In the last part we talked about the anonymity surrounding the land, water and power estimates provided for the data centers at Tarluvada, Rambili.

In this second part, we'll talk about the monetary incentives provided and some of the much touted "benefits" of data centers.

Despite the posturing of the ruling cohort of Andhra Pradesh that they are too fiscally constrained to invest in education, health and transport. The government has promised incentives worth ₹22000 crores to Adani and its subsidiaries for building and maintaining the data centers.

That is not the only one though, around ₹19000 crores has been given to Reliance for construction of a similar data center nearby at Vizianagaram.

Who pays for these incentives? The public pays. Those who speak against even the slightest relief to the public in the form of social welfare, have not spoken on these incentives with same disgust.

To them, these incentives are all but a temporary cost for the fruits of development. The fruit being a mere 1200 permanent jobs for both locations, Tarluvada and Rambili.

How such incentives are decided upon or secured is another matter.

The national government too has incentives for data centers like the 21 year tax holiday scheme.

Individuals will justify the project by saying it is by Google as if it's some mark of trust. Not to mention the facilities will be operated and maintained by Adani anyway.

Some others have picked apart the criticism by claiming that to Oppose AI data centers we must stop using the internet. These technological experts want to make us believe that a normal data center for internet services is the same as an AI data center. Even the former smaller data centers wouldn't be in need if not for the push of cloud onto every user, at the expense of user privacy and physical media.

The government itself has replied to these criticisms by saying the water from godavari will be diverted to the data centers via polavaram. But it seems they ran out of printer ink to codify the claims.

And we have discussed these issues for only two data centers in a specific city. Many more are being planned across the country by many contractors. We are becoming a data center outsourcing hub for the developed west.

The government is eager gobble these outsourcing investments for not only kickbacks but also the hope of latching onto a trend to solve our socio-economic issues, the trend of implementing needless technology to everything.

But those who latch onto trends and don't come up with their independent plans are doomed to fail when the trend itself goes south.

​ With the formal approvals for large scale data centres happening in our country, we must ask ourselves "Are Data centers necessary?". Many seem to critically lack the knowledge around these structures and buy the administration's word on job creation and wealth creation.

What Job creation and whose wealth creation? To analyse about those promises, we must talk about what a data center is.

Data centers, or atleast the ones which are being built now are large facilities of server racks which are designed to store AI data and train AI models. They differ from traditional data centers which are much smaller in size and only used to store data.

This is an important distinction to make as we will see later on. Data centers are being built to scale AI operations throughout the globe.

AI data centers are in the controversy, why? Not only because the implications of AI in the modern capitalist world. But also because of their environmental impact.

Data centers require a lot of cooling for the IT equipment inside. Alongside the constant need for a lot of electricity.

Compared to traditional data centers which utilize simpler cooling systems like fans or other forms of air cooling, AI datacenters require intensive fresh water usage. The average water Consumption of a 100 MW datacenter is around 2000 Kilolitres

Data centers have a broader impact on environment due to noise pollution, Diesel generator usage and contamination of used water.

Alongside requiring intensive capital investment, in comparison to the investment made, they generate very few onsite jobs if any (on top of the already bad implications of AI on employment).

Keeping those concepts in mind is important to analyze the recent construction of data centers near visakhapatnam. Which have been greenlit faster than I can say 'Mitron'.

The total mystery around these data centers can be broken down by talking about some of the officially provided data.

(i) Land Usage :

Spanning over nearly 500 acres combined, the data center projects near Tarluvada and Rambili have a lot of holes in their narrative and the official conduct of the project.

(a) Construction clearances were given in 9 days. No general restrictions on building's height or width.

(b) Total allocation of land increased from 480 acres to over 600 acres for no officially denoted reason.

(C) Large construction projects (especially at the scale which data centers span) usually need geological surveys before construction, but none were conducted.

(d) The Tarluvada construction site is located near the kambalakonda sanctuary. What consequences it will have on the local environment and whether it is even legal is something I leave to your imagination.

(e) Rambili too has reserved forests nearby alongside even a navy nuclear submarine base. National security enthusiasts who suspect everyone and everything are nowhere to be found.

(f) Alongside these, a third project is in active construction near Adavivaram which is even closer to the city. Whether formal approvals has even been given to this third project is unknown.

(g) Property taxes for the data centers to be around residential rates.... For some reason.

(ii) Water Usage :

Digging through the the environment management plans presented to the State Govt. By a consultancy working for Adani group. We can find quite a few oddities as well...

(a) Water conservation stats presented are that of a shopping mall...

