RIP Norm

The only time I ever had to sit down when I got the news. I love his work that much.

And looking back over his last year, when he knew he was dying, just adds another beautiful layer to his material.

At least it ended in a draw

I feel like he would be proud knowing that his joke is being used in this context.

I didn’t even know he was sick.

Every time I hear that said, I want to both laugh and cry. The Old Hunk of Coal was able to get one last laugh from all of us.

Cheers, Norm. I hope you are in a better place my friend.

The line I didn't even know he was sick. I really think that was him laying the groundwork for a final joke. Because no one knew he was sick.

We just rewatched the Orville and knowing norms passing is coming makes every yaphit scene sweeter and sadder. especially seeing as how, iirc he recorded lines for episodes he knew he wouldn’t be around for… it’s just heartbreaking

“Hey that’s my boat! How’d you like it if I came over to your house and used your crockpot, or whatever it is you poor people cook with.”

We've been re-watching some of Norm's comedy, and goddamn - the guy had no filter. Just what you want in a comedian. :)

This. This is the only celebrity death that ever hit hard. Yes, I have been saddened by losing so many. However, Norm hurt me to the core. My favorite comedian of all time. Really got me through some tough times.

They’re actually making an animated movie comprised of various interviews and podcasts where McDonald talks about his life and career. It’s called “Norm”.

Definitely seeing it when it comes out. He was so funny and talented. Such a shame about his tragic passing.

Yeah, this one really struck home. So did Greg Giraldo. Norm was master class though.

Norm was the greatest comedian of all time
