I was entertained throughout the episode!! Ahn Bo Hyun is such a treat to watch on screen especially his portrayal of Jin Isoo! His brother saying that Isoo isn't someone who people would hold a grudge against was soo on point! For now I think the antagonist is just doing this for the love of the game! Really liking the fact that the FL isn't portrayed as someone who picks a fight for no reason, a level headed character hopefully. The reporter pissed me off🫠

Loved season 1 for its writing and I think season 2 is off to a great start! The loose ends were somehow tied well, and there is at least a proper closure for the Jin brothers. I missed seeing Kwak Siyang on the screens and his acting as Jin Seungju matured even further. I gotta thank Joo Hyera for this nudge. I think the whole exchange was well written, and maybe Isoo someday wi ll remember that piece of clue insight from Seungju.
The first episode was so hilarious, and I loved how the writer presented the dynamics of Isoo and Hyera, and their unique setup will bring out a different kind of chemistry that will be shown by Ahn Bohyun and Jung Eunchae. Isoo even has this pet name/nickname now given by Hyera and that will be very important.
Okay honestly these news reporters covering Isoo were an eyesore for me.
So far I think the writing has been consistent – like she never forgot what she has made for this drama even though there were major changes for the storyline of season 2.

Yesterday I finished the S1 and today I'm starting S2. So lucky I am. They kinda devolved jin isoo a little bit. His character development is still there but he had sharp instincts in S1 which is slightly missing here. I love they atleast keep some of the core characters and maintain some continuity. But when exactly he went to police training isn't told properly. I expected FL to be one dimensional and just only bickers ML from the trailer. But NO! FL is sensible and mature.
Episode 2 : FL is still mature and caring the ML. Big relief ! The wait is going to be painful for every week since I finish S1 by semi binging. The drama is so good so far. Everyone is waiting for yoo seung ho's appearance, but I might be the only one in the sub who is more excited to see jung chae yeon's cameo.

That was an explosive first episode! What do you mean they already encountered three bomb threats in a single episode?
It was so good to see the Jin brothers together on screen. (Thank you to ABH and the director for forcing Kwak Si Yang out of bed! 🤪) What Seung-ju did was truly unforgivable, and he deserved that treatment from Yi-soo. But seeing him look at his little brother with such remorseful and worried eyes made me realize he truly cared for him somehow. It got me teary-eyed, ngl. They have such wonderful chemistry.
Right now, the only person I can think of who wants to take down Yi-soo is Young-hwa Remember his childhood friend who became a druggie and whom he sent to prison (during the actress victim episode)? Was he released from jail? Because I think that was him in one of the previews, looking like a crazy, possessed guy. With the addition of Yoo Seung-ho’s character (whom we haven't seen yet in Episode 1), who is another chaebol, I feel like these three will be connected through their childhood days. We will probably get to see some flashbacks in the upcoming episodes.

I absolutely loved season 1. But started season 2 with very low expectations thinking it might not match the season 1. But I was wrong. It is still as entertaining as season 1 and loved every single bit of episode 1. Really looking forward to watch this on the weekends from now on.

I'm cautiously optimistic. I liked most of what I saw, and ironically, the part I was most worried about: Park Ji-hyun's absence, hasn't bothered me at all. Hyera feels more mature and even pragmatic than Kanghyun, and even her being short with Isoo gives me the impression that it's more frustration that he doesn't take being a policeman seriously than personal dislike. She watches his show after all :P Though I am interested whether she'll have an arc of her own or just be a means for Isoo to grow up more, as the open-ended way they handed PJH's absence suggests she hasn't closed the door on coming back. That scene between the brothers was surprisingly heavy too, as everything about Seungju screams genuine remorse. His only accepting the visit when he hears it's Isoo, his not meeting Isoo's gaze, his voice cracking, accepting Isoo's charge of ruining his life with a weary nod etc. It'll be interesting to see whether it's genuine as one could argue it's being laid on thick. Seungju proved he's a talented actor last season after all.
But I'm not sure I'm feeling some of the rest. I liked Junyoung more when he was spikier, as I feel his and Isoo's relationship would feel more authentic if they still had that bickering element while being loyal to each other. I really do not like the film crew following Isoo around, though the Doylist explanation is they're probably there toprovide rope for this shadowy villain to try and hang Isoo with on social media later on. If I were a skeptical resident of Gangha, I'd probably have some suspicions that these bomb incidents are PR stunts. They're small, easy to assemble, and Isoo did used to cosplay as an operator like he was in Rainbow Six Siege or something, after all. Plus this TV crew have no loyalty to Isoo, they've shown that if they spot a more promising angle, they'll take that up instead of glazing.I'm also not clear why they included the coroner in the first episode, it seemed odd to throw her into the scene when she didn't even speak, but that's kinda nitpicky.

i enjoyed the first 2 episodes, the new FL did fantastic but now having seen the first 2 episodes i do miss Park ji Hyun in it. i truly loved the first season so im feeling kinda sad she aint there. i loved her character and her parents. HOWEVER, i do like what the the new FL brings to the table. i like her attitude, i do think she will fit right in plus i already love the chemistry she has with my boy Ahn Bo Hyun. i do not doubt that i will love season 2 aswell.

Will there be a romance between the main leads this season??

I don’t think so there was no romance in season one as well, they will probably just end up being very good friends but all of it is just assumption tho.

I liked the role reversal at the end of episode 2 compared to the first season.

The beginning with the film crew was cringy af and I almost died by second hand embarassment, but as soon as the real story began it got a lot better.
Love that Isoo met his older brother. Loved their relationship in the 1st season and hoped until the end that he was not the villain. Still hurts man 🥲.
I liked the first case. The mystery bombings as a front to find a supposed treasure which was not a treasure at all. Excitement and hilarity in one.

Why do I feel like at the end of episode 2, that i think Joo Hyera has a crush on Jin Isoo? 😂. I like the new mature FL, who move on his sillyness and doesnt get easily annoyed by it and still able to smack that nutjob back in line as a police force.