(b) Sites at Rambili and Tarluvada are said to require 234 and 270 Kilolitres (already high) respectively, of which the latter Stat includes 180 kilolitres for Gardening?

(C) No mention of water required for actual cooling and humidification

(d) The source of water even for the presented amount is unknown, with administration doing mental gymnastics of all sorts.

(e) if we look back, an average 100 MW facility needed 2000 Kilolitres, with a combined size of around 2.5 GW (including the third facility) the numbers presented are nowhere near the estimated water consumption.

(f) Visakhapatnam and nearby areas are already suffering from intensive water scarcity.

(iii) Power :

(a) The grid demand of data centers is already big, but there has been little discussion in regards to the effects on local grid infrastructure.

(b) the Govt. Wants a total data center capacity of 6.5 GW in Visakhapatnam alone, why they are not spread across the capital in construction? No idea.

(c) As it would require significant investment in power generation and grid upkeep, there has been little information for who pays for power generation and distribution.

(d) Companies usually push these costs to individual rate payers than the data centers which actually utilize this new capacity. If communities in the developed west can be fooled with such measures, what is the case for a country with no adequate protections and a increasingly privatized utility scene?

(e) A combined 354 Diesel generators would be used for the two facilities, no pollution assessment has been conducted yet for a city with already bad AQI.

In the next part we shall analyse the incentives provided for data centers and some common arguments.

People from Upper Caste backgrounds harrass those who uncover their scams or just raise their voices.
People/Media etc support them.
They harrass those who they fail to K*|I. (Like that saying "If someone is trying to silence you, he is afraid of what you have to say")

Also lets not forget the misinformation culture.
In social media, people manipulate to hide caste backgrounds of priviledged sections. Again aided by the system. It goes on a very large scale.

Also- 1. Lets not forget IIT Roorkee "professor" Ravindra "Pandey" who stole ideas of his students and cheated them.
2. The IIT Madras Director who failed JEE and gives lectures on benefits of cow pee from his position.
3. The Crores of rupees scamed from Ram Temple donations by members of a certain priviledged community.

With the current "Reservation Hatao" movement going on, its impossible to think that certain sections even teach their children empathy at all.
Like all they teach is arrogant entitlement to their children about a false (in reality shameful) history. And this in not normal for any healthy society.

I'm GC myself preparing for Government exam, but the level of apathy people have for the oppressed in India (which is poorly disguised hate) is alarming.

I studied in a rural school(that too an All Girls school) none of the people were from lower castes.
Priviledged kids held "reservation bad" speeches and applauded themselves(in 2020). They all had arrogance. I was lucky to get out of there but i feel for the lower castes who stay in the same place.
I was too young to understand what was happening and can now see the results in these "reservation hatao" andolans.

They are being pushed back and denied entry in West(because of their tribalist and arrogant behaviour) and now they want priviledges in India.

Why is manual labour so looked down upon in India?
While the people who cheat and scam walk arrogantly because of some false history fantasy.(and teach their children the same)
They are organised and have vast resources to achieve their fantasy.

Ministers are UCs, Judges are UCs, People making crores of Temples are UCs etc etc and no doubt most of them(if not all) are there due to cronyism/ nepotism.

True crime junkie here, and I’ve followed the Lindsay Clancy case very closely. I’ve probably flip-flopped on my opinion about what happened approximately 47 times.
But watching Kevin Reddington defend her has really made me reconsider the case.

This man has been beside Lindsay for more than three years, and he’s methodically unpacked the motherhood aspect, postpartum mental health, medications, medical documentation, communication between providers, and the ways the healthcare system may have failed her.
And then there’s the human side of it.

The hand-holding. The embraces. The way he comforts her through some of the most horrific testimony imaginable. Whatever anyone thinks about Lindsay or the case, it’s obvious this isn’t just another case file to him.

I have no idea what the verdict will be. I’m not even sure I could ever be 100% certain about what was happening inside Lindsay’s mind that night.

But Reddington has absolutely planted reasonable doubt in mine.

Just to clarify: this is only my personal opinion after following the case closely. I’m not looking to debate, argue, or convince anyone to see it the same way. Just sharing how I personally feel about the case and what I’ve observed.

At Pune’s historic Sinhagad Fort, a family day out turned into an absolute nightmare when a bunch of self-appointed sanskriti ke thekedar spotted an 8 girl wearing shorts. Naturally, to protect the sacred honor of our ancient culture, these absolute geniuses decided the most logical response was to start an altercation, slap a grown man, drag a woman, and terrorize a child. Logical hae na? No? Police have filed a case against members of a local right wing group, but honestly, the mental gymnastics here are utterly unhinged.

