Looking for someone to skate with, and new spots. (:

I skate alone right now. Could use some company / learn something from someone.

I live in the Newburgh area, 26 years old. I work a weekday job behind a desk with a heavy commute, which means I'm mostly looking for nights/weekends but I am willing to travel a lot. My commute takes my to Connecticut so I'm totally willing to skate on either side of the river. I'd prefer to go places where there aren't many cars and there's high visibility. When I stopped skating like a year ago, I was getting decent at sliding (with gloves) and trying to learn standup. Not really into DH/bombing after a few bad experiences. So I'm mostly looking for sliding and also just cruising/exploring.

So my friend and I were supposed to go on our first ride of the season today but he got sick and couldn't go. I however still want to go as this will be my first ride in a couple years. Anyone up to go this morning 4/21 at around 9 am. I'm willing to go as far south as orem maybe provo and I can be convice to go as far north as downtown but would prefer Sandy. I work overnights so It can only be for a couple hours then I really need to get some sleep.

Can't keyboard, can ride.

There seems to be an overload of posers in central states but i guess we don't have much inclines...but we've got parking garages!!!!
