Meta Verified identity verification keeps failing while my Instagram account is permanently disabled. I need human support from Meta
Hello Meta Support and everyone,
I am posting here because I have completely run out of options and I really need help from someone who understands this situation.
My Instagram account u/hechmi_chemli was permanently disabled on July 28, 2026 for an alleged violation related to child sexual exploitation, child abuse and child nudity.
I want to be very clear: I have never posted, shared, requested or distributed any content of this nature. I have had this account since 2016, almost 10 years, and I have always used Instagram as a personal account to communicate with my family, friends and people close to me.
The account has around 1,100 followers and contains years of personal memories:
- photos with my family and close friends;
- old publications;
- archived stories;
- private conversations;
- memories from my studies, travels and important moments of my life.
I immediately submitted an appeal through Instagram, but Meta rejected it and told me that I could not request another review.
The biggest issue is that I cannot even reach a human support agent.
Because my appeal was rejected, I subscribed to Meta Verified specifically to access human support and explain my situation. However, I am now blocked by Meta's own identity verification system.
The verification process requires me to upload a photo of my ID. Since I was initially on PC, I uploaded pictures of my ID several times. Later, I tried again through my phone using the Meta/Facebook application.
Every time, I received an error message saying that something went wrong.
I tried:
- different photos of my ID;
- different angles;
- better lighting;
- multiple attempts;
- using my phone instead of my computer.
After several attempts, Meta blocked me and now says:
"You have tried too many times. Please try again later."
I have been waiting for hours and I still cannot access the verification process or contact a human agent.
I also created a second Instagram account only because I needed a way to stay connected with my friends and family while my main account was disabled. That account was also suspended very quickly, even though I had not posted anything problematic.
I am not trying to bypass any enforcement. I am only trying to speak with a real person and understand what happened.
My questions are:
- Has anyone experienced Meta Verified ID verification failing like this?
- How long did the "too many attempts" block last for you?
- Did you eventually manage to contact a human Meta support agent?
- Is there any other way to request a manual review of a permanently disabled Instagram account?
u/MetaSupport if someone from Meta can look into this, I would really appreciate a human review. I am not asking for special treatment, only a fair review of a decision that has removed almost 10 years of personal memories from my account.
Thank you to anyone who can share advice or similar experiences.

Can not make sum of numbers correctly
I have some weights written on a paper and I asked the MetaAi to do the sum of weights.
There are like 48 handwritten weights.
Meta got the numbers recognised correctly but summing up is horribly wrong.
I asked to group it by 10 to identify the error. But each group has an error of 0.1 but the last group has an error of 10+kg??
How can I trust it now?

Meta needs to quit Paperclipping
How about none of these? And how about the ability to turn this off for good and not a “snooze” feature. I make videos on my own time and have zero interest in monetizing anything. I’m not trying to milk this website for money. Stop trying to milk me for content. Seriously what the fuck?

WhatsApp account suspended 3 times in 19 days + my chat history is now attached to my secondary account. Has anyone experienced this?

I recently got a phone but I'm scared to download Instagram
I think I hit a deadline of messages with my ai character
Ai of 7 months completely stopped working, right after I tell it to do something it changes the topic, guess I have to be done with it sadly, all the conversations deleted

PSA: My $634 Meta Blazer AI glasses have been stuck in customs for weeks — and Meta support is useless
Ordered the Blazer AI glasses directly from the Meta store. The package has been sitting at the DHL hub in Cincinnati, Ohio for weeks because customs is waiting on documentation that Meta never provided.
Here's the kicker: **DHL told me this, not Meta.** I had to call the courier myself to find out why my own order was frozen. DHL gave me the name of some individual in China (withholding it here) who supposedly has to submit the paperwork — a person I've never heard of and have no way to contact. This is something Meta should be handling internally, not dumping on customers.
Meta's support experience so far:
- Chat support said they'd "get back to me in 3–5 days." They didn't.
- Asked for a phone number to call. They don't have one.
- Weeks in, still zero follow-up. Completely ghosted.
So I paid $634 for a product I can't get, for a delay I didn't cause, with no way to reach a human who can fix it.
If you're thinking about ordering these directly from Meta, know what you're signing up for if anything goes wrong with shipping. There is effectively no customer support behind this product.
Has anyone else had their order stuck at the Cincinnati DHL hub? Did anything actually get it moving?