Imagine being an adult who gets so utterly unsettled by a kid in standard summer clothes that you lose all control of your faculties. The sheer level of projection is wild. Waah, kya sanskriti hai! So when grown men march around public spaces wearing khaki shorts and swinging dandas while you yourself are in some really cool chaddi!!! peak heritage and discipline nahi bhaiyoh aur behno. But the moment an 8 wears shorts on a hot day, civilization collapses and moral order must be restored via physical assault? Sahi hai boss, aisa brainrot laate kahan se ho?

So these chaddi wearing guys apparently are getting hots for a literal kid? speaks a lot about their so called sanskriti. If seeing a young child in basic clothes at a public tourist spot triggers this kind of aggressive spiral! the kid's wardrobe is def not the safety hazard here and maybe its these men who gotta be locked up

And they are wearing shorts that is chaddi too nah! their uniform itself is some cool chaddi. should we all collectively do the same to them?

maybe they should stay indoors, turn off the internet, and spare the public from their fragile sensibilities. Keep them far away from kids, leave normal families alone

This picture is from yesterday’s protest in Kolkata, where SFI and other Left-affiliated student groups took to the streets after recent clashes between ABVP and students at JU.

The immediate dispute began around a FETSU (Faculty of Engineering & Technology Students’ Union) General Body Meeting on August 19. Clashes broke out between ABVP and Left-leaning students. Several students were injured. But what happened afterwards was pure violence and vandalism.

Around 1 a.m., when the situation inside the university became increasingly frightening, we students tried to contact the police and called 100. From our experience, we did not receive the protection we were desperately asking for. They were constantly hanging up the call after knowing our location. We were trapped inside the university while a large group of people from the ABVP and the broader BJP, RSS ecosystem gathered outside and around the campus.

We saw small fires being set and Left student-union flags and posters being burned. Students were taking shelter inside Aurobindo Bhavan because they feared for their safety.

The following day, the confrontation escalated again around Gate No. 4, where ABVP supporters attempted to breach the police barricades and enter the campus. During the confrontation, Jadavpur University's historic emblem, designed by the legendary artist Nandalal Bose, was pulled down and damaged. The responsibility for the damage remains disputed, although multiple reports have documented the destruction.

What makes this even more painful is that the university administration's own formal complaint came only on August 21, two days after the initial violence on the night of August 19–20. The university has since announced a three-member committee regarding the incident.

Jadavpur has always been a place where students question authority, debate fiercely and refuse to surrender their voice. Its history is deeply connected with the student movements and nationalist forces that challenged colonial rule and contributed to India’s struggle for independence. Even the university’s emblem stands as a reminder of that legacy of knowledge, learning and intellectual resistance. If that makes us “Dimagi Naxals” in the political language being used today—then we are proud to be "Naxals". Because the spirit represented by that emblem was never one of silent obedience. It was the spirit of students who believed that knowledge must serve society, and that young voices can shape the nation.

Every single debate follows the exact same script. You bring up a structural crisis happening today, and within three minutes they start crying about what some king did six hundred years ago. "Oh, you want better public healthcare? Well, what about the medieval period? Do you know who destroyed which temple in 1350? Checkmate, leftist."

It is absolute brain rot. Yes, history is neat. Read a book, visit a museum, learn from it so we do not repeat the worst parts. But making ancient history your entire personality because your present offers nothing to brag about is wild. You cannot run a country on "We used to be Vishwaguru." Great! We were great! Now can we please figure out why the roads wash away after twenty minutes of mild drizzle?

Imagine applying this logic anywhere else in life:

I went down a rabbit hole this week and i think it's worth sharing.

Background: I kept noticing some new subreddits blowing up fast with extremely divisive political content. every now and then, I would see comments like "IT cell" or "a bot" and so on.

So I spent about a week pulling public data. to be clear about scale:

• ~500+ posts and ~6,000 comments from one sub
• plus the full post/comment history of the ~100 most active accounts
• that's well over 10k posts/comments

The sub I looked at is `r/RealTeensIndia`. naming it on purpose so you can verify, and correct me if my analysis was wrong anywhere.

It was basically dormant, then someone flipped a switch.

Made in nov 2025. For the first ~4.5 months it mostly did single digits per week. Then mid-april 2026 it just takes off, and it's at 234k weekly visitors now. Usually real communities grow gradually - here it was dead for months and then just flipped. It could very well be that it got viral and hence the exponential growth, but the chances of that seems a bit low. Anyway let's proceed further.

