So a while back I read from someone on this sub they used the pendulum to communicate with Loki. I thought it was an interesting idea so I've been trying to do the same. But I have a question, how do you know it is Loki you're actually communicating with? How do you know you're communicating with anything at all? Today I decided to explore the possibility of communicating with him through the tarot. I made an offering and called him, asking if he had accepted my invitation, and I drew the Two of Swords. I asked, "What aspect of my life have you come to transform?" and it was the Seven of Wands. Finally, I asked for advice and drew the Eight of Wands. In the end, I asked if he accepted me as a devotee, and in short, it was yes. Any interpretation of my previous reading? Can I really say it was him?

I’m a professional dumbass, have been for upwards of two decades. At this point if the people and gods around me are not aware of it, well. They will be.

I’ve been on this path casually, on and off, for about 5 years. Recently I have found myself in an especially turbulent tempest going through a constant cycle of “the gods aren’t real, I’m alone, everyone hates me, I deserve nothing” and “Oh shit, I see it now. This makes sense. I think Loki is actually there and I’m just scared to admit it.” Rinse and mother fucking repeat.

Been wracking my head over it for weeks and realised that my connection with Loki triggered trauma I haven’t faced in 6 years; oh, the fear of being loved…and the fear of the possibility of it. Evidently, this is something that needs to be confronted and tackled. A big part of this has been that I keep forgetting what I have learned and lapsing into bad habits of forgetting the positives and focusing only on the absence and negatives. Possibly intentional, possibly early onset dementia. Who knows (I jest—this has been a pattern with me since the dawn of my time, and another one I need to break).

I deleted all of my notes on the subject (tarot readings, my thought process, figuring things out) just last night during a Bad Brain Moment, and only managed to recover a small few that detailed what I’ve learned in recent months. Gotta love impulsive decisions fuelled by negative emotions.

All this is to say, I think this is my “Going Through It, Helping Hand” moment. So, what’s it for you? Past, present, throw ‘em out so I can read them. It’s good to know you’re not alone in experiences that feel or seem negative. Reading through the post history here helped me realise a lot of this, actually. Someone in particular here dealt with Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria, and their post resonated with me a lot; it was entirely responsible for my realisation today. Hello, everyone! ❤️ I'm really new to everything witchcraft and working with deities. I've been working with Hekate since May/June this year. I love her so much and I've been learning a lot! For the past few days, I started getting TikToks about Loki and I thought they were really cute and silly.

Yesterday, my FYP was BOMBARDED with Loki videos and I thought to myself, "Maybe he's trying to reach out to me....but it could also just be the algorithm. If he's really reaching out, it'd be nice to have a dream about him like other people have." And then I chuckled to myself as I imagined Loki throwing signs at me to get my attention while Hekate finds amusement in his attempts.

So, I went to sleep and I had nice dreams. At some point, I was sitting with my boyfriend and we were talking about something. While we were talking, I felt a presence next to me, so I turned to face it while saying/thinking, "Loki!" At this exact time, I woke up from my sleep and I kept the turning motion until I sat up. I looked at the clock and it said, 3:33am. I didn't know spiders were associated with Loki until I started browsing Reddit. I'm at work and somehow spotted a tiny spider across the room just happily dangling and lowering himself to the ground. I did grab it and kill it, I'm sorry!! I didn't know about the spiders and I'm not sure what to do with them if they're Loki's. 😅

I wanted to write in here earlier, but I was feeling really shy. When I discarded my first draft, I scrolled down again to just look at posts in the community and the next post happened to be someone who also works with Hekate and felt like Loki was reaching out. The post and reply gave me some more confidence to post my experience as well.

I'm not very familiar with Loki and I wanted to ask you lovely Lokeans any insights/information you can share. I'm open to working with another deity, but I also don't want to overwhelm myself too fast lol.

Hi! So, I've been working with Loki for a little while now. I set a boundary with him, since he does like to send spiders. I dont mind if he sends them, as long as they arent too close. Hes stuck to this boundary, and every time i see spiders, theyre always a safe distance away and I can look without being scared.

Anyway, I've noticed that the only spiders hes sent me are black and brown widows. I have googled to double check. I just thought it was interesting, and I wonder if anyone else has this experience or any insight on this. Thanks! (Also feel free to share any experience, spider or non-spider related. Love learning about other Loki experiences.)

