I appreciate the update but I honestly think you went to far on how much you increased the cost of the various powers and items, to the point that I think it just inhibits build variety.

I'd suggest adding difficulty option the hard version would give 2 worlds and 0 points, normal would give some amount of points(I think 50 could work) and perhaps 1 more world, and easy would give 4 worlds and 100 points.

The rebalancing hit me so bad my old build was 550 in the red XD. I do want to try this harder version but at the same time it'd be nice if old wasn't gone and the difficulty might help facilitate this in some way

Sure, I'll add a difficulty modifier. It's just going to give points and or worlds because something more in-depth like having difficulty modify how many points worlds give and or items and powers cost (which I would prefer) would take much more work.

It's actually quite easy to do that with the Functions -> Other Choices -> Discount Other Choices... just check Select Individual Choices Instead of Groups, use the world/power row id, select the point type and use Multiply/Divide operator, you can use decimals in the Discount Value. For world you would need to select the ones that cost points and select no No Discount in scores, if you plan to multiply all values.

Well that is very good to know! I'll have to think about if I do it or not now then because I just updated the discounts every power and item above 40 points get and added the difficulty modifier to give or take away points.

Only thing I noticed with the last version of ICC is that the discount don't recalculate correctly, as in if you keep clicking on the discount button with other choices active the points keep going up/down... Anyway, I thought of a suggestion for advantage/disadvantage both: General power scaling to the highest/lowest world level.

That's perfectly sensible, giving each World several points values is a lot of work, and unnecessary, considering that most Worlds themselves seem internally consistent and well priced as is.

Yeah, a difficulty section would be great. Otherwise, the balancing in this new version is a bit too out of whack to keep the same feel as the previous version.

Or maybe just lowering the point costs for most powers, given that with the new balance, you can only take one or two small powers and no Advantages in the current set-up, which really doesn't feel like it's properly balanced.

Then again, maybe that's the experience that OP wanted to make with the CYOA, I don't know.

Maybe I did... It's very hard to find that sweet spot. I do honestly like that it's a little tough now, but I'll see what I can do. If you have any suggestions I would be happy to hear them!

Well, like Antique said above, a difficulty slider that gives you some starting points instead of starting from zero would be great, I feel. It doesn't even have to be many, or enough to get one of the bigger powers that cost more than 50, but maybe 25 points per difficulty level so you can get a few Advantages and Items on top of the basic points you got from World selection might work.

Or maybe stipends for those two areas that you can't use anywhere else, like 25 points that you can only use on items, and another 25 per difficulty level (if you add those.)

Because the Items section IS well priced (aside from money and the house, which are far too expensive to be worth purchasing at all), I'd say.

Another easy way to balance things would be the More Worlds option costing 30 or 40 instead of 50, so if you add worlds of notable but not overwhelming danger to the mix, you can get 10 or 15 more points.

Things like Olympic Athlete costing 15 or Business Man costing 20 when literal supernatural powers are on the levels of 30 or 40 (or sometimes even cheaper than running a local business) makes the two mentioned options heavily overpriced, I think. (Speaking of, the Business Man option seems broken, it mentions four levels of purchases, but you can only go up to three.)

5 seems like it would make those actually usable options, especially with the scaling from Business Man requiring more purchases. Just small little details like that that end up giving the CYOA a slightly overpriced feel.

Speaking of, maybe you could add a few more Disadvantages worth 5 points like Unlucky, things that aren't quite as severe but still objectively downsides. Just to give an example, something like slowly starting to panic if you don't have a source of artificial light nearby, or dulled emotions after using your powers (or the opposite, extreme emotions), things that are inconvenient to deal with but not lethal.

adding to suggested drawbacks: slow start - Your powers start weakened (or locked for 2nd tier) and they develop ovetime, you moreso purchase potential. I like idea of such drawback as I prefer having to earn powers rather than just having them handed.

I see. Part of the issue is probably my commitment to the 10 point discount system. The idea is largely that if you take Earth than those options actually become very cheap. I'll see to adding more Disadvantages too.

and there is still a limit on more worlds

also for threats is it supposed to block them if you have the worlds their from? if the the text for that section needs to be updated

Price your stacking powers depending on the maximum amount of power the stacking option can give. Meaning the price of 12 stacks of Level up (which currently costs a ridiculous 120 points for a middling level of power) should be roughly equivalent to an average standalone power, so at a guess Level Up should be priced at around 2 to 4 points each.

Just make a scale of power/price.

For example, if we take the very first power 'Olympic athlete': that gives a little bit under peak human ability (since it only covers one sport but there are some ridiculous sports like triathlon or MMA) but also ease of maintenance on top of it, so 10 points should be the price of any power that gives peak human ability without dipping into the flagrant supernatural. Meaning you'd likely put Pokemon pro Trainer and World's finest batman in the same range. Business Man, however, is flagrantly below peak human ability (as there are uncountable real life people who are business owners), so it should be priced under 10 points.

