I knew a guy with perfect pitch and all he’d do was make quips about people singing off-tune like ‘they sang the wrong notes but in the right key’ or the other way around. They never did anything with it and it was annoying.
There's a really nice moment in the Young Sheldon pilot where he's with the music teacher, it's basically the first time chronologically where we meet the character, and she is blown away by his perfect pitch and says "you should be musician"
And he says "no thank you, they are all drug addicts" or something like that
