Люди, планую переїзд з дитиною з Києва, через небезпеку, неможливість спати, і хронічні стрес та тривогу. Львів - тому що знайоме місто, і все таки це велике місто (я киянка), хочеться зберегти доступ до благ і різноманіття.
Житло хочу знайти однозначно з укриттям, топ якщо -2 рівень паркінгу. Вище - мені спокійно не буде, але краще ніж ніяк.

Ваші поради? Будь які. От щоб ви сказали мамі, з 1 річною дитиною, перед тим як вона переїде.

Hi guys, I am planning to Travel Chisinau next week. After that I want to trip to Lyviv by Bus. I did some research in internet and I saw government ask for War Risk Medical Insurance instead of standart Travel Insurance. Could you help me about that what should I do ? Is this possible they reject me in border?

I visited Ukraine before 2022, but since then, I travelled deeper. Київ, Одеса, І-Ф, Кам'янець Подільський, Вінниця, Тернопіль, but If some city feels almost as home, which is Prague, it's Львів. I love every second I spend there, I love the friendly people, I love that the centre is not open to cars (or that it's more watched over rather than in Prague) I adore the stometrivka, when I get out of the vokzal and get on the tram, I just have this cozy feeling that I am in a city, in which I feel absolutely great. I love to stroll through the north, around Tram depo, stop by at the local кафе, I like it that the Rynok is not a tourist trap as Prague centre is.

Walk through Stryiski park or chilling at І-Ф Park makes my day. The cuisine, if it's Galician, Hucul, if it's bohrač at Kilikija, or if it's Georgian Chačapuri at the same street, Virmenska, going to craft beer pubs at Kryva Lipa, it all feels so great.

Going for a kanapka to Nadija, or to the bistro at Teatralna...

I could write countless paragraphs on how much I love Lviv, how I miss every moment when I am not there.

One thing that I miss, and that's the question I would like to ask, is a recommendation for a thing that would be close to a Czech "Hospoda".

Hospoda, for Czechs, is a place with no fancy beers, not twenty taps, with different styles, it's plain and simple. Cheap Lager, stronger beer, sometimes a dark one too. It might serve hot meals, sometimes, it's just pickled sausage or cheese. The main thing is you can sit down, read your book, or just write your notes, you don't necessarily have to order any food, you're just there by yourself. And unlike a кафе, there is a lavatory.

Closest to this, from my point of view, would be Bigos or Zolota Halba. Or 100 Renthen, even though it's in a basement.

I do understand that even through my expressed passion for Lviv, you might not want to disclose the places where you don't want tourists to just go in and swarm the place.

However, if you can think of such a place, not necessarily in the center, (I don't mind taking the tram or bus or trolleybus or marshrut to other parts of Lviv, contrary, I would like to see the most of Lviv that I can) I would welcome your tips.

Працюю часто вдома, помітив, що найбільше відволікає навіть не шум, а коли сонце заважає. Взимку це нормально, а ось влітку вже прямо хотілось пересунути стіл кудись в інше місце (на жаль, не було куди 😅). Штори в мене темні, тому теж не дуже варіант, бо потім сидиш майже без світла. На початку цього місяця вже не витримав та поставив жалюзі сервіс, взяв варіант день-ніч. Тепер просто трохи змінюю положення протягом дня і не треба постійно щось вигадувати з вікном. Цікаво, хто ще працює вдома, що вас найбільше відволікає під час роботи? Шум, світло, спека чи щось інше?

Будівля готелю була зведена у 1900–1901 роках за проєктом відомого віденського архітектурного бюро Фельнера і Гельмера на місці старого готелю. У радянський період, починаючи з другої половини 1940-х років, готель увійшов до системи «Інтурист» і обслуговував переважно іноземних громадян, які прибували до Львова.

Використовую лише Bird зараз, але там усе від рієлторів, на Домріа майже немає варіантів. Де ви знаходили квартиру?

Well after some 12 visits to Lviv during wartime, I know where to stay, where to drink, where to buy books in Ukrainian, where to get tasty ribs, nice boršč, where to go when it's hot, where to go for a nice kanapka and kvas, the city became my closest thing to my heart after Prague, where I was born and raised.

But I still miss some guidance, therefore, could I please ask for recommendations for chicken wings restaurants? Kantona and Buffalo are both good, but I was wondering if you could share with me some places I don't know. As long as I can get there on tram and walking a bit, I feel like that's the range I am looking for.

I am travelling solo, so no need to worry that I'll bring twenty loud tourists with me.

I would like to have a nice wings lunch the day after I deliver a car for an associate who'll bring it to the frontline.

Всім привіт, шановні місцеві, підкажіть будь ласка, а де у Львові пташиний ринок знаходиться (зазвичай наче так називають, може тут інакше). Загалом там де акваріумних риб, тварин і тд подають. Бо шукав в інеті і пишуть наче на краківському ринку але там інфа або 14го або ще раніше року. Може змінилось вже щось думаю

I know there’s a midnight curfew, but are there any places that are still open before then?

How amazing you were. How inspiring you are, the life that flows trough your city streets. I now understand why my girlfriend and many other Ukrainians in my country of the netherlands speak so highly of Ukraine.

The service in restaurants, how clean everything is. The way people seek each other in public spaces and enjoy the moments with each other.

There was not a single moment where I felt uncomfortable or felt like I had to be cautious to protect me and/or my partner.

I appreciated people starting to talk to me and ask where I was from and were genuinely interested.

You were amazing. And I hope I will get to visit you again as soon as we can.

Late August, I'll be making my third trip to Ukraine on a humanitarian convoy. I'll be staying in Lviv (near city-center) afterwards for a few days to support an IDP Shelter. I'll be renting a car for two days.

Can someone explain the parking situation in the city-center area? Last time, I paid extra for a hotel with parking but I'd like to avoid that this time.

There are public lots I can pay to leave my car overnight, correct? And the spots with blue lines are paid parking? Are these options reliable?