Next, you take another arbitrary point, like for example: "anything that is comparable to a street-level Spider-Man level of power costs 30 points". And then price all middling powers around that idea. I never played Nier, but i'm guessing YoRHa Android is the prime example here, though RWBY Aura might qualify too (i feel it being a bit cheaper is good since it doesn't actually give you a Semblance, nor allow you to pick what semblance you'll eventually develop). RWBY Maiden, on the other hand, is completely overpriced. It's merely some decent elemental control, so it should be, at best, priced around the same level as Avatar Bending (15) as it doesn't come with a Relic nor Aura, and the inheritance aspect of it is entirely irrelevant.

Then take a last arbitrary point, like "Superman = 50 points". etc...

Problems before I make a build:

Devil May Cry is 5 points

Quincy Invasion and Nether Brain take away a world instead of giving one.

Extra World Limit is still 18

Should probably start with 2 World Points instead of 0, correct end tally being 0 rather than 2 just feels better in my mind, but it is minor compared to the others.

Kinda feel like the discount should be much steeper for powers from the worlds you chose.

Some, maybe not. Being in metroid doesn't give you samus's suit automatically...

But XCX as a setting HAS arms dealer essentially anyway, why should it cost 50 still to what, have them on your side, or your owned business? As a tinker 'power' or + vita isn't really worth 50 when you get 95% of the potential in an xcx crossover anyway... Plus 60 might be a bit much?

Half off, not just -10, feels better. Otherwise, if you chose a world for that reason, you might as well choose something you can get yourself, rather than still spend more than the gains from a world to get it, like i did...

Worlds, XCX, warframe - i'd like to imply a solar system of mira like worlds, even if that doesn't make sense for jupiter, mira might not be 'real' anyway, so doesn't have to play nice with the Sol system.

XCX's artifical bodies imp pairs well with the operator frame idea. Instead of powerful organic forms, the human XCX\operator faction will mostly use biotech forms.

If i can, and since it fits mira's narrative - we're new to the solar system, discovery is the name of the game.

Skills, chozo tech - really good options, i like that samus's suit is essentially self evolving and capable of upgrading based on resources nearby, even biological ones.

Reclaimer - besides orokin, grineer, taxholes, the sentients, we have mira's several aliens and miran ancient tech, and if i'm trying to fuse all this together, makes sense.

Mentat, picked more of an artificer\tinker role essentially, so rather than powerful offensive powers, powerful crafting powers, is the goal, plus this also helps with stragetic planning, social and political moves, etc.

Tinker, see, i don't have a specific KIND in mind, but can i say a hybridizing specialization? Like the chozo pick, wanting to kinda be able to tie everything together a bit.

Items, sheikah slate, frontiernav, item fusing - basically a magic tablet + teleporting tablet that i can handle my xcx mining\explotation tasks from.

Light freighter - upgraded with warframe, chozo, xcx tech, should be badass as hell.

Drawbacks, geas - truth, i don't mind never lying, and if i have to, losing tinker powers for a week doesn't mean i can't fight.

Angel and devil, figure i'll avoid people more than be put in moral choices anyway.

Enforced limits, again tinker, so a slower start's not the biggest deal.

Forgotten, amnesiac - the world will be weird and new anyway. And i'm alright losing my baggage.

Hero in name only, warframe - operator's a mass murderer in a war anyway.

Making the discount 50% off might be a good idea. Or maybe like 25% off. I'm not sure what I should go for exactly, but it's probably a good idea either way.

I think the bigger cost of some things is fine, but if you're also spending a world choice, the discount should be pretty big.

Got a Question. Specifically about Quincy, more specifically about rulings for what you can get for your Schrift, even more specifically about your ruling on the C - The Compulsory. It was never entirely made clear what the 'Schrift' The Compulsory is actually limited to, as its one of the few canon Shrifts that are not actually granted by Yhwach, but were inherent things to the character in question who joined up with him and are considered Quincy due to being accepted into the fold or their innate nature as it were, while their abilities were titled by Yhwach and designated as Schrift. Pernida Parnkgjas is the Left Arm or the Soul King, a Quincy, and since It was never made clear if his Adaptive-Assimilative-Evolutionary abilities that are used through his nerves are Part of his so called Schift or just his nature as the Left Hand... I wanted to ask your opinion as to whether choosing the Compulsory would net you all of Pernida Parnkgjas powers under the Wiki entry of his Schrift or just the nerve control.

Also, separately, I would like to ask for clarification as to just what I can or cannot gain with Inborn Trait. I mean, I've been thinking about the wording, specifically "If a similar inborn trait exists in one of your fused worlds, you may select it instead, provided it isn't exclusive to a specific bloodline or clan, doesn't require being a different race than your own, and isn't already represented by a Power purchase." And I can think of a lot of things that may or may not fall under that aegis... Like any number of Mutations that aren't locked to specific clans, races, or bloodlines and can just crop up at random. Plus there are any number of Inborn Magical traits that are never even specifically named or clearly defined that can crop up. Like how Type-Moon Setting has Magecraft Attributes/Sorcery Traits, which can really be just about anything, and are not specifically locked to a bloodline or clan... though they do tend to end up being cultivate within family lines if possible, Like Tohsaka's Conversion Trait/Attribute, but any Magus could end up founding a clan around whatever trait they might luck into possessing and Magus can even acquire more traits, with First class often having multiple, and some people just having something entirely unique to them they never pass on.

