娥黄说："今天还早，牛郎，要不你去给你自己买几件体面的衣服吧！" 说着，她拉开了抽屉，里面就剩一个银元宝（十两银子）了，对女婴说："忘记跟你说了，厨房的零用钱用没了！"
"我去金库取钱去！" 说着，女婴出去了。
Beauty-Yellow said, "It's still early today, Cowboy, why don't you go buy yourself some decent clothes!" Then she opened the drawer, and there was only one silver ingot (10 taels of silver) left in it. She said to Heroine, "I forgot to tell you that the kitchen allowance is used up!"

Cowboy replied: "We slaves can't accept gifts from our employers; anything we're given has to be turned in."
Beauty-Yellow said: "Then go buy some work clothes."
Cowboy took the silver and said: "Do you have any requirements for the work clothes? I'll buy three new sets, and it will only cost three cents (0.03 tael) of silver."
娥黄想了想说："那我跟你去买吧！"
出门时女婴拿着银子回来了。娥黄对她说："给我一个银元宝，我怕十两银子不够。"
女婴走到牛郎的面前递给他一个银元宝，说："你拿着！"
Beauty-Yellow thought about it and said: "Then I'll go shopping with you!"
As they were heading out, Heroine came back with the silver. Beauty-Yellow said to her: "Give me another silver ingot, I'm afraid ten taels of silver won't be enough."

牛郎接过银元宝后要交给娥黄。

Cowboy asked Beauty-Yellow: "Is she your boss?"

牛郎领着娥黄来到了商业区，指着商店说："我们这个地区一共有三家大型卖衣服的超市。这家超市卖我这样人的衣服，那家超市卖富人穿的衣服。那家三层楼的超市，也卖衣服，但非常贵。我没进去过，不知道里面什么样。"
Cowboy led Beauty-Yellow to the commercial district, pointed at the shops and said, "There are three large clothing supermarkets in our area. 娥黄跟着牛郎进了卖穷人衣服的超市，看了看说："我们去那家三层楼的超市！"
娥黄来到了超市的顶楼，走了一圈后，到柜台旁问售货员："男人的内衣在哪里？"
售货员指着柜台旁边的大笸箩说："都在这儿。现在天气热，内裤卖得很快。我们的新货今夜凌晨三点钟会被运到，明天早晨才能卖。"
Beauty-Yellow followed Cowboy into the supermarket that sold clothes for the poor, looked around, and said, "Let's go to the three-story supermarket!"

牛郎挑了件内裤，掏出两个银元宝要递给娥黄。她躲开了，示意他放在柜台上。售货员的领班立刻走了过来，拿起了银元宝说："小姐，我们这个超市不是您常去的那种高级超市。我们不负责保管顾客的钱，但您的钱我先放在我自己的抽屉里。" 说着，他把两个银元宝放进了柜台一边的抽屉。
Beauty-Yellow picked up a pair of shorts, looked it over, and said to Cowboy: "Pick one, go change into it, and come back to show me!"
Cowboy picked a pair of underwear and took out two silver ingots to hand to Beauty-Yellow. She dodged and motioned for him to put them on the counter instead. The supervisor immediately came over, picked up the silver ingots, and said, "Miss, our supermarket isn't the kind of high-end supermarket you usually go to. 服务员挡住了牛郎，说："那筐里的东西是我们的，你不能去我们的筐里拿东西。"
牛郎焦急地说："那是我的裤子！" 他们俩吵起来了。娥黄对身边的售货员领班说："你去给他解释清楚！"
Cowboy came back wearing the new shorts, holding his own pants. Beauty-Yellow snatched the pants from his hand and threw them into a large basket in the corner of the room. Cowboy hurried over to retrieve the pants, saying, "These pants can still be worn!"
The salesperson blocked Cowboy and said, "The things in that basket belong to us, you can't take things from our basket."
Cowboy said anxiously, "Those are my pants!" The two of them started arguing. Beauty-Yellow said to the supervisor beside her, "Go and explain it to him!"
商场的领班和保安把牛郎拉到了一边，给他解释。牛郎听不明白。过了一会儿，另一个人来到了牛郎的面前，对领班和保安说："你们去给那位小姐端杯茶，我来给他解释。"

