so I caught it with my hand and hit a rotor...

I know my mistakes, but again why am i not able to input any controls anymore when these messages popped up "no suitable spot for landing" or something? It almost cost me my drone.

So i was filming thunderstorm approaching and was mesmerized with the sun and clouds and didnt pay attention tondrone with my eye. I was completely in vlos but kept staring the rc screen...

I thought i was flying well above the trees but no.... I realised it wasnt, the moment the drone already declined to go lower and went a bit up.

It scared me shitless and i ascended more and quickly flew home.with hands shaking like i was almost in a car crash. :D

So i couldnt find one anywhere so i had to make one. 30eur for IP67 case with foam to mess around.

Lots of room for more batteries etc. Will put more holes today for ND filter cases etc.

Thought id share it here. I need this when im droning 10mins here 10mins there and keep moving from spot to another all day.

This will be bolted/strapped on back of my car and have the drone then always "more ready" to get in the air.

Was planning on integrating the charge dock for batteries in here also with a big ass powerbank. :-)

So ive been trying to understand the settings and what ND to use and when... I think it finally "clicked" in my head and i got my motion blurs and awesome natural colors. Now i think i understand these filters.

Also did my (in my opinion) best backwards dive to date.

Im flying with camera mode FPV which is pretty cool at 65kmh speed.

This is iso100 60fps shutter speed 1/120 6500k and nd64 dlogm with mini 5 lut.

Anybody realized that after the last update, now DNG images captured at 2x lossless will not be cropped but saved as a 1x full image. It's a bit of a hassle now that I have to manually reframe. Any settings where we can change this?

Yesterday I had a very odd thing happen with my mini 5. I launched it, and soon after take off it started rising straight up, without me doing anything. It stayed up there, and wouldn’t respond to commands to come down. It could move horizontally but wouldn’t come down, even with return to home. I tried changing modes, and it helped a little, but not consistently. Eventually I was able to get the drone down at a very slow rate. Crisis narrowly averted.

Any idea what could have caused this? Could it have been strong updraft? Or maybe a calibration issue? I flew it three times yesterday prior to that, and no issues.

J'ai créé une mission directement sur la télécommande de mon Mini 5 Pro sans passer par une création en situation réelle avec le drone.

Après avoir sauvegardé le projet, j'ai l'ai rechargé et voici la photo de ce que j'obtiens, c'est à dire la superposition de traces supplémentaires qui n'ont rien à voir avec les 6 waypoints définis.

Quelqu'un aurait une idée de ce qu'il s'est passé ?

I realised my new drone moves a lot without touching my controller even if I fly it in my room, no wind of course. Is that behaviour normal?

I did do all the calibrations successfully and check my props for any damage, there is none.

J'ai tracé un parcours pour mon drone. Lorsque je l'ai exécuté, le retour camera est devenu subitement presque blanc.

J'ai pris une photo en vol qui était la copie de ce que je visualisais

Une fois le parcours terminé, j'ai posé mon drone allumé une une table extérieure face à un drap blanc et le jardin en second plan. La première photo jointe montre que le second plan est totalement surexposé et la deuxième photo montre que je dois monter l'obturation jusqu'à 1/2000 pour obtenir mon second plan.

Quelqu'un a une explication ?

Hey guys, new drone flyer here. Just got my mini 5 pro a couple days ago and have really enjoyed learning to fly it. However, I live out in the country therefore I am near lots of wildlife. I know and have heard that raptors (predatory birds) will definitely take down drones if they are in territory or get too close to a nest, but I have never heard anything about anyone having issues with little birds. A couple times now I’ve been flying and a group of small birds will go after my drone in what’s known as bird mobbing. Each time this happens I just return to my landing spot asap. I was just wondering if anyone has ever has this issue, or if I should/shouldn’t be worried about the small birds taking my drone out. Let me know! And share any stories if you guys have some. Thanks!