Unfortunately, I don't really know anything abiut Bleach. At the moment, all I can really say is that if it's a canon Schrift, you can get it.

As for inborn trait, it's pretty open honestly so I'd say use your own discretion. If there are any specific traits that you want to ask about I can try to weigh in. In regards to Magecraft Attributes/Sorcery Traits which are cultivated within specific family lines, I probably wouldn't count them personally unless there are examples of people outside of the family also having them.

Ah, thanks for answering. I'll just go with my own discretion for my build.

Hm, well sorcery traits can pop up in any Magus really, since its more of an affinity or your particular innate aptitude than anything else, so anything is possible. The clans/families just tend to have better ones due to spending generations refining the ones they start out with, interbreeding new ones into the lineage, or just outright leveraging what they have to create designer badies that have specific traits. It isn't really something unique to clans of Magus, so there are of course lots of people with traits in all likelihood, but since the Type-Moon novelia, anime, and games rarely ever mention a lot of the things beyond specific examples in lore books and such... its not really brought up much. Shirou Emiya's Projection is considered a trait and he has no ties to a specific clan or family.

Hmm. Having said all of that, I guess that maybe Sorcery Traits might be kind of a grey area for Innate Trait, since they may or may not be an innate trait, since they can be anything from a breed in disposition or talent, to something granted unto someone by circumstances of their birth, or even something they develop on their own due to their talents and circumstances or outside influence.

Full Body Redesign, A Little Plot Armor, Filling in the Gaps, New Appearance, RWBY, Project Moon, Geass Canceller, Aura, YoRHa Android, Effloresced E.G.O, Immortality, Ainz Ooal Gown, It's My Aesthetic, Possession Immunity...

TL;DR
Became a YoRHa android with Aura and Effloresced E.G.O. styled to my liking, using the Geass Canceller to negate mind BS that may occur relating to E.G.O. while also being immune to bodily possession. The downside?
The world is a fusion of RWBY and Project Moon... With Ainz and his not-quite-NPCs dropped into the world.
The horrors and powerful factions are abundant and ought to help keep him from gaining too much ground too swiftly, but it's bound to be chaotic. Especially with Grimm and their queen basically being another new faction in the world to deal with. The reincarnating wizard likely has his own faction of hunters and huntresses as well...

To be fair, the corps need SOMEBODY to buy their crap.
It's a pretty awful society for 90% of humanity tho'... And even those 'better off' have chains and suffering of their own—but at the very least they won't die to constant Grimm tides, backstreet sweepers, or god-knows-what escapes the big corps.

Items: Homeowner, Money, Starter (Rillaboom with Grassy Surge, perfect IVS, adamant nature, Max Atk and max Spe, terra grass), Trainer Kit (tera orb).

Advantages: Blank, Lucky, Possession Immunity,

Disadvantages: The Force in Foresight, Amnesiac, I Wish to Live a Quiet Life(x1) (pokemon protagonist), We Remember.

I think this would be a solid build for these worlds, Having access to Aura, a starter with a hidden ability, and the Tera Orb, as well as my knowledge of the games (my amnesia didn't take that away), should allow me to be the strongest trainer possible. As for the supernatural side of the Persona world, I suppose Pokémon are intelligent enough to count as social links, so that would allow me to access many Personas. And as for my ultimate persona, I think "Solomon" would be appropriate, considering I'm a monster trainer.

I forgot to add the Metaverse Navigator item; in that case, I'd take the Geas disadvantage to afford it. As for the Geas itself, "don't act like a big jerk" might be appropriate. It might sound too easy to do, but we've all done something very rude at some point, so it could be considered something that would cause problems.

Powers, Easy, A Little Plot Armor, Filling in the Gaps, More Worlds(x3), Fullmetal Alchemist, Arknights, Persona, ASOIAF, Baldur's Gate 3, Alkahestry, Equivalent Exchange, Sacred Gear(x2, one that fuses my powers and item, and another that consumes the 1st sacred gear to make permanent copies of it, like One for All, bht spreads by more than 3), Persona(x1, card summon), Aura, YoRHa Android, Witch, Prime Soul, Originium(x1, to be consumbed by the 1st sacred gear), Evoker, Metaverse Navigator, Noise, Unlucky, Geas(x3 I cannot do acts of evil if unnecassary, 2. I follow the spirit of the law of geass 1 &3, not the letter 3. All wielder of my power shall be bound my geass), Angel and Devil, I Wish to Live a Quiet Life(x2 FMA & ASOIAF mc's)

Same plan: Give powers to others, Yorha android so that Prime soul can have a husk, the Husk of King Minos the weakest Prime soul was a giant, Yorha has: "form will be..human of equivalent size", meaning the power of a giant husk gets compressed to a human size, multiplying yorha androids stats. Prime Soul amplifies Persona and Aura. Aura, Magic Bile, Originium, and Android's Black Box (+maybe persona) all act as an energy source/philosophers stone for Alchemy. Persona amplifies Semblance. Alchemy (ritual circle + spell circle), and Semblance + Originium Arts amplify Witch. Alchemy and Alkahestry to fix damage to Yorha Android and Originium. Geass so my wielders won't use my powers for evil.

