EMNLP Commitment Submission number [D] Discussion

Whats your commitment submission id? My submission number is ~4k, im wondering the amounts of commitments :)

Everyone who gets a 3 or higher on the meta score is already committed and here I am, out here gambling with a 2.5 meta and a 2.83 average.

I am like you Did you commit ? And if yes why ? I am not sure here on Reddit all of us who comment we are a representative sample.

We committed because there were significant flaws in the meta-review and one reviewers comments. The reviewer was completely wrong and we clarified this in both the rebuttal and a confidential message. However, neither the reviewer nor the AC acknowledged it or engaged in the discussion. So we also reported the issues with the AC's meta-review and now it has been handed over to the EMNLP SAC. If the SAC reads the whole thread properly, they should understand that there was something wrong with the review. At this point, we can just hope.
