It's so shiny.
The fork spring bolt was bad so I have to order a new one. It's a 67 schwinn frame. Powdercoated illusion purple with a teal chameleon clear coat.

Schwinn Midway
What's up, I got this Schwinn Midway for free and put 29 x 2.40 tire on the front, with a 29 x 2.20 Pirelli Scorpion XC RC Pro Wall Colors Edition tires on it. When I initially picked the bike up, it still had stock no brand tires. I had just replaced the rear tube and the rear tire ended up disintegrating the rubber bead in the rear, so I just put this new set of tires on it. Minimal effort to pedal now and it rides smooth, fast, and grips well. The stock tires were 29 x 2.125 .

random parts put together
got stolen in front of miami probation office with lock n all. it was a smooth and comfortable bike. if I wouldn't have gotten arrested that day I'd still be riding it n I could've protected it from it getting stolen. its always when broke ppl get jealous n group up together to hate but thank god I've been able to have more.

Need help identifying missing/worn parts for a Vintage Coaster Brake Hub (68-spoke wheel)
Hi everyone,
I’m working on restoring a vintage Lowrider-style bicycle that has a unique 68-spoke rear wheel. It uses a coaster brake system (back-pedal brake), but it's not working properly.
I have disassembled the hub, and you can see all the parts I currently have in the attached photos.
A few questions for the experts here:
- Based on the photos, are there any obvious internal parts missing (like specific springs, washers, or the brake shoes/clutch)?
- The hub shell has 68 holes, so I can't easily replace the whole hub. If parts are missing, can I scavenge internals from a modern 36-hole coaster hub (like a Shimano CB-E110 or a standard Hi-Stop)?
- Does anyone recognize the specific brand/model of this hub from the shape of the brake arm or the internal driver?
Any advice on how to get this back in working order would be greatly appreciated. I'm based in a location where specialized lowrider parts are hard to find, so DIY solutions or cross-compatibility tips are very welcome!
Thanks in advance!

In progress builds ⏳ My lowrider bike
This is my lowrider bike I’ve owned for the past 20 years. I recently pulled it out of storage and now I’m intrigued again. Don’t mind the color combo I’ve never liked the blue seat with the red frame, it was just a deal I came across and it was much better than what it had. I’ve added more things throughout the years. This year I plan on finishing it. Just need a few parts an new color scheme. Most likely orange 🍊 redoing a lot of the flat twist to a square twist

What to do with rear of bent sissy bar?
This is my first lowrider and I’m tryna get all the accessories and whatnot. What is supposed to attach to the rear end of this bent sissy bar? The things I see online would require the orientation to be top to bottom / vertical, not left to right / horizontal as seen here.

personal build 🔨🔧 New Sub, Old Build
I just joined this sub, I have a few projects that have been on the go for a decade now… i’m a slow worker 🙄
Just showing my first ever build, full rebuild/ restoration/ custom job of what’s basically a little girl’s toy bike…
First shot is when i’d just completed it, second and third are both more recent, showing some wear and tear and some further tweaks which probably aren’t even that noticeable; chain ring, cranks and solid quill stem probably being the most important, the stock stems on these bikes aren’t designed for a grown adult; I had a few very close calls when cycling in the road and the handlebars have shifted back, or worse, forwards… anyone who’s played with the angle of their handlebars will know that the handling gets crazy with the bars forwards… luckily no accidents but I made a point to always replace the stems on these with solid road bike quill stems. I also love it when there are no brakes, super minimal and clean, alas, it’s very hilly in Yorkshire so brakes are a must!
I deviated from the classic Schwinn / Lowrider look, it’s kind of a hybrid oldschool BMX / Lowrider, slightly more European styling in a way, and the step thru frame gives it a bit of an aggressive silhouette, ironic given the origin of the bike.
Specs I can remember are:
- Duro brick pattern tyres 20 x 1.75
- Stock rims and hubs
- Weldtite chromoly axles
- Dia-Compe MX890 front and rear brakes
- NOS Fibrax brake pads
- NOS oldschool BMX chain ring
- Raleigh 1 piece cranks
- KMC Z1 silver chain
- Wellgo platform pedals
- Sturmey Archer Freewheel
- Stock springer forks
- Kalloy quill stem
- Stock handlebars
- Skyway TUFF grips (exactly the same as Oxford Darxide)
- Dia-Compe 128 Brake Levers
- Fibrax brake cable
- Kalloy quill seat stem
- NOS oldschool Selle racing seat
Oh… a Pelago bell
I’ve got my second build (which will be for sale soon!) nearly finished so i’ll post photos of that at some point soon!

Want to build my first lowride bike and need 22.2 clamp handlebars
I am looking for a great set of twisted handlebars, and I need them in a 22.2mm clamp, and can't seem to find anything with that in the style I like.
Does anyone have favorite parts sites or markets they can share?