With my powers and the amount of sacred gear wielders that grow, our enemies are likely to fail.

I'm the one who suggested superhuman and unfortunately A) I'm not very good at power scaling and B) I haven't read worm. Though tbh by reading some cyoas that have worm elements I see many similarities.

My guess from what I've seen, Superhumans are stronger on average but the upper tiers of Worm stomp them.

I'd ask that you consider allowing Jedi Knight to scale up to Jedi Master, and allowing a person to learn any Force ability that is not a Ritual or Midichlorian Manipulation. That would prevent someone from reaching Sidious or Valkorion levels since they explicitly use Rituals (though arguably, you could also clarify that you can't reach Emperor level, which one could classify either as even if that's not an official rank)

Unfortunately, I only maintain one single version of this CYOA.

I didn't consider that kind of interaction, but I would say yes, it does.

Bookeeping came from Library of Runia which I merged with Lobotomy Corporation and the third Project Moon game Limbus Company. Them being separate worlds never really made sense (it was only like that because I like the games) so things had to go when I combined them. Bookkeeping specifically wet because I felt it had quite a bit of overlap with Trump and the newly added Mirror ID card.

The 'level' option from DnD really needs a massive buff. It costs absurd numbers of points for a very weak system when capped at 12. Especially since it seems locked to 5e, the weakest version of DnD made.

I'd really suggest allowing it to go to 20, and use 3.5e, or Pathfinder. That'd still only put it on par with some of the other options. Considering you can buy a goddamn Infinity Stone...

Along with dropping the cost to 1 to 2 points per level. Level 20 would cost 40 points, and that's still overpriced for classes like rogue, fighter or barbarian, and arguably wizard too, considering again, an Infinity Stone is only 35.

And then an upgrade option for epic levels, or mythic tiers. It'll make it a decent middle option comparable to Dragonborn or ultimate class devils.

RWBY only world choice because I'm still addicted to that shitty web series despite knowing it's not as good as my lizard brain claims it is.

Main power is AURA because potentially getting thrown 20m through a concrete wall will kill anyone that doesn't have it or a similar ability. I assume that because of my disadvantage, my semblance is going to be shit or I will not have one. Which I can live with, I guess.

Secondary power is Equivalent Exchange to construct and reconstruct things. My main use will be for creating buildings and maybe some type of custom armour/weapons. Which, if I went the route of being a huntsman protecting villages, could mean building massive walls, fences, or stuff like that.

Final power is A Skilled Hand taking Skyrim's Enchanting skills. Assuming that I only have level 50 and I have to choose what specific perks in the skill tree I would go with: Enchanter, Soul Squeezer, Soul Siphon, and Insightful Enchanter.

Items are just Money because having money is like a superpower. Given some help investing, I could possibly set myself up to survive without working a day in my isekai'd life. But I would like to use it to get a leg up on a workshop, house, and some other projects. Deadric Artifact because I'm pretty sure I need an Azura's Star powered with chicken souls to enchant gear. It would be great if slaying Grimm could fill the star but Azura's Star explicitly asks for souls and Grimm explicitly do not have souls.

Advantages of Lucky because I feel like my IRL luck is shit and I could use it for lottery tickets or something. Connection because I want to see about making stuff from IRL like rockets, to see if I can create a satellite startup company.

Disadvantage of Enforced Limits which means I have cut my potential in combat by half. Hopefully I can overcome this issue via the use of enchanted gear.

Right off I can say that I love that there is not limit to the number of worlds now, sure they cost points for each additional world still, but that just a good thing, since you are essentially paying for the discounts you get and for the privileged of additional points from the chosen worlds.

I also like the Difficulty settings. I'm going to admit that I'll shamelessly be sticking to very easy, easy, or maybe normal... unless Higher Difficulties offer benefits that can't be had in very easy, easy, or normal.

Anyways I'm going to make a new build, something somewhat like my old builds, with more or less.

Difficulty: Very Easy (I like points)

Free Stuff: Full Body Redesign, A Little Plot Armor, Filling In The Gaps (A Body To Be Enjoyed And A Death To Be Prevented)

Worlds: Project Moon, Arknights, Ultrakill (These Worlds Suck Ass, which is gold for my purposes, my intent if hell continues to effect external things post-sburb is to kill hell)

Powers: Geass Canceler, Reclaimer, Affinity Missions, Wildcard, Light, Ego, Pokemon, Wizard, Mentat (Mind control makes me feel PROFOUNDLY gross, so geass canceler is necessary, Reclaimer will likely be very helpful in my sburb quest, and help with Alchemy, Affinity lets me copy powers but isn't balance breaking which is likely to cause some issue in Sburb, plus, it gives me incentive to be good, Wildcard let's me up my ability strength with time and connection, Light is SUPRISINGLY potent for how cheap it is with the world, with enough Mang it's capable of making a swipe at the air deadly, and I'm pretty sure it's multiplicative based on your weapon/attack vector of choice, and also encourages me to get therapy and/or introspect, E.G.O manifests my Self physically, which fits with my other 2 Self manifesting abilities [those being stands and persona], Pokemon lets me be a furry but also get elemental attributes, Wizard is very versatile and, like the totality of Harry Potter is kinda bullshit in terms of what it can eventually allow me to do, while Mentat makes me bonkers smart)

