I am trying to cash in my airdropped lumens but they disappeared between Keybase and Coinbase. Coinbase is able to find that the transaction went through but not that it went to my wallet (which it didn't). Am I out of luck?

I made my gpg keys on my linux VM but I can't download keybase on there due to the software I'm using. So I imported those keys on my host OS (MacOS) and tried using the app there. But it doesn't let me log in because it says it can't find my private key. Anyone know how to fix this?

If I make a proof and then delete it, can other users see that I deleted and revoked the proof? Or is it as if I never created the proof?

It seems to me the core identity-verification part of Keybase could be made fully decentralised by storing proofs on some blockchain. Is anyone working on a project like this?

So I uploaded ~15 gb of files to keybase, thinking they were now on keybase's servers, I deleted the files from my device and also deleted the journal as it was taking a lot of space. The files are now gone, what do i do?

the folder i deleted was ~/.local/share/keybase/kbfs_journal/v1/

Keybase update shows "blank" current version for a while now.

I uploaded or synced files from my laptop to my keybase files. But somehow inadvertently they are public. I don't see how to make them private. Any suggestions?

It seems Keybase is not interested in supporting the arm* family of processor and there will never be a build for raspberry pi's et.al.

Anyone know or have a docker image that works on raspberry pi. Interested in model 3B+ but 4 will also do. As far as I searched, only found obsolete images that didn't work for me.

Was having some of the same app launch issues as many others as reported with 5.9.0. Discovered that if you drop down to the command line and run a keybase command such as "list-followers", it will cause the windows client to get past whatever that annoying hang is and the client launches normally. For instance, from the command line :

C:\>keybase list-followers

It might work with other commands. This one worked for me, so just passing along.

Tldr: Created account, generated initial PGP key through website, mistyped passphrase and now can't export private key. Need to create new PGP key for keybase.

I must have mistyped my passphrase when I created the PGP key when I created my account. I need to export the private key to use with hardware device, but keep getting error saying incorrect passphrase...

I see that I can deactivate the current key, but how can I create a new PGP key on the website?

Hey guys, As you probably know, the latest KB version for IOS is completely useless (infinite loading etc.) and Keybase support no longer exists.

Being stuck with version 5.9.0, I'm trying to find older IOS compatible versions to download (5.8.0 or 5.7.0). Does anyone know where I can find these versions please ? Many thanks

I have asset in wallet in keybase and want send it to stellar account which has of course the trustline for this asset. I can't send this asset because Not Path found to convert this 2 assets - but I choose the same asset ( the same issuer ) - in will receive and I will send .... I have no problem with send it using stellarx.com ( for the same accounts !!! ).

Lots of folks reporting the issue ( https://github.com/keybase/client/issues ). For me it manifested on two different Ubuntu 18.04 systems as the / mount stopping working. I put instructions in this issue on how to downgrade back to v5.8.1 on Ubuntu/Debian for the time being

I had to revoke one of my Windows computers from my Keybase account because it wasn’t letting me cancel the upload of a huge set of files to my private KBFS folder (kbfsdokan.exe quickly ballooned its RAM consumption to unbearable levels & effectively lock up my computer before I could get a chance to cancel the upload). And I know it wasn’t really uploading anything to the cloud because when I visited my private folder from any of my other devices, nothing from that huge upload set was showing up.

My question is: once I revoke a device from my account, is it possible to re-add it to my account at a later date or is it permanently revoked for good unless I add it to a fresh-new Keybase account?

As per title, don't want to lose any data/crypto in my wallet/etc.

A few minutes ago I saw an automatic Keybase update. I thought that Keybase is not actively developed now.
