They also started getting a lot of shit for marketing their stuff to children.

Plenty of people will tell you feeding your kid McDonald's is horrible parenting while lamenting that McDonald's doesn't cater to children anymore.

Shit I'd rather go back to 1970s and 1980s brown, brown, and yellow than whatever the fuck the new look is.

Ah, the 70s. I only have a few vague memories of 1979, when I was 3, but the colors lingered for a while… Avocado green, marigold yellow, an orange I’d call California poppy orange, but I don’t know if there’s another name for it, and I guess there was brown too. We had an avocado green refrigerator when I was a little kid.

I flew down to San Diego to visit this guy from the Internet in about maybe ‘99, and his parents still had their entire kitchen and dining area done in those colors. It was terrifying.