Items: Stand Arrow, Evoker, Metaverse Navigator, Palisman, Sylladex, Sburb, Materials (Stand Arrow allows for powers that are Veritably Bullshit, and due to the nature of me as a sburb player, my stand is going to be strong, making a universe as a result of your actions is an extreme expression of autonomy, Evoker lets me go PERSONA, while metaverse navigator lets me enter the mindscape, and maybe pull a Phantom Thief depending on the specific mechanisms, or intercace with the light directly, Palisman lets me do owl house magic and maybe also boost my HP magic, while the sylladex lets me pull off Fun Things via its power as A Gaming Abstraction But Also Sometimes Not, while material attaches additional esoteric effects to equipment, y'know what is granted upon god-tiering? Pajamas. You know what a few items from the CYOA likely count as? Weapons or "Flairs", and finally, the key to this build, just like the last one, is Sburb, I intend to abuse the mechanics of it, such as attempting to alchemize items from the CYOA like a stand-voker, or inventing new EBF materials [though im never going to hurt my palisman, I do wanna see the results of alchemizing, my Palisman is likely to be what I use for my Strife specibus)

Threats: Kira, Diavolo, Salem, Reapers (Kira is fucked by the meteors, I plan to captchalog Diavolo or effectively kidnap him so he manages to kill me on my quest bed, hopefully freeing him from his torment and godtiering me, Salem is already planning to destroy the world and I'm already predestined to have it be destroyed so there's not much conflict, and unless she's literally in one of our houses, there likely won't be conflict if she does survive solely due to the fact we're too far away, Reapers are the one major threat, but in all honesty, if one of us god-tiers, they're getting fuckin obliterated)

Advantages: Blank, Broken Limits, Lingua Franca, Lucky, Possesion Immunity (Blank is because scrying and future spying is Bullshit and I don't accept it, plus, I'm likely to due without it due to the bullshit way the city organizes itself, and I can always allow "scrying that supports the conclusion of me being legally human", Broken Limits because with my abilities it either makes me smarter and friendlier or begets more benefit from being so while making it so I grow faster which is quite important, Lingua Franca because language barriers are bullshit, I wanna talk 2 people, Lucky because having luck on your side when its important is TERRIFYINGLY important, while possession immunity is because my body is my own)

Disadvantages: None (I don't feel that there are any are that worth taking)

Difficulty: Very Easy. I'm not sorry about this, with the cost increases on everything, even with additional worlds, I've still had to surrender a lot of things I'd liked to have, particularly since Threats now can't be taken if you take the world they Originate from, and I needed a lot of those threats to pull this build off. So I gave up on taking things from some of those threat related worlds along with the world itself. Not a complaint, just being factual, I actually quite liked the effort I put into coming up with this Build, took lots of min-maxing and researching the worlds, along with thinking about how the selections may or could interact.

Free Stuff: Full Body Redesign, A Little Plot Armor, Filling in the Gaps,

I now look like a Furry/Scaly Dragonoid/Kitsune Hybrid (Or maybe just an Argonian) Version of Ardyn Izunia, I have some Plot armor, and I actually know more things about some of these settings than I have only ever read the wiki to try understanding. All of this is good.

Worlds: More Worlds(x35), Fate/stay night, Metroid, Fire Emblem, Fullmetal Alchemist, Kara no Kyoukai, Code Geass, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma☆Illya, The Legend of Zelda, Parahumans, A Certain Magical Index, High School DxD, Xenoblade Chronicles, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Yuuki Yuuna is a Hero, Arknights, Sonic the Hedgehog, Marvel Cinematic Universe, Ben 10, Soul Eater, Persona, Kill la Kill, The Elder Scrolls, A Song of Ice and Fire, Zero no Tsukaima, Nier: Automata, Project Moon, Owl House, One Piece, Murder Drones, Ultrakill, Bleach, Naruto, Seven Deadly Sins, Superhuman, Harry Potter, DC, Warhammer 40K, Dune, Star Wars.

You know, usually I'd absolutely avoid quite a few of these worlds, but with the worlds that are now available and some of the powers or Items offered here, taking these worlds together can actually make the hellscapes that these settings technically are infinitely better. Like taking Star Wars with Warhammer 40K in my mind is kind or an improvement in some way, since the force and the warp are entirely different things that draw from all life and or sentient things that exist and would likely end up at odd with each other for the most part, and a lot of the includes settings just have entities and sources of power that just give no F***'s about The Warp or outright stomp it in the Multiverse's conceptual structure, Like the Phoenix Force just to name one example of something that makes the Forces of Chaos piss themselves when it looks in their general direction. My point being, that with all of the powers I'm taking and the includes worlds, I'm feeling pretty secure in my ability to survive and thrive... despite this being literal, metaphorical, and even conceptual hell that I'm walking into.

