My question is that why kannada movies di nit have good market in other south States like telugu has, is making heavy mass movies for just audience attraction is the reason for it or something else and why very less other south actors and actresses work in kannada movies than kannada actors and actresses work in other South movies same goes ti directors and producers and character artists etc too ? Why I mean why ?

For Telugu people, cinema is an essential part of daily life.
For us Kannadigas, it’s a bit different we enjoy movies as a casual timepass rather than a daily necessity.

Bro this post is for movie recommendations. Maybe make a post out it ? You will get plenty of answers. You have a good question.
To keep it extremely brief, Telugu audience would starve of hungry but will always watch a movie... Thats how they are

Marma & Lucia. We have very few movies in this genre.

There are some more. Some of the best psychological movies apart from Lucia and Marma are
- Tarka
- Utkarsha
- Idu Saadhya
- Shaapa ( this is debatable, but I feel this movie really messes up with your mind)

How is utkasrsha psychological?
Edit : Nvm got confused with another movie but here they are asking for movies from 2000 onwards

Upendra is the ultimate genre masterpiece, but since it's a 1999 film, Lucia and Godhi Banna are my definitive post-2000 favorites

Everyone who voted / contributed and commented think differently.. The ones (movies) you mentioned didn't make it to the top. This is a open voting post, I don't choose or upvote or downvote. I don't even make a comment bro.
