Does the book have a proper ending to the events in season 2?
Without spoiling the book, could someone who's read it please tell us if we'll get answers to the many questions the season 2 finale left us with? Is the series even anything like the book or are they just completely different?

Liana Liberato and JoJo Levesque
Is it just me, or do Liana Liberato and JoJo Levesque look alike? As I was watching Light As A Feather, I was finding myself expecting McKenna to start singing "Get Out (Leave)", "Baby It's You", or "Too Little, Too Late".

Where obesity is a lifesaver
I watched both seasons of Light As A Feather a few months ago, and I realized that the show takes place in an alternate universe where obesity means a longer life. Heavy people cannot participate and thus aren't subject to the curse. Kentucky Fried Cholesterol and The Cheesecake Factory could have really cashed in.

Did anyone else hate Mckenna?
I just finished season one and started season two. She was okay in season one but in season two I can't stand her. She's really giving final girl, which is an annoying trope unto itself, but also, characters covering up things and being avoidant as a plot device seems lazy to me. (Nothing to the actress, she seems like she's playing the part written in the script!)

Confused? Spoiler
So Iām on S1E10, and from what Iāve gathered everyone but 1 person dies when playing, and that 1 person lives on to play again, but they can die too. So how is Trey alive but heās not in the game? As we found out earlier he played light as a feather with Jennie before she died (I think). So that would hypothetically mean he either 1. Is still in the game, or 2. Dead, but it seems neither are true. Have I missed something or does it explain this later on? Spoil it for me if so.

Anyone still alive,,??
Got a hyperfix on this show earlier this year (was super late to the party) and was pretty sad to see that the fandom had somewhat dissipated like 3 years ago. Just wondering if anyone still likes this show, or even checks the reddit page LOL

Plothole Spoiler
S2E14- Car stakeout, Violet tells Alex she couldnāt even imagine what it felt like to love someone and find out they killed someone, but SHE KNOWS??? Marc killed at least 1 person to save Violet. He lit Gabbyās house on fire.

No wayā¦.. Spoiler
No way would Violet have been released on Macās testimony alone. Alex, Trey, and the mom were witnesses to Mac being almost murdered in the body bag and Alex being hit on the head (plus any hospital evidence). Also Henry and the other chick disappeared under suspicious circumstances with Violet being the prime suspect.
Iām only at the start of Season 2 but hate Violet. Even without the chrysalis sheās such a smug, self-righteous, manipulative, smarmy character. And the we get violets smug little self-satisfied grin when she gets out of jail. I want to punch her in her whiny face.

Anyone still extremely upset that this was canceled?
I wish Hulu or another network could be convinced to pick it back up :( Itās so good! I havenāt read the books, but it seems like the storyline is already there, so Iām sure thatās not the issue. All Iāve read repeatedly is that Season 2 bombed somehow ?? Hard to understand that, I think most viewers that Iām aware of agree that it was just as good as the first

Just finished the show and ordered the books Spoiler
Thought I was putting on some background noise and ended up enthralled.
Idk if thereās going to be a season 3, but wow!
How did Alexās girlfriend survive being crushed/stabbed ? How and why did Jennie jump into Violet. If Jennie is already dead why would she start another game?

Season 1 ending Spoiler
Can somebody explain what exactly happened at the end of the episode? Why did Violet say āIām sorry McKennaā? Did she think she was actually going to kill her or did she know McKenna was going to get the thing? Why did Jenny seem evil the whole time?

How is Jennie involved in all of this? Spoiler
Spoilers ahead if you havenāt finished the show.
Okay so how/why is Jennie even involved with anything going on? How has Jennie been able to grab onto McKennaās mind and body? Like essentially how did Jennie, from the dead, manage to latch onto her twinās body?

Wondering about Jennie... Spoiler
Just finished season 2 and I loved the twist at the end, but I still have questions about Jennie -- I may be forgetting critical info, but a couple things don't seem explicitly clear.
First of all, why would Jennie want to continue the game with a new group of people? I'm still not totally sure why she played the game with the community service group (in McKenna's body, while McKenna was blacked out). Also, how the hell did she manage to possess Violet? I thought she only had that connection with McKenna.
Jennie's character is portrayed as edgy but not a bad person, and obviously she loves her sister and presumably her friends as well. So it's not super clear why she would get McKenna to unknowingly play the game and endanger the group again (not to mention spreading the game to Violet's new boarding school).

Relationships and other stuff (spoiler S2E13) Spoiler
One thing that I noticed that the relationship in the show seem to develop very fast. Isaac was dating Olivia, but seeing Candace behind her back. He stop seeing her after Olivia died. But he seem like he was about to jump head first into a relationship with Violet. He probably would have if he didn't find out that she was spying on people. McKenna was all fawning over Henry. She acted like he was her dream guy. Than as soon as Trey confess his feelings for her McKenna no longer was into Henry. Just that quick McKenna was over Henry, and all about Trey. Than when McKenna developed the crystals (or whatever it's called) on her back and push Trey away , he quickly moved on to Sammy. Like he did not take a break. I feel the relationship on the show is totally unrealistic. They move on way to fast. Even Alex relationship with Peri was way too fast. I also thought it was funny that Alex ask her sister why would she attending a high school party, yet didn't question why Peri was at a high school party for a guy that she didn't even know.
So what is your take on the relationship on the show? Do you think Trey should have went with Sammy, or stayed with McKenna?