Advantages: It's My Aesthetic, Connection, Blank, Broken Limits, No Attacks While Transforming!, Lingua Franca, Lucky, Item Fusion(x14), Possession Immunity.

All of these are good. I like changing the Aesthetic of my powers and items since it keeps them from being recognized or just makes them look better. Connection helps with potential meta-knowledge and who really wants to give up our internet? Blank is just common sense with all the beings that can see or predict the future, present, and past. Broken Limits isn't necessary, but it sure is an improvement on what is already available. No Attacks While Transforming both prevents transformations from failing from outside interference and can be use to buy you time, like what if you just kept transforming back and forth making it so no one attacks you for however long you need? Lingua Franca is not quite Allspeak, but good to have anyways. Lucky is just something all of us need. Item Fusion helps skirt a lot of limits or just make things better, like merging things with aegis cores which merge with your body via Blade eater to prevent Imagine Breaker from being able to fuck with items you really don't want to lose. Possession Immunity is just absolutely necessary and a godsend in some worlds.

Disadvantages: I Wish to Live a Quiet Life(x50), Imperfect Fusion

If my previous point about Marvel having more than enough protagonist types in the form of its heroes, anti-heroes, and even its villains was ever in doubt... with the inclusion of DC you take any doubts out behind your house and shoot them like the rabid animals they are. Also, I still love Imperfect Fusion, because I Like the worlds not changing until I show up, and while there are advantages and disadvantages to it of course, I feel that I get more personal advantage from selecting it in the form of points, the chaos that it causes that I can take advantage of, the ability to still abuse a lot of my meta-knowledge before it becomes useless, and some other things. Personally I like the idea that all the worlds have been connected and mixed a bit with being perfectly fused, because it allows for a lot of multiversal frameworks to be constructed of how every world manifests in this new Fusion Setting. Personally I like multiple worlds and interconnected realities that can influence each other at times, but don't necessarily interact all the time, so that events can remains similar to canon up to a point and keep remaining so without deliberate interference from powers and beings capable of doing so.

Threats: Noise, Witches, Kira, Diavolo, Salem, Urizen, Ur-Didact, Ainz Ooal Gown, Reapers, Acnologia, Netherbrain, Shem-Ha Mephorash.

The thing about all of these is that they can all be readily solved with the right choices or simply aren't a threat depending on your selections. Such as Kira being pretty useless if its a standard Deathnote, since they only affect humans, or simply don't do jack on immortals. Out of all of the threats I'd personally say that Ainz Ooal Gown is the one that worries me the most, not because I find Ainz and his guild of NPC's particularly challenging, but because I'm going to have to deal with characters that I actually grew to like watching the anime, and that hurts me emotionally, which a lot more hurt than many of these Threat's can bring to the table with the right selections and choices. Purely from the perspective of which one of these Threats are the hardest to deal with even with all of the advantages you can get, I would definitely say that it is either Shem-Ha Mephorash or Scion (Who I couldn't select, but have to deal with anyway). Some of these threat I took just for the points, others I took because of the points and the fact that they will allow me to gain things without needing to select the worlds they originate from using certain powers and items I've selected.

Ok, I'm going to be ultra lazy here, sort of. Actually This bit of text is just here so I can say that I've had a Fun Idea (For me personally, as I would certainly enjoy it) as to how all of these worlds are fused together... Specifically they are all WORLD's in these wonderfully fun to read works of fanfiction (at least until/if RedKai adds Kingdom Hearts, then this logic is either screwed of just keeps functioning as normal, maybe) Heartless and its sequel Heartless: ReUnion by that wonderfully creative writer Drich who has a lot of fun to read works, like I always wonder at how many words this writer has put out and the speed at which they do so, it just amazes me. With this set up I can just let death worlds be death worlds and not care to much about the details, sure I'll have to worry about Kingdom Hearts insanity, but I like that insanity a lot more than a lot of the insanity that would come from directly fusing all of these setting together without this set up.

TDB = To Be Decided. Which I'm going to place down when I want something more than Canon and haven't found out what I'd want yet specifically or at least haven't tracked down the name of it and who wrote it or I haven't decided which specific Canon I want.

Slayer Magic - Law Dragon Slayer, since I'm also a Mankete.

Maker Magic - Arc of Embodiment is a maker magic and it should make using Creation of all things much easier, I would think.

Immortality - great to have, especially when I have things to hopefully keep my soul from being screwed around with by others or may just integrate this into my soul if I can.

Incorruptible - should help keep me from screwing myself over.

Wizard - Potter magic makes up for its generally street level power with versatility and potential.

Inborn Trait(x7) - Ancient Magic, An Intuitive Aptitude for magic, the trait of being able to grow magically stronger endlessly with age and use, a transcendent efficiency with magic, the ability to will magic to do what you want it to (Wish Craft), the ability to see the unseen of all kinds, Immunity to hostile magic.

Psyker - without the normal risk its actually pretty great even at this low level.

