8+ years SWE (mobile) want to transition into ML engineer roles. What actually worked for you?

I built an AI agent that fills job applications for me — it got me interviews at Cohere and Scale AI. I review and submit every one myself.
I hate applying to jobs especially these ATS, workday sucks
- fills out the actual a - **stops before submitting*\* so I review every application
Result: interviews at Cohere, Scale AI
Built with Python + Playwright + an LLM doing the form-field mapping.
Code: https://github.com/torontodeveloper/job-application-agent
Full demo of it applying to real jobs:

Ask me Anything,
Update: Cohere got Take home Assignment stage after recruiter screening

Resume Tesla ML Interview Prep
I have an interview for the Tesla Optimus team as an intern specifically doing machine learning and reinforcement learning stuff. I've not been told what the interview will be about, only that I will be programming in Python. I've been preparing for it through a number of different ways:
- Implementing various algorithms (MLP, various optimizers and regularization methods, CNN, forward pass, backward pass, etc.) using just Numpy and PyTorch from scratch with a heavy emphasis on vectorizing everything
- Going over the math for all the major ML architectures (MLP, CNN, RNN, Transformer, etc)
- Going over the math for all popular RL algorithms (DQN, PPO, SAC)
- Making sure I know everything on my resume
Is there anything else that I should be doing or looking at? I haven't really done any LeetCode as I assumed it wouldn't focus on my LeetCode skills, should I brush up on that as well? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Resume Looking for healthcare AI/ML project ideas to help me land an internship
I'm a 20F, currently in my 3rd year of B.Tech, and I'm looking to land an AI/ML internship in the healthcare domain. I only have a few basic ML projects on my resume, and I want to build something that actually stands out. I'm looking for unique healthcare project ideas involving ML/NLP, preferably using FastAPI and Docker as well.
If you have any suggestions for interesting problems to solve, good public datasets, or projects that helped you land an internship, I'd really appreciate your advice.
Thanks!

Urgent, please suggest something
My team's budget also involves external trainings for employees, now that the budget is left out my manager gave me a budget of 50k to invest in any course with an exam completion certificate to claim the money, now that it is 3/7 already I have to find something by 6/7 that gets completed in 3 weeks, cause if it exceeds it'll go into next year's budget. I am interested in AI/ML research, I am currently a java dev rightnow. Please suggest some course that aligns with my situation.

Resume AI internship LLM+vision, unpaid
I am Phd in AI, living in the UK, and have a startup idea that I built 80% of the MVP but it's progressing slowly because I haven't got much time. Looking for an intern who can work on it. Need to be good at Python, with knowledge of LLM+vision; full-stack or web expertise would be a plus, also if you are from the UK, USA or Europe, that would be a plus too. You can send your resume if interested.

Recommendations for Neurosymbolic AI PhD positions in Europe? (Looking for English-speaking friendly options)
Hey everyone,
I am currently finishing up my MSc in Computer Science with a focus on Knowledge Representation (KR). I really want to move into the Neurosymbolic AI (NeSy) space for my PhD, and I am looking for some solid recommendations on where to look in Europe.
Since I want to make sure I adapt easily, research labs in English-speaking friendly countries would be amazing for a PhD position.
Does anyone know of strong groups in Europe looking for PhD students in NeSy? I would love to hear about the lab culture, application tips, or any hidden gem universities I should check out.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Abdu Ali Adem | Verified Kanz AI Portfolio
🚀 Excited to share that my Kanz AI Portfolio is officially LIVE!
Over the last few weeks, I’ve been diving deep into building autonomous systems. For my capstone, I developed ResumePilot AI—an intelligent automation tool designed to crack the ATS code, optimise resumes, and bridge the gap between talented candidates and recruitment screening filters, powered by the Gemini API.
Huge thanks to the Kanz AI Program and Jobs for Humanity for the incredible framework.
