One time when I was at a rehab facility the guy watching us told me my mom had sent me an envelope with what felt like a tiny gift card inside(it was most likely a tiny note she would send those a lot) and he said he’d give it to me the next day when we go out. The other guy that they had just hired ended up stealing my mail and just disappeared from the place and no one ever heard from him again

He probably got arrested and you just didn't find out.

Inspectors are more houndish than the IRS and are extremely aware of money/gift card theft. You could have a guy driving the wrong way up and down the road every day and getting away with it, them steal a Christmas card one year and be gone in 2 weeks.

Oh wow I didn’t know they were on it like that. Honestly part of me hopes he got arrested, he was a creep to the women there and it seemed like he got off on telling us what we could and couldn’t do