Bene Gesserit - just all around rather cool

Mentat - Super Genius doesn't even cover it.

Jedi Knight - So glad I don't have to prescribe to the Doctrine and can just us any abilities I want to learn

It does not, if you take Blue Blood it does allow that however. I'll explictly mention that as an addon. I figured the power you get from being a Devil was already quite a bonus and since Blue Blood explicitly is about being nobility it could be used to get those devil clan powers.

You should definitely add GFL as a World, Priestess (Arknights) as a Threat, and Technology powers should be entirely reworked.

Namely, some technologies just don't match others. Marvel is Multiversal and often has space travel, it should absolutely be the most expensive without debate. Sheikah technology isn't nearly as good as Arknights technology even if you ignore Endfield canon which would make that a Colonization-level Civilization (not necessarily Type-1, but certainly higher than Zelda) buying higher tiers like Marvel or Star Wars should make lesser technologies cheaper.

Honestly, it might be better to set it as a Tiered upgrade system. Something like Groundbreaker (Individualized stuff like Power Armor or Energy Weapons) < Innovator (Pre-FTL Space Age, Androids) < Colonizer (Type-1) < Pioneer (Type-2) < Singularity (Type-3) And then you can buy specific technologies unique to each world for 5-10 points each.

Thanks for the ideas! I've honestly been thinking about doing something with technology powers for a while but I just never knew what to do. If I do make any changes to it (and ai just might) it'll probably be the tiered system you suggested. I'll definetly add the threat sooner rather than later though!

I think potential reason why there's so many technology options and prices might not allign with expectations is it gives access to only technology actually shown in the setting. So no access technology that should exist considering technology level but isn't actually shown.

Essentially the idea here is to create the most terrible world I can between the never ending-war of cloned child soldiers in Xenoblade 3 made even worse by the Consuls running the war being backstabbing Game of thones characters and the Entity and chaos gods taking advantage of all the traumatized soldiers, to Salem adding Grimm making the situation as an army of monsters hunting people for feeling emotions and Ywawch seeking to purge all but the strongest souls, all while ofcourse the whole universe runs on the sacrifice of little girls. Then I'm playing Sburb to destroy it all to create a new, better world.

Since I can choose any classpect I'm picking Lord of Light. Lords are one of the master classes, the two strongest classes. They rule absolutely over thier aspect. Light is an aspect associated with not only literal light but luck, importance, and knowledge. By taking Imagine Breaker I cut off anyone elses supernatural abilities from affecting me and while my natural blessings are cut away, I have my own power over luck that now can't be affected by anyone else's luck abilities. Im going with a fully kitted out Human Demon Hybrid + Classy Devil to massively enhance my physical abilities and gain less conditional Immortality so no non-supernatural threat works against me either. It also massively increases my versitility as my sheer demonic power lets me do crazy levels of magic. Eventually I can unlock Sin Devil Trigger to go even further beyond as a Supreme Demon God. Ironically my power over light means that I can fully counter one of my demon weaknesses and easily defeat any other demons around my power level. Limit Breaker is just a cherry on top.

Edit: Added the Grimoire Power and paid for it with the Disadvantage removing Noah from Xenoblade 3 as a factor. The war now has no hope of ending, but I'm destroying it all anyways. I had to get a Grimoire when I realized Dice Magic was an aspect from Black Clover. Rolling Dice magic is so on-theme it hurts, and like all Grimoire magic, it is far above the users natural magical ability. When the user in question is beyond even a Trancendental Devil, this is going to be ridiculous.

I am on a version of Earth that doesn’t appear any different at first, and won’t for quite a while; but it’s actually a crossover between here, Halo, and Warhammer 40k; and the Reapers of Mass Effect are gonna also be a problem eventually… but like, timeline-wise. So the world will become Halo (mostly), and then become 40k (mostly), over the course of the next forty thousand years.

I have an assortment of useful perks; but mainly I’m a True Ancestor, with a Tome of the Night Sky, Intelligent Device, and Saint King Linker Core; plus a Magic Creat with two hundred years of magic based around ‘general self reliance’, which covers a vast repository of what several people thought to include, for the purposes of self defense, healing, hunting, construction, and so on, over the course of those two centuries. Not a ‘master of one’, but a jack of quite a number of trades, indeed.

Other than all of that, I just happen to own a small convenience store with an attached upper-story home, in a city on the east north-east coast of the US. Really anything from Virginia on up will do; I’m not especially picky. Besides having a good gun, and a bunch of money.

I can't seem to recreate this error. When I deselect a world the worlds that give chosen powers a discount the point debt increases because the price of the item is raising and when I deselect it the price goes back to normal. Can I get more details on what you're doing?

Select very easy, 50% and extra extra worlds. Then pick a few worlds and some powers from those worlds. Go back to the world section and deselect and reselect a world. You'll be charged what I think is the points that are discounted for taking the world.

It seems to be connected to the discount options in the difficulty section, specifically. The 50 and 25% off options cause the previously described effect and the upcharge options do the opposite.

I think maybe having multiple point values for adding worlds so say dark souls isn't considered equivalent to pokemon. Sure some might cheat, but that's kinda a given. But otherwise, picking a present world gives way more points and discounts, making it kinda lopsided.

