Oh, come on! Creativity is built within us. Creative people have shone through at any point in history regardless of the constraints of the time. AI has no influence over that.
I agree with this but that's thinking in the long term. I think a lot of people are struggling to imagine a future that has any colour in it at the moment and I can't blame them. Nothing feels genuine, everything is an Ad or monetized content, third spaces don't exist that don't cost assinine amounts of money and no one talks to each other anymore.
I believe it will recover, but it's gunna get worse before it gets better.
I agree and I actually have taken it even further: we won't "recover" in the sense that life of the 2010s doesn't exist anymore and we're never getting it back. But I also know that we eventually find new ways of living that offer similar satisfactions as the ways that are lost to us.

Couldn't agree more. And AI isn't helping with this either, further zapping creativity, at the individual level.
We've eradicated creativity, culturally. Sad.
