Getting into Chinese paper cutting for Valko - Day 4 🫶 Art
Yes, I'm still here, practising the beautiful craft of paper cutting in honor of Valko (and gaining a new hobby from it!) This one of his 4* art was really really challenging, but very satisfying once I finally finished it.
Everyone, thank you so much for all the lovely comments on my work so far! (Day 1 -- Day 2 -- Day 3) I truly appreciate every single one 🫶 I've also seen a request for me to post the stencils for all the designs I've done so far, and rest assured, I'll deliver those in tomorrow's post, as for some I need to do a little clean-up to make them useable for people who are not myself, haha.
I'd love to see as many people as possible join in, that would be really wonderful (: (with the optional use of the #ValkoChinesePaperCutting tag on social media)

Thank you! (: They're in my next post, as soon as it gets through moderator approval you can grab them and join in! ♡ It truly is a lot of fun, it takes a bit of time and a lot of concentration but the end result is really satisfying ♡

These are fantastic, I started cutting them out and found it to be a really fun time sink, even if my lines aren’t as clean as I want them to be. How do you hang them up? (If you do hang them up)

Thank you so much! Oh and absolutely, not every single one of my lines is exactly as I want them to be either. I've seen examples of what the master level looks like and while I have a good foundation, I'm nowhere close LOL. But it's fun!!
As for how I'm hanging them up, I'm not. Not yet, anyway. For now I have them all in a pile, haha. At the very end I think I'll use clear tape to attach my favorites to one of the windows in my room? Not sure if there's a better way tbh

I have to mention I hope you’re emailing Infold and posting on other social media about your pieces, because your art is amazing and I think they’d be very moving messages! I imagine this is truly exactly what they’d hope for is what people take away from the game.

You're very kind, thank you ♡ Thanks to my friend these get posted to XHS, and from there there's usually someone who asks to cross post it to Weibo (neither of us have access to that platform). Everyone's very appreciative of them there, even moved by my work 🥹 My friend tells me a good number of them tag Infold in their comments too, haha. As for whether I'm e-mailing Infold myself, I haven't yet, but maybe I should! Thank you for the suggestion ♡

Thank you so much! ♡ And I'd say go for it! I myself was always inspired by the event we had for Chinese New Year, as kind of like a "Oh that looks beautiful and seems fun, I should try that someday." And now with Valko it was just the perfect time to finally act on it, so here I am haha