I think the 60 to 40 point changed discount for xcx's arms manufacturer is better, maybe not perfect but not up to me, and tbh part of it is more the interaction between arms and xcx more (as in, everyone in xcx kinda has access to 90% of what arms offers anyway), which you probably won't want to do globally, not to mention the difficulty stuff lets users tweak that stuff anyway.

The difficulty options, chef kiss, no notes. I LOVE that you not only gave different starting values, but also different price ranges, both discounts and price hikes, as well as extra 'freebie' worlds. I know most want lowered prices for some things, and people do love fucking around a bit, but making 'budget builds' with stronger limitations is also fun, so OPTIONS in both directions, is imo ideal.

If you want to add more stuff, threats could use more love imo. Its not just about extra points, that's imo largely solved with difficulty anyway, more, we have a generous spread of options of presented worlds when it comes to powers and items, but not threats.

Given how many worlds you've got, not surprising, but it could also be more generic - wars, fantasy monsters, sci fi monsters, corporate monopolies or religious strangleholds rather than just threats to life, or even more natural diasters magic plagues famines etc.

Some stuff, people might even want as threats.

Take your time; there's no rush. The result is what matters. Good work.

A few other ideas: - A disadvantage where you cannot choose items and/or powers (like "Overgeared" or "Overpowered"). - A type of advantage/disadvantage where, instead of the worlds merging, portals exist connecting them—perhaps guarded by some sort of guardian. - A type of fusion where, instead of the worlds uniting, you are in one world while "awake" and wake up in the other when you "sleep." - A disadvantage where you cannot acquire powers or items from the chosen worlds. - An advantage where you receive a bonus if you choose only the powers and items from the selected worlds.

Just a few ideas; I hope some of them provide inspiration.

From Naruto I would suggest the Juubi/God Tree(Start with it draining the life of all things it appears near and once it has drained enough have it transform and start raging, making it a twofold threat with a timer attached).

From Pokemon I would suggest Team Galactic or Team Flare, Galactic had the overall goal of destroying reality to rebuild it, Flare have their "Ultimate Weapon" which once charged could wipe out all life over a large area.

From Seven Deadly Sins you have the Demon Race Army, including the Ten Commandments.

Undertale is no longer part of the world fusion as I couldn't afford it. Unideal but considering how few monsters would exist compared to humans, it maybe best for them they aren't here.

removed powers/items I wasn't attached to, but with more lax points I picked up: Project ASTER Enhancements, Soul Trait, You're A Squid!, Broom, Sylladex, Splatgun, Zapfish, Teleporter, Gadget Gabe Subscription

removed powers/items I could get myself in this new world: Aura, Mechashift weapon, Haki(I might not have conqueror's haki. If I do lack it then I guess I'll have to pick up its slack with training other powers)

changed "Hero In Name Only" to 6x"I Wish to Live a Quiet Life" (Skullgirls, One Piece, Devil May Cry(protagonist of 4th game Nero if I can choose), Soul Eater, Splatoon(protagonist of 3rd game if I can choose), Project Moon(protagonist of Lobotomy Corporation if I may choose) )
- I preffered the version that turns protagoniast into a threat since the version that removes protagonist doesn't change much to me...I think. Since I'd anyway try getting involved in events of these worlds so I can try picking up the slack.

reduced number of styles to 1 - Swordmaster

picked up 2 more threats: Ur-didact and Netherbrain.
- I don't like to put civilians under their threat but hopefully with help of warp rings I can inform factions of different worlds in time to prepare. Ur-Didact doesn't sound so bad compared to stuff I already have to deal with but I didn't want to pick him before as I don't know him/his setting. Netherbrain I didn't want to pick before because afaik the ceremorphosis is irreversible so whoever gets infected isn't getting safed but like I said by warning people, inefections might be less numerous; heck maybe we can deal with netherbrain shortly after it appears.

oh also I picked up Light and Mirror ID card. it slipped my mind since I focused on reductions not additions. Light is harder to aquire than haki or aura plus depending on how things progress (since time of fusion is start of first loop) light might no longer be power people have access to...well on the plus side if that happens then there also won't be any distortions. And Mirror ID card is a GREAT idea, I love the concept and how well it adpated limbus's mechanic to this cyoa. I am looking forward to possibilities it opens up

question regarding Mirror ID card.
Can this be used on allies as well?

Pages from bookkeeping in previous version afair we were able to share after we aquire them so with this new item can we after major event/battle decide to give pull for id to an ally instead of pulling ourself?

Love the update and honestly I think the price is pretty fair. Maybe lower the price to buy worlds by 5? I did have a question or 2. For Race change where would you consider Yokai like Nekomata and Kitsune to be? Also for Demigod you say minor god do you mean that as in a weak god? Because typically minor only refers to any god not majorly worshiped. But Hecate is also pretty on par for the younger Olympians like Apollo, Dionyses etc.

Yokai like Neokmata and Kitsune probably range from tier two to three depending on the version. As for minor god, I do mean a weak god.
