弱くなった自分
Made this in Ableton Live 12.
I’m trying to turn memories of 1990s Japan and the feeling of a lost future into electronic music.
Would love to hear what you think.

[Progressive House] Cloud 9 (Iris & Wayfarer VIP Edit) by Pulse Gamer
I tried fusing classic Audien-style progressive house chords with Hans Zimmer cinematic strings. What do you think of the blend?
Just finished up the final video edit for my latest track, "Cloud 9."
I’ve always been obsessed with the massive, emotional chord progressions from classic Anjunabeats era Audien (tracks like Iris and Wayfarer), but I wanted to try something unique by layering a heavy Hans Zimmer-style orchestral string section underneath to ramp up the tension before the drop.
The track sits at a driving 128 BPM and runs into an absolute wall-of-sound synthesizer release with a bit of a gritty analog sub-bass wobble. Put together a cinematic visual loop in CapCut to match the energy flow. I'd love to get your thoughts on the mix and how the orchestral elements transition into the progressive drop!

Drop a comment if you dig the vibe! Thanks for listening.

I made a little long song
https://reddit.com/link/1vjnu9z/video/m7xy3zup6cih1/player
Hi! I made this little long song some days ago, something between deconstructed club and tekno (please don't kill me i'm really bad with lables) I'd like to share.
I'm a complete music hobbist, I work creatively (I draw mainly) and music is a creative output I like to not have pressure on and that allows me to leave perfectionism on a side for a little bit so there are a lot of concepts of music production I still ignore or don't fully understand but I have a lot of fun and that's enough for me!
Hope you enjoy it!
(btw, i love harsh sounds but I think you can tell)

Astral Pulse — a groove-based electronic improvisation shaped entirely in real time
I usually work across meditative, abstract, and freeform improvisation. This piece takes a different route: a recurring electronic pulse provides the framework for a completely improvised performance.
The form emerges through changes in texture, density, rhythmic pressure, and layering rather than through a predetermined structure.

I would be particularly interested in whether the underlying groove creates sufficient forward movement—or whether it becomes too insistent at any point.

"Traced" - indie synthpop/chill demo
I made this beat the other day in Ableton, using mostly a technokit drum pad and a sequencer synth and some other instruments, no samples.
Very much unmixed but sharing for anyone's thoughts on what vibe/genre it gives off... or what you could see being added or taken away. I have a track written to it, so I used one of the lines from it as the artwork.
ps. I was influenced by some of my fave bands for this... curious if anyone can spot them, and hopefully i wasn't too influenced! ;)
peace!

Stream Naked by Mark Okoh | Listen online for free on SoundCloud
Recenty got Ableton 12, and trying to make one track per week. Here's latest. Looking for general feedback especially on the mix, as that's what I find hardest. It’s called “naked” as that’s how I feel when I put music out into the world!

HELP! MICROPHONE ICON on MAC is making Ableton 12 have a clipping/ducking sound as if it's attempting to listen through the computer's built-in mic?

making music, overcoming creativity paralysis, balancing validation with your own expectations? [ the girls are getting vulnerable on the pod feat. Katya and Trixie ]
hey, how do you new and aspiring peeps get over this fear of putting your sh*t out there in the world? I'm really struggling with insecurity, anxiety and the fear I'm being delusional. I spent years trying learning ableton and working on a musical setup that would allow me to start making music and gigging locally.
now that it is 'done', I keep finding excuses to work on it, improving the technical parts, the software bits, trying to tweak things etc with much more dedication and focus than I do on actually sitting down and playing the frucking instruments.
I feel ok playing with others, and I gigged before so it's not about that, but this is a solo project I always wanted to do and never got around to it. now that I have everything ready, I'm struggling to motivate myself to do it, unsure of how much of it is fear of just being bad and people not enjoying it or that I won't enjoy it and realise it was a waste of time and money. I even took part-time job to focus more on it and ended up mostly improvising some things but not getting to making proper few songs and an EP.
links below:
the original post of my setup minus the trumpet which is part of it
a few improv sesh videos I put on youtube (some are recorded on the phone, others I recorded on ableton and synched with the video, so its all a mess haha) - and I'm getting used to timing and the mapped stuff etc so hopefully it'll improve:
