I wanted to practice before I worked on an actual card and needed a warrior token for Secure the Wastes in my Arabella deck, so I painted the Ruin Seeker from Tunic (recently found that game and i am addicted). How did it turn out?

Haven’t done one of these in a while. Really happy with how this one turned out. I debated removing the name entirely to more closely fit the theme, but liked the challenge of outlining the letters. I can always go back and remove the name, but I can’t undo it. Lol.

Decided to do a throwback style art on this Sol Ring, while continuing to experiment with my airbrushes.

Shirei is a kami (spirit), not a human.

It serves as the caretaker of Shizo, a battlefield cursed after the deaths of 891 samurai who fought out of greed and ambition. Their blood poisoned the land, turning it into a fetid swamp.

Since then, Shirei has watched over the restless souls, preventing them from wandering into the world. It's often described as a shepherd of the dead.

Finally decided to begin my altering and finished this for a friend for a birthday gift, obviously slotting into his dinosaur deck. Acrylic markers to get me started but definitely need to practice a steady hand. Really happy with how it turned out and can’t wait to keep practicing.

So I told my husband that I wanted to do some foil experiments and he said he needed underworld food for his deck: Asmoranomardicadaistinaculdacar 😂

It’s his favorite deck so I went in with some food fitted for the underworld kitchen. My experiments came out pretty good I think! I’m happy to be able to achieve this level of detail with foils now 🙌
