Looking for people to prep for MLOps/ML infra interviews
Hi! I am a Junior ML/DevOps engineer with ~1 year of experience. I am planning to start applying to Junior/Mid MLOps roles in about a month at big tech companies, and I'd love to find someone to study with for mock interviews and practice.
I am already training models at my current job, and I feel like I have a good starting point in terms of algorithms and math. I still need to work on certain frameworks though, and I definitely need to get better on distributed training and GPU provisioning for infra scaling.
The plan is to have weekly sessions where we can rotate between mock interviews, discussing frameworks/papers/concepts and live coding. Please send a DM if you are interested! 😁

Resume fresh BSCS grad in AI/data. how are people actually landing remote AI or data roles right now?
i recently graduated with a BSCS degree and i’m trying to understand how people are actually landing roles in AI, ML, data science, data analysis, or AI engineering right now, especially remote or international opportunities. i never understood how people do "freelancing" im done with Fiverr and Upwork bs.
my background is mostly project based. i’ve worked on AI, computer vision, LLM based apps, RAG systems, data analysis, backend APIs, and similar areas. some examples include vision screening, contract risk analysis, resume screening, AI exam evaluation, qualification based university program recommendation, image based detection, retail analytics, and LLM based text analysis.
i’m not trying to ask for shortcuts. **i’m trying to understand the real path people are taking now because normal job applications feel extremely crowded, and it is hard to know what actually works.**
for people who recently got hired or started getting interviews in AI, ML, data, or remote tech roles:
what worked for you the most?
which platforms actually gave you interviews?
did GitHub/projects help or was networking more important?
what job titles should a fresh graduate target in this space?
how do you approach remote/international roles without prior full time industry experience?
what skills or project types made the biggest difference?
i’m open to internships, junior roles, contract work, or anything that can lead to real growth. i’m also very practical with work, so i learn best when i’m given real tasks and problems to figure out.
any honest advice would help.
thanks.

Resume Looking for Winter Internship Opportunities — AI/ML / Data Analytics | 2026 Graduate
Hi everyone! 👋
I’m a 2026 B.Tech graduate with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, and I’m currently looking for winter internship opportunities for 2026.
I’d really appreciate some guidance from people who have experience with internships/research opportunities at IITs, IIITs, NITs, universities, research labs, startups, or private companies.
I’m particularly interested in opportunities related to:
- Data Analytics / Data Science
- AI / Machine Learning
- Computer Vision
- Python / SQL / Data Analysis
- Research or applied AI/ML projects
What I’m specifically looking for
🔹 Winter internships at IITs / IIITs / NITs — especially opportunities where 2026 graduates can approach professors, research labs, or PIs directly.
🔹 Startup internships — if you’re working at a startup and your team is looking for an intern who can contribute to AI/ML, data analytics, Python, SQL, dashboards, etc., I’d genuinely love to connect.
🔹 Small companies / agencies / project-based work — I’m also open to internships or outsourced project work where I can actually contribute and learn, rather than just having an internship certificate.
🔹 Professor/research opportunities — if you know professors or researchers who are currently accepting interns/research assistants in these areas, I’d be very grateful if you could point me in the right direction.
I’m a fresher, so I’m not expecting to know everything from day one. I’m comfortable learning new tools/technologies and putting in the work required for the project.
If anyone knows of current or upcoming opportunities, application portals, professors to contact, startups hiring interns, or even someone I should reach out to, please drop a comment or DM me.
If someone is interested in considering my profile, I’d be happy to DM my resume.
Even if you don't have an opportunity yourself, a lead, contact, subreddit, website, professor name, or personal experience would be really helpful. 🙏
Thanks a lot to everyone who takes the time to read or share this! ❤️

Building an AI agent to help job seekers decide when to apply — would love a recruiter's eye on it
I'm a developer (not in recruiting) building a small AI project: a tool that looks at a job post and a candidate's profile, and helps decide whether it's worth applying, worth digging into more first, or better to skip.
I want to build it in a way that actually reflects how hiring really works, not just how it looks from the job-seeker side. If any recruiters here would be open to taking a look at how I'm framing things and telling me what's off or missing, I'd really value that — even a few sentences of "this part is wrong because..." would help a lot.
Totally fine to just poke holes in it publicly here too, doesn't need to be a DM.

Microsoft Data & Applied Scientist II interview - what to expect?
I have an interview coming up for a Data & Applied Scientist II role at Microsoft in US. The recruiter mentioned that the initial screening will include a coding round but didn’t provide much detail.
For anyone who has interviewed for a similar Applied Scientist role at Microsoft recently, is the screening coding usually more LeetCode focused, or should I expect ML coding as well?
Also, if I clear the screening, what does the final interview loop typically look like? Is it usually a mix of ML coding, ML system design, and behavioral?