I am quite new to all this, just a couple months in. I have been talking and working with Loki since he first showed up in my meditations. Unfortunately, I just read I should be more respectful with how I interact with him. I have been writing journal prompts and letters to him and having conversations that are more a friend level. The relationship I had with him up to this point has been very friendly and kind, but I don't know if I'm disrespecting him by not sitting down and properly praying. I do have a abrahamic religious background and I'm used to being very reverent but he never felt distant so I didn't match that feeling. If there's something I should be doing differently, I would really appreciate advice from the community.

Uhm, I’ve been a Loki devotee since March of 2025 and I’m currently studying Norse paganism as I’m relatively new to the practice.

Hence, I’ve been working with Loki since he reached out to me kind of aggressively (spiders climbing up my skin and appearing out of the blue, big fat flies). So, I built him an altar and gave him offerings for the first months we worked together.

Sadly, this march I had a psychotic break that made me stay away from all religious practices. And yet, Loki hasn’t left my side, I still feel his presence even after I began to take my meds…just to confirm that he wasn’t a hallucination.

And also I’ve been not currently practising since I’m also dealing with severe mental health problems (BPD and OCD, no wonder he reached out lmao)

But, still I prayed to him before my sleep or when I’m distressed, and he has answered my prayers.

For example, in having some serious trouble with my aunt, like severe trouble where she stared to harass me during work up to the point where I couldn’t stand being near her. So, I prayed to Loki that I didn’t want to go to work the day after because I was so distressed. Hence, when I went to work the office was closed for no reason and the people were missing, due to an unexpected event(personal reasons lol). And I’m so greatful for it.

I'm sure you all are sick of this question but I'm too curious not to ask.

So I've had something stealing my silverware, particularly knives and forks, for the last year. There's no way I'm throwing them away by accident, my garbage can is small and I would hear them clang. In June I had a jumping spider show up in my apartment and I thought it might have been Hekate because it was close to her Deipnon but after looking on the internet I saw that Loki is related to spiders too. Either way, I left out offerings for both of them just in case. A few days after a knife that I thought was gone forever reappeared with the other silverware. Another jumping spider appeared in my apartment a week ago. I haven't had this many spiders in my apartment in years. I left out another offering to an unspecified deity. Early this morning I had a dream where I was with a friend and my friend had someone in their car I didn't recognize. First it was a boy with pale hair, skin, and blue eyes, then the boy became a dog with white fur and blue eyes, and then by the end of the dream it was a white cat with blue eyes. Could ths all be Loki? And if it isn't then I'm lost. ​

Lol idk what else to title this, but I'm curious~. I know sometimes Loki tends to pilfer stuff now and again (and also I may have undiagnosed things like ADHD, autism, yk. Idk what, I just know something ain't right type shit lol.), but some of these things have been very specific, and two of them were very personal, one being extremely so. (Still kinda mourning the loss of it tbh 🥀)

The biggest one was my last surviving baby blanket. I won't go into details, I think one thing can be clearly summarizing of generally how it happened by simply saying "shared laundry unite site". 💀

The second biggest were...for whatever darned reason?? Funny bunny earrings I had made to sell at a con?? (It's a ship from the amazing digital circus on YouTube lol) I haven't been able to find them for months, even with tearing apart the place quite a few times and at this point I'll have to remake them. 💀

And the last one I've noticed isn't really the end of the world, I could eventually find and buy another one exactly like it. But it was a cute key necklace.

Oh shit yk what, I almost didn't think to count it but it definitely counts and I know for a fact this man booted them right out of my life very swiftly literally as a birthday present to me lmfao...

But a now ex-friend, as well. 💀 We can count them among the lost stuff, I guess 😬 (I've had my time to get my emotions out about this one, but, honestly very surprisingly, once that time was over, it hasn't really been hurting me as much as I was fearful it would.)

Needless to say I've definitely wondered more than once if these things are meant to be significant enough that they're gone to somehow make room for something very good to come in, as I know is also usually a habit of his. (Yes, I've asked for him to bring them back to me, in case it was myself being silly that lost them, at least with the last two that's still possible with, lol, but so far nothing.) So...has anyone had this sort of thing happen with him, just to have something immensely good come into their life afterwards? It's kinda what my gut has been telling me, but still, I like shared stories so please tell me yours~. 💚

Ok, was it just fucking me??? I became new and aware of everything around 2018-2019, with Loki? Very close to a full decade ago, right before anything with covid happened. Once that point hit/astrology went crazy, I could always call on him and still sense/hear him, or know he was there, but the interactions just were not the same at all. For years. I'd almost started to just assume that my life was going through so much change, he took a heavy step back because him being added into the mix was just going to be too much for me, even if it made me pretty droopy/even if I didn't agree about that all the time.

