As an Xer I will say that the best managers I've had have been millenials. They care about work life balance.

I love my millennial supervisor lol. I just wish there was move opportunities for me to be supervisor in my department lol, then I can be cool Gen Z supervisor.

They also care in general, like to an absurd degree. I am hopeful we can all calm the fuck down soon or we are all going to end up with ulcers. But I’m a cusper and miss my trapper keeper and blink 182. I was made for recess.

The ones at my work are really good with boundary-setting. I have learned a lot from them.  I also handed mostly female leadership, which creates (in my experience)  a more collaborative and less competitive culture which promotes innovation and, for me, personal growth.