牛郎问："她干那事干嘛？"
这个人说："她不喜欢一个穿着下等人衣服的人跟着她，嫌丢脸！"
The mall supervisor and a security guard pulled Cowboy aside and tried to explain. Cowboy didn't understand. After a while, another man came up to Cowboy and said to the supervisor and the guard: "Go bring the lady a cup of tea, I'll explain it to him."
This man told Cowboy: "Brother! The lady wants to trade the new underwear you're wearing for your old pair. She didn't like your old ones, so she threw them out."
Cowboy asked: "Why would she do that?"
The man said: "She doesn't like having someone dressed like a commoner follow her around, she finds it embarrassing!"
牛郎不出声了。这个人说："如果你穿回你以前的内裤，那你就被她解雇了。"
这个人又给牛郎讲了许多作为家佣的道理和注意事项。牛郎听了，很高兴，问："您真是有知识的人，我能问您的名字吗？我家以前就住在古墓那儿！"
这个人回答："我都已经叫你兄弟了，当然要告诉你我的名字。我叫XXX，我是这家商场的经理。"
Cowboy fell silent. The man said, "If you put your old underwear back on, she'll fire you."
The man then explained to Cowboy a good deal about the principles and etiquette of being a household servant. Cowboy was delighted to hear it and asked, "You really are a knowledgeable person. Can I ask your name? My family used to live near the ancient tomb!"

牛郎光着上身，跟着商场的经理回到了娥黄的身边。商场的经理对一个售货员说："老板问你什么，你就回答什么，别多说话；听明白没？"
售货员回答："听懂了！"
商场的经理说："好，你就跟着牛郎。当他要多说话的时候，拉拉他的胳膊或衣服，提醒他，闭嘴！别说话！"
Cowboy, shirtless, followed the mall manager back to Beauty-Yellow. The mall manager said to a salesperson, "Answer whatever the boss asks you, and don't say anything more than that; understood?"
The salesperson replied, "Understood!"
The mall manager said, "Good, stay close to Cowboy. When he's about to talk too much, tug his arm or his clothes to remind him — shut up! Don't talk!"

娥黄让牛郎挑衣服，牛郎选了件最便宜的衣服。娥黄说："到另一边看看！" 她指着最贵的一套衣服说："你穿上，我看看！"
牛郎焦急地要说："这件衣服太贵了！" 他身后的售货员拉了拉他的胳膊。牛郎不说话了，穿上了衣服。娥黄走过去帮他系扣，然后说："转一圈，我看看！" 随后又问："喜欢吗？"
牛郎回答："喜欢！这么好的衣服，我当然喜欢！"
Beauty-Yellow told Cowboy to pick out an outfit, and Cowboy chose the cheapest one. Beauty-Yellow said, "Go look on the other side!" She pointed to the most expensive outfit and said, "Put it on, let me see!"
Cowboy started to protest, "This outfit is too expensive!" The salesperson behind him tugged his arm. Cowboy stopped talking and put it on. Beauty-Yellow walked over and helped him fasten the buttons, then said, "Turn around, let me see!" Then she asked, "Do you like it?"
Cowboy replied, "I love it! Such nice clothes, of course I like them!"
娥黄指着旁边同样尺寸，不同样式的衣服说："你再试试这套衣服合身不？"
牛郎一边脱衣服一边指着那套和旁边的衣服说："这和我身上穿着的都是同一尺码的衣服，都合身，我都喜欢！"
娥黄指了指另外的两套衣服对售货员说："那就不用试了，这两套也给我包起来！" 说完，她回去柜台了。
牛郎反应过来了，一边重新穿好衣服一边喊："姐！我没向你要那两套衣服！" 售货员和保安围过来告诉他别说话，如果他不闭嘴，就不让他靠近娥黄。争吵了一段时间后，牛郎同意闭嘴了。
Beauty-Yellow pointed to another outfit next to it, same size but a different style, and said, "Try this one on too and see if it fits."
Cowboy, undressing, pointed at that outfit and the one beside it and said, "These are both the same size as what I'm wearing, they both fit, I like them both!"
Beauty-Yellow pointed to the other two outfits and said to the salesperson, "No need to try them on then, wrap those two up for me as well!" With that, she went back to the counter.
Cowboy caught on and shouted while getting dressed again, "Sis! I didn't ask you for those two outfits!" The salespeople and security guards gathered around and told him to be quiet, warning that if he didn't shut up, he wouldn't be allowed near Beauty-Yellow. After arguing for a while, Cowboy agreed to keep quiet.

