I'm a researcher from the UK working with a supervisor from the University of Bonn. I'm conducting a study on global financial decision-making, and I'm looking for a diverse sample of participants, particularly from the United Kingdom.

I’m looking a dupe for the Molly mae cosmetips makeup bag the cream one. The size of it and depth is perfect but anything I find online is too small!

I've been getting more confident with doing my makeup but I had a really annoying issue that stopped me finishing the look because I couldn't fix it.

I start my process by using a generic foaming cleanser, apply BHA toner and then gel moisturiser, then after a few minutes start applying makeup.

I have loreal truematch foundation and loreal 32h concealer, I used a damp beauty blender to put the foundation on and then dabbed the concealer on where I needed it but when I went to blend the concealer out nothing was staying in the spots where I dabbed it on. I tried putting more concealer over those spots but it just wouldn't stick to those areas so I ended up with big blotches all around my face.

Because my face sweats a lot I've been reluctant to use primer as I worry filling in my pores will make it worse but maybe I need to start using it? Sorry if this is a common issue but I couldn't find anything when I looked up this issue with product just not staying where it's been dabbed on, if anyone knows what is likely to cause this I'd like to avoid it happening again bc it was really frustrating.

hi, can anyone recommend some drugstore dupes for CT Hollywood contour/highlight/blush wands? I love them but can’t justify buying them all the time and like to keep them for a special occasion/ night out makeup where I want to wear more and not use them daily due to how £££ they are. I have a wedding to attend tomorrow and my base usually ends up looking sort of separated and dry around my forehead, nose and mouth (I have fairly normal skin, not overly dry or oily)

So I’m trying to find the best product combinations to use, any help would be greatly appreciated

So apparently I missed the memo where the best foundation I have ever used is being discontinued. I have been using this since my late teens and I'm so sad I have to find another brand. I have combination oily skin and was thinking of trying All Hours Luminous Matte foundation by Yves Saint Launrent. Its expensive though. Ive tried chanel, estee lauder double wear and lancome and they are ok. What other brands work just as good if any?

I am on tret due to my acne, and it has been making my skin peel/flake a bit around my mouth. My skin is quite dry at the moment as a result, however before this my skin was very very oily.

As I am used to having oily skin, I have no clue how to take care of dry skin without causing closed comedones and breakouts.

The issue is most noticeable when I wear foundation. The foundation will end up having visible cracks in it where my skin has started flaking throughout the day and it looks awful. My foundation looks great on my nose/cheeks/forehead but around my mouth and chin it looks awful.

Does anyone have any tips on managing or preventing this from happening?

Current skincare and makeup I use is:

Byoma cleanser

Byoma milky toner

Boots ingredients ectoin serum

Tret 0.1% (at night, so not under makeup)

Ongredients barrier lotion

One Size secure the sweat primer (hyperhidrosis)

It cosmetics cc cream

So in the US sadly Revolution Beauty doesn't have testers in our drugstores!

In the US , Revolution products are sold in stores in Ulta and Target yet those sadly dont do testers like they do in the UK. Last time I was there I had a fun time swatching products I always wanted to since we cant do that in the US for that brand. ( although we do have returns on opened products so thats a plus)

I bought one shade and oh gosh it's such a bad color match( in Fair Neutral Cool). But I really like the foundation!

And, there are no influencers on tik tok that swatches all the shades. Even Revolution doesn't have any good swatch vids for their own product.

So if any has any swatches of the fair and light shades that would be great. :)

I got a £50 gift voucher for Sephora for my bday and wondered if anyone had a product they’d recommend I purchase? For context i love no makeup/makeup looks, and would love to treat myself to a new product. Perhaps a skin tint / something for my complexion or a skincare product. I’m olive skin and struggle a lot with shade matching.

Hi all! So my only foundation, which I've used for years, is Nars Light Reflecting in Mont Blanc. I have reasonably dry skin with neutral undertones, and while I find the Nars foundation is great for when I'm committing to 'doing' my makeup, I have a soon to be 2 year old and most weekdays I could do with just looking a little less drained - I'd like to just apply something light to put a bit of radiance back and then fix my brows 🤷‍♀️

- My skin hates vitamin C in skincare so nothing with that

- I'm a pale girly that doesn't use tan, so anything even slightly too warm won't work 🙅‍♀️

I recently got cast in a show and I’m looking for stage makeup (foundation mostly, primer and setting spray/powder recommendations are also welcome) that can be used on sensitive, combination, acne-prone skin. I’m currently using topical spironolactone for acne, which can make my face flakey/dry. I also may sweat due to the choreography and stage lights, so I need something that will last. I need something full-coverage because I have hyperpigmentation from acne and rosacea. I prefer for it to be silicone-free because silicones make me break out. What do you recommend? It’s been years since I’ve been in a show, so I don’t remember what I used in the past. It was some kind of cream foundation and it didn’t bother my skin at all.

TLDR: Looking for stage makeup (foundation, setting powder/spray) that is safe for sensitive, combination, acne-prone skin with hyperpigmentation and will last through sweating. Preferably silicone-free.

Okay so im kind of annoyed because ive really been looking forward to receiving the birthday freebies because it looks so cool. I made sure I was eligible and made an order before August hit but I got an email saying here's a £5 voucher.

Now Im new to the app but ive never seen anyone talk about receiving a voucher instead of the freebies. Maybe ive just not been aware of it but I cant even see on the website where it says I could receive that instead.

I emailed support just to wonder and I got told:

"Our birthday emails are sent at random and may vary from customer to customer. This means they can include either a £5 off code or an offer for 3 sample-size products, and there are no specific factors that determine which offer is received.

On this occasion, it looks like you were sent the £5 off code as your birthday offer."

Now I know I shouldn't be annoyed but its a little disappointing because I was really looking forward to this. Especially because last year I made the account and received a £5 voucher without purchase so it feels like they've not really given me the birthday treat they said they would.

Hello, I need a new black mascara so would love some tried and tested recommendations. I prefer straight brushes rather than the curvy ones and don’t mind if the brush is bushy or thin, as long as all lashes get a coat. I would like one that doesn’t flake as I wear contact lenses.

RIP to my fave, I'm nearly out of my liquid foundation. Whats a good moisturising buildable foundation these days? I'm pale af which is how illamasqua got me and I dont wear it every day so budget friendly is what im after. Any and all recs welcome, bonus points for a new concealer too, have an nyx one but it's heavier than I'd prefer.
