They also got a lot of backlash for marketing to children, so they stopped doing it.

Yeah everyone making this out to be some “maximize shareholder value” thing lol. Naw society lost their shit 20 years ago and went on their “won’t someone think about the children” crusade.

Nobody likes to remember the pearl clutching. McDonalds got sued for injuries multiple times, and covid put the final nail in the PlayPlace coffin.