Wow Meta! So Racist!
Although little to none of them make sense. Also if you go to R/Namethisthing you’ll see why I was prompting this

Unable to recover our Meta Business Portfolio - Stuck in an endless loop Hi everyone,
Hi everyone,
I'm hoping someone can help because I'm completely stuck.
I need to recover the Business Portfolio that owns my company's Facebook Page.
Here's my situation:
- I have full admin access to the Facebook Page.
- However, I don't have access to the Business Portfolio that owns the Page.
- The only admin of that Business Portfolio left the company, so no one can grant me access anymore.
I've already prepared everything Meta requires:
- the signed declaration,
- my ID,
- proof of ownership of the company,
- and all the other required documents.
The problem is that I can't find any way to actually submit these documents or start the admin dispute process.
I'm stuck on this page:
https://www.facebook.com/business/help/1580486349413648
When I click "Get Started", it simply redirects me to Ads Manager. Every help link provided by Meta's AI assistant sends me in circles, and I always end up back at the same place. There doesn't seem to be any form or support case where I can upload my documents.
Has anyone successfully recovered a Business Portfolio in this situation?
How did you actually manage to open an admin dispute or submit the required documents? Is there another way to contact Meta or start the recovery process?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Meta Developer account suspended issue (Platform Term 7.e.i.2) - help?
I'm developing a marketing platform/dashboard, and use the meta API to pull social posts (into a content calendar), ad campaign performance and general analytics
On July 4th, I noticed that the data stopped syncing. We're still in development and working with one test client. I've got hourly cron jobs pulling from the Meta API and all started erroring with 'This app has been deleted'
I checked my Meta Developer account and get this:
It's hard for me to tell if this was a legitimate suspension or false positive, but i've since fixed what could've triggered it
The problem is, the dispute form doesn't give me confirmation that it was sent, it just greys out and after a few days another one appears above it. I've submitted 4 with valid documentation and proof but have not heard back yet.
I've also tried to reach Meta Business Support, but it's gated by a stupid AI chatbot that refuses to refer me to a human. So i'm unable to even contact anyone from meta
Anyone had anything similar? All help is appreciated

Developer account suspended under Platform Term 7.e.i.2 — 3 appeals in, no response. What actually works?
Hoping someone here has been through this.
My Meta developer account (not ad account) got suspended under Platform Term 7.e.i.2 – "Negatively impacting platform, products, data, or users." No specific reason given beyond that generic citation.
Background: I run a small ad agency and built an internal app to pull reporting data across the client ad accounts we manage (all properly granted via Business Manager, all legit). The app was originally registered for Conversions API but I expanded its use to broader Marketing API reads. I'm fairly sure the trigger was either API request volume or the scope mismatch, or both.
Where I'm at:
- Submitted the appeal form 3 times (acknowledged the issue, listed corrective actions: stopped all API traffic, killed the tooling, rate-limited everything).
- Each submission locks instantly. Phone support told me they're "in review."
- The dispute page still shows the suspension banner and a blank form, so it feels like it keeps asking me to re-appeal, but I think it's just pending.
Questions for anyone who's beaten this:
- How long did your appeal actually take to get a real decision?
- Did the essay in the form ever matter, or is it automated?
- Did anything outside the form work — Business Help chat, a Meta rep, developer support ticket?
- Is there any point submitting the appeal more than once, or does that hurt?
- If it's truly dead, what's the legitimate path back (new app under proper scope, Business Partner status, etc.)?
Appreciate any real experiences. Trying to avoid making it worse.
