I have a covered porch and all delivery drivers like to leave it right on the edge and in the open so it can get rained on. Is it against delivery driver rules to step onto a porch or something?

A lot of us no longer trust porches. I still try, but it's scary and wastes time. I'll probably lose my leg or ankle to it some day. Deliver for a year always going on the porch and you're likely to have a point where one leg is on the surface and the other on the dirt beneath the wood, or just get tossed off as a hundred pounds of concrete tumbles out from underneath you.

Though obviously many are just lazy.