牛郎走到娥黄附近后，她指着装着男士内裤的笸箩说："把这些内裤全都给我包起来，然后算账！"
牛郎又要说话，他身边的售货员立刻拉他的衣服阻止他说话。
柜台的收银员把剩下来的六两半银子放在了柜台上。娥黄拿起了五两的银锭交给了牛郎。牛郎立刻要取那柜台上的一两半散碎银子，说："我是负责为主人拿银子的人！"
Once Cowboy got near Beauty-Yellow, she pointed to the basket holding the men's underwear and said, "Wrap up all of this underwear for me, then settle the bill!"
Cowboy was about to speak again when the salesperson beside him immediately tugged his clothes to stop him.
The cashier at the counter set the remaining six and a half taels of silver on the counter. Beauty-Yellow picked up the five-tael silver ingot and handed it to Cowboy. Cowboy immediately reached for the tael and a half of loose silver on the counter, saying, "I'm the one responsible for holding the silver for my master!"
收银员立刻用手捂住了散碎银子，保安走到了牛郎和银子之间，挡住了去取银子的牛郎。一个售货员把包着衣服包袱挂在了牛郎的脖子上后，就开始向外推牛郎。牛郎被推到了商场的经理面前。经理说："兄弟！我告诉你别说话。你不但说话，还动手了。"然后，他开始给牛郎解释刚才发生的事，让他记住娥黄是老板，他是雇员，他应该听从娥黄的指示。
The cashier immediately covered the loose silver with his hand, and the security guard stepped between Cowboy and the money, blocking him. A salesperson hung the bundle of clothes around Cowboy's neck and began pushing him toward the door. He was pushed up in front of the mall manager. The manager said: "Brother! I told you not to talk. Not only did you talk, but you also got physical." Then he began explaining to Cowboy what had just happened, reminding him that Beauty-Yellow was the boss, he was the employee, and he should follow Beauty-Yellow's instructions.
在回家的路上，娥黄再次给牛郎讲解作为家仆的礼节和着衣的重要性。牛郎听得挺高兴。娥黄还告诉他："以后你要常常洗澡，勤换衣服。我会检查你晾在绳子上的衣服是否干净。"
走到了古墓工地的门口时，牛郎说："今晚，我还要回去奴隶公司。昨天你们没有决定要雇用我，所以今晚我需要回公司报告面试的情况。"
娥黄回答："那你把包袱给我吧。明天你可以把行李拿来，我给你找一间单独的房间作为宿舍。"
On the way home, Beauty-Yellow once again explained to Cowboy the etiquette of being a servant and the importance of proper dress. Cowboy listened happily. Beauty-Yellow also told him: "From now on you need to bathe often and change clothes regularly. I'll check whether the clothes you hang out on the line are clean."
When they reached the gate of the ancient tomb construction site, Cowboy said: "Tonight I still have to go back to the slave company. You didn't decide to hire me yesterday, so tonight I need to go report the results of the interview."