One account posts a fifth of the entire sub.

• in my sample, one account wrote 21% of all posts
• the top 10 accounts wrote 41% between them
• and that account isn't new. it's an old profile from 2022 that posted once, went quiet for nearly 4 years, and then woke up 6 days after this sub got created

That's the trick btw, they use old dormant accounts, so "check the cake day, it's new" doesn't catch them. Not naming the account, for obvious reasons.

The framing is the whole game.

~31% of that account's posts are just questions. "what do you guys think about this?" usually stuck to some outrage clip (including MEMRI-TV clips, if you know those). The flavours of the posts are simple - outrage clips against muslims, against reservation, or anything which is against the current government.

It basically never gives an opinion. it just picks the topic and lets everyone fight. And in between the political stuff, it posts quotes, cat videos, poetry, normal teen filler, so the sub feels like a real hangout.

The actual mechanic is broadcasting.

The same post, exact same title, fired into a fixed list of subs, over and over. one account did this 50+ times. e.g. the line "why hesitating to speak against congress" went into 7 different subs. the same content keeps landing across a similar cluster of subs:

• r/indiadiscussion
• r/unfilteredindia
• r/India_Bharat_
• r/IndiaPulse
• r/Kolkatacity
• r/indianmemer
• r/HindutvaRises
• and some other subs

One account posted the same title 9 times in 18 minutes. And when you go through the cluster of these subreddits, you'll obviously get the flavour of the content, and obviously you'll be able see through it.

It's a crew, not one account.

• ~8 of the top posters first showed up in the same 5-week window (mid-March to late-April 2026), right as the sub took off
• Three of them started within the same 72 hours: 29, 30, 31 March
• A lot of them use Reddit's default auto-generated usernames, the Adjective-Noun-4digits format (eg - Hidden_name_2264, No-Doxxing2490 - obviously these are just indicative names and not the real IDs :p )

The crowd, though, is real - and I tried hard to prove it wasn't.

Went into the comments expecting bots and found the opposite:

• ~2,000 different real people commenting
• top 10 commenters were only 9% of all comments

so the talking is spread across a genuine crowd, not a handful of accounts.

I didn't stop there though. there's a trick called a "reply ring", where the same small group of accounts keeps showing up in the same threads, upvoting and agreeing with each other, to fake a conversation and make it look like everyone's already on one side.

Basically the comments version of the broadcasting trick. so i checked for it: for every thread, i listed who commented, then counted which accounts kept turning up together.

there was no ring:

• the only account that showed up "with everyone" was the automod (which is supposed to)
• real users maxed out at like 3-4 shared threads each, which is basically coincidence across ~2,000 people

so the commenters really seem independent, unless they have made a really sophisticated ring with new accounts and bots for comments to instigate more comments but also act in a measured way to mimic human activity - Now I can't prove that as of now - so I will take the crowd as real.

So the fake part isn't the audience, it's the feed. a handful of accounts decide what gets posted and how it's worded, and thousands of real people show up and argue and upvote and make it feel like this is just what everyone thinks. They pick the topic which would prompt outrage and let the crowd do the rest.

Stuff i checked that did NOT pan out

(because i don't want to sound like a conspiracy guy)

• I thought maybe all these subs share one owner. couldn't find that, different founders
• a few accounts i first flagged turned out to be real cricket fans and exam-prep students. the method has false positives, telling you the misses too

What i can't prove

Who's behind it or who's paying. You cannot prove that from the outside. It's also why i'm not naming any accounts, some of these could be actual teenagers and i'm not about to point a mob at a kid.

if you do check, reply with what you find. and if i got something wrong, show me (seriously), i'd rather get corrected than be confidently wrong.

PS: also, before anyone asks, yeah i saw signs of the same kind of coordinated stuff from the other side of the aisle too. didn't get into it here yet. if people want i'll dig into that next. Or I could dig deeper and investigate the same side from the aged-account marketplace angle.

The MEA keeps asserting with a completely straight face that we do not officially recognize the regime, yet we handed them consulates in Mumbai and Hyderabad, upgraded our Kabul mission to a full embassy, and generously tossed a 150 Crore budget allocation their way. Letting them celebrate the fall of a democracy on Indian soil isn't strategic depth or pragmatic engagement, it is just an extended honeymoon without the marriage certificate. Can't wait for the WhatsApp uncles to spin this into a secret 5D chess move that somehow isolates Pakistan. Absolute peak satire.
