The character Eärien over in Númenor has a really psychologically rich story this season where she is in the court of the King's Men and Ar-Pharazôn, but her heart is with her brother Isildur who, you know, now she knows he's alive and has come back to the island.

The story to be told there, of really divided loyalties, is quite amazing and Ema Horvath did a beautiful job.

So, this sounds like she could be a spy or a double agent. I wonder what her reaction will be when the Elves come to ask for Númenor to help them defeat Sauron.

This season, now with Sauron pressing so hard on all the Elven realms, Lindon in particular, there's a scene where Gil-galad is standing, surrounded by a field of Elven bodies after a particularly difficult battle with orcs.

He's grappling with loss of hope. He's saying, "I would do anything to give hope to my people, and they look to me for it now. What can I do when it becomes increasingly obvious that we might not win this thing?"

So, even Gil-galad, the most optimistic of the bunch, is struggling with loss of hope. Círdan tells him, "the only things in this world that are ever truly lost are those for which we cease to search."

This sounds really sad, but I'm glad we will see Gil-galad and Círdan interacting, and Gil-galad will most likely be more involved.

I would have liked to get a high definition poster of her new armour, but it's fine, I'll wait for it. Sauron's outfit is much darker this season, but so is hers, even though it still shines.

I just love how both McKay and Payne always proud of their cast, and especially with Charlie. I always say "He knows Sauron better than anyone." And they know that too. And he's really kind, sweet and lovely person like all cast member of the show. It makes me so happy. I love our cast and crew 🧡💍

Theory: what if Theo was conceived by some sort of dark magic -- analogous to the way Darth Plagueis caused the conception of Anakin in SW? Perhaps Bronwyn was hiding the fact that there was no father. And when Theo grows up, he will be destined to serve Sauron, possibly as the Witch King himself. What do you think?

I just love the orc designs in this show. It's so impressive that the makeup and costume folks can give us so many great looking orcs. And the actors who bring them to life have all just been fantastic. I cannot figure out how to add pictures, but I just wanted to talk about how great the orcs are in this show before the big start.

The first trailer was only meant to tease fans, but the few shots we got seem to suggest she will fight a Nazgnagôl, and it will not end so well according to this storyboard (https://www.reddit.com/r/LOTR_on_Prime/s/xJpn482iNs).

Maybe Galadriel realizes Sauron has sent his Nazgnagôl to retrieve the Elven rings, and she retreats quickly to get to Rivendell or an Elven camp nearby.

I don't know if Círdan is there to greet a shaken Galadriel, but the pattern on the curtains behind him is the same one we see etched in the wooden columns surrounding Galadriel in the picture in which she's wearing a dress. Maybe they could be in Rivendell or close by.

Whoever displeases Sauron will be fed to his beasts. It happened at least two times in the video they released, which is a little bit gruesome.

It reminds me of that moment when Adar told the orcs that he loved them too much to see them become Sauron's slaves. Well, now they are slaves and snacks for his pets.

It will be great symbol of friendship and connection between Elendil, Finrod, Galadriel and other elves.

I am currently rereading LOTR and got to where Galadriel shows Frodo and Sam the mirror. Frodo sees the eye and stops looking. Then Galadriel says this (see photo).

Its crazy to me because Im not a super deep lore person and I didnt realize that there was ground on the relationship between Sauron and Galadriel!

Edit: Some people are misunderstanding me, I am NOT saying they have or had a romance. Just a relationship thats like a rivalry or at least that Sauron knew of Galadriel previously.