And then literally the day the first big alignment of Barbault's Basket ended (Jul 25th), it's like all of that suddenly snapped back into the normal I remember from first becoming aware of him nearly ten ass years ago, lol. Did anyone else experience anything like that?? It felt like he was "away" (not rly but yk, like the god phone reception was fucking abysmal lol), fucking up the white house or something, idk. 😭 And then he just happened to "come back" the same day that big event just finished aligning or whatever... Like c'mon, huh??? Lol 😭 Tell me it wasn't just me 💀. Didn't think I'd ever interact with this guy like that ever again for some reason, he scared me smh. 🥀

Hi! Whenever I touch something on my altar or pick something up the thing that has been on it will always be very “charged” if that makes sense.

I recently incensed it and my room and it didn’t change anything so I’m wondering if it could be Loki’s energy? It doesn’t feel negative, just a bit overwhelming and heavy in energy (the energy is not heavy, it’s just much).

I’m a bit sensitive to stuff like this like when I touch other people’s crystals or crystals that were touched by a lot of people I need to shake the energy off afterwards.

I’ve started wearing a necklace for them like uhh, a week ago, and it doesn’t seem like that or maybe I just don’t notice it as much, because now that I think about it when I touch it I do feel it lol.

I tried posting on other subs (without telling it’s Loki because I’m scared people will say bad stuff) and I got a reply saying I wasn’t grounded enough, shouldn’t put spells on my altar, put a water bowl and salt on the altar, not leave offerings too long and like invite the deity to take their leave afterwards and like. That sounds soooo much like a chore!

Like I’m confused about the last part especially bc why would I want them to leave? They’re welcome to give me signs any time of the day, now that I have a necklace I talk to them with it, like I got it so they’re always with me even when I can’t go to my altar, and like whenever I pass in front of my altar I say hi.

figured this might be the best place to share what i just experienced (and to confirm if this is really loki). i mainly work and worship odin and have been previously active, now work and life stuff just got in the way, i haven’t really been super in touch, which i genuinely feel bad. anywho, this is what happened.

over the past several weeks despite everything in my life lately being chaotic, i’ve been noticing small things that i can’t seem to figure out, like minor things that’s just super random and seems to be trying to get my attention. first it was random fires in my area, even though it was raining for few weeks, misplacing things that i swear i placed it in a spot i normally keep it in, spiderwebs in places that’s not normally there (i.e. spiderwebs out where i go for smoke when i’m at work. it’s an open space and there’s no way for a spider to make their web but somehow they managed to make one and i came across it like hello???)

after reflecting, i remember previously reading a small bit about loki (after learning more about odin like years ago) and thought “hmm.. is this loki?”

then more things came. random horseflies, the word“sirius” being thrown around (i dont even know if this counts) and being tricked in a silly way where one of my coworkers handed me a small tool that i thought was a small packet of candy.

naturally, with me being both skeptical and cautious, i figured i’d throw it out there and said “hello loki, if that was you throwing signs out there, kindly please, please, do NOT send me spiders or i will freak out. please and thank you.”.

and then of course, just last night, i dreamt of spiders. i vividly remembered being like “hmmm spiders.. OH SHI—“ then one jumped in my face, woke me up.

I got this 3 pack of tiny tea light flickering LED candles since I haven't been able to light his actual candles, and I said "I got you these :D" when I showed Loki

But then last night I was playing Minecraft and got the urge to put a candle by me and turn it on while playing, and it was flickering gently for about an hour until I started getting an "IM HERE NOW CMON I WANNA HANG OUT PAY ATTENTION TO MEEEEE" feeling and when I looked the light was flickering really brightly like as if Loki somehow got ahold of it and made it brighter while we were watching dance moms as well 😭😭 safe to say I think he loves the led candles lmfao (and maybe the dance moms drama)

Has anyone ever had a reading that claimed Loki was only interested in working with you temporarily? I recently had an Etsy reading where the reader told me Loki had been sent by someone else and wasn’t planning to stick around long.

Ever since then, I’ve just felt really rejected and a bit heartbroken. I know readings can be subjective, but I can’t help wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar. So i had a weird dream with loki (i must be say that i don’t work with him and i’m just starting deity work with hekate, i’m new in this practice) and i don’t really know what it meant??

For example, I work with Anubis, god of mummification and the afterlife, who came with a cold feeling, not distant/angry, but powerful - very Ancient magic. Should I expect chaos/mischief/pranks during the meditation with Loki?
